- Muhamad Irfan (10/5): - Porterhouse Beach Hotel is an unassuming and lovely property tucked between Novotel and Paragon Patong. It takes less than 5 mins to walk to the beach from there. It is worth every penny at that price point, especially for myself who spends the day adventuring and only comes back for rest. What I loved truly was the warm staff, Anne, the 'concierge' if you would call it. She'd help me the best she could if I had any questions. The cleaners too were friendly. And of course Roger, the owner of the property you would sometimes find by the pool having a drink. If I were in Phuket and in Patong again(and would wanna save on accommodation), Porterhouse is where I'd stay.

- Cindy (4/5): - What started out as a pleasant stay, nice pool welcoming staff and clean room for the money on the first day. Second day, was horrible for all involved and quite sad. Owner proceeded to become drunk and belligerent for hours on end screaming obscenities at his hotel manager and sadly one by one everyone left the pool area. People at the hotel with little kids and noone could swim because he was in the pool being verbally abusive. This was beyond sad, alcoholism is a disease and I hope this man gets help. I really would like to give it more stars for location and cleanliness but do to this unpleasant experience I feel one star is appropriate. I dont care if your the owner or not, you never treat anyone like that!!! Sad for the kids to have to hear and see such behavior, to say this ruined my day is an understatement😢

- Vikesh (6/5): Stay was value for money, and we chose it for its location. - Location is nice, value for money Staff could be more understanding to customer requirements rather them asking to book flights at the right time. It is just a normal communication protocol, like you can charge and it's within your rights and allow early check-in (if possible). I am happy to pay if required, rather than get a lecture on I saved money by booking tickets early. There must be a reason we book early, not to save 1000THB :).. All rest good I guess
- Pasi (8/5): Place near beach, pool and pool bar, friendly staff and owners and good value for money - Good location, near beach and walking distance from restaurants. Nice pool area and drinks/service in pool bar available, lot's of green. Room has what you need and good bed for all three persons. Easy and good communication, lovely people and thanks for hospitality. If we come back to Patong beach for sure under consideration again. This is not a negative thing, just observation. Don't expect marble and luxury, those places are elsewhere. But lot's of personality. Location is good but because it is near busy beach road you can hear noisy cars and people, especially fridays and saturdays when traffic goes on quite late, for us it was not an issue but if you look for quiet place it is good to know.

- Susan (10/5): A little oasis - Great location, very close to the beach but still felt secluded and away from the hustle and bustle. We received a very warm welcome and particularly liked the hotel dog Sasha who we loved seeing just pottering around and having the occasional rest on an unoccupied lounger! The pool area was the stand out part though, it was lovely to come and relax on a lounger in a little oasis. The plants and decor around it were perfect and you can get a drink from the little bar too.
- Piia (8/5): Worn down but clean & near beach - We had two rooms on the ground floor with a patio. The beds and rooms with three beds were clean and tidy. Just 100m from the beach on the North side of Patong Beach. Not luxurious but fine, no complaints for the price.

- Steele (3/5): Poor - Pool was nice. And good location close to beach. The owner is very unfriendly (the wife). Rooms are not cleaned until 5 pm or later. Pool towels are not available when asked for. Told they were too busy. There is a bar at the pool, but no one is working there. You need to go find the owners and then they will sell you drinks. But if you bring your own drink down, they will stop you right away. It would be nice if they were actually at the bar, so you didn't need to go get them. Overall, I felt very unwelcome Way more value for your money at other hotels close by.

- Olga (10/5): Definitely would stay again, when in Patong. Really close to the sea and the personal is very nice - Ann (the owner) was very sweet and attentive. The view from the room is amazing, big windows make room very sunny. AC worked really well. And when I sorted out how to use boiler, the temperature of water was good. Cleaning ladies were also very nice. And even if you decline cleaning, Ann and cleaning ladies would give you water and coffee. And I mean a lot of water, which is a huge plus for hot country. Ann also gave me beach towel for free, which is also very nice. The location for me was 11/10. You just need to cross a road (not a highway) to make it to the beach (like 2 minutes walk). I didn’t like Bangla street (20-25 minutes walk, but ~10 by taxi at rush hour), so the distance from it is also a plus for me. Cause it’s quiet at night. But it’s near 24/7 convenience store (7-11). The pool looked clean and was nice to look at from the balcony at night. I didn’t try it, cause you are literally 2 minutes away from the sea. It’s note a big deal, but it would be nice to have more lights near the mirrors. But I managed to make my makeup just fine. Someone might say that the furniture isn’t brand new, but it’s the vibe and part of the authentic decor, in my opinion.

Clean room and beach towels available from reception which was very helpful. Female reception staff was lovely. Only got 1 key for a family room of 5 people. The male reception guy could act a bit strange at times, made us feel uncomfortable at times- would be drinking in the pool and calling out to us as we walked past.

- Elfarini (8/5): greet by extremely nice lady.definitely will come n stay again. - everything..comfy,clean,spacious n quiet accomodation..a little far from noisiest patong beach ..and we like it.
- Pushpa (9/5): Perfect stay, much recommended - The place was super clean and next to the beach, it is on the main road and you don’t have to walk uphill. The pool was super clean as well and Khun Ann was very nice and hospitable. Only downside was to take my luggage up to 4 floor but it’s ok as Khun Ann helped me.

She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, addressing all our needs with a smile. Roger, the owner, also deserves high praise for creating such a welcoming and luxurious environment. His dedication to excellence is evident in every detail of the hotel, from the beautifully appointed rooms to the top-notch amenities. We truly enjoyed our time here and felt very well taken care of. It's clear that the team takes great pride in their work, and it shows. We will definitely be returning for another stay in the near future. Highly recommended!

- M (6/5): I enjoyed staying in this hotel. - The pool looks good although I haven't used the pool. The Patong beach location is 5 mins walking distance. The hotel location is very easy. The building of the hotel is old. It deserves renovation.
