• Lesley Anne (8/5): - Lovely location on the beach, easy walk into town. Close to Bowls Club for a delicious dinner. Also very good camp kitchen/bbq area. The amenities block near us was closed and the laundry washing machine didn't work.

Well maintained facilities, easy access to the beach Little bit smelly and noisy at particular times of day from the Fruit Bat colony But this is out of the parks control. Great to see them up close.

And close to the main strip The photos of the property looked renovated and nice yet when we got inside it was nothing like the photos. I had the impression it had two rooms yet only one and it freaked of mould inside. Too expensive for what we received. I was happy to pay for what I picked online but it was completely different. Will not be staying again
• Annie (10/5): - Loved our stay! The cabin was clean and modern with a full fridge, stove and microwave. Beds were comfy and there was ample room for everyone in the cabin - plus enough space beside for us to park 2 cars. Tasman Holiday Parks - Fisherman's Beach is such a nice park, right on the beach and a great place to stay for families. Some people would probably be annoyed by the bats in the area, but honestly they were fine!

• Lyndel (3/5): !!!STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! - Location was perfect Lady in management was incredibly rude and patronising on the phone, even laughing at me at one point. Completely unnecessary. We went out briefly just after we checked in and when we returned our doors (which my partner 100% locked before we left) were both unlocked, screen was still open a smidge & air-conditioning had been turned up from the lower setting we had it on. Our belongings were inside and they came in, changed the air con and left our doors unlocked!!! We will not stay here again! I suggest you find somewhere else too! I've stayed at the emu park hotel and the endeavour Inn, in the past and that is where we'll go back to in the future after this crappy unfortunate experience!! Aside from sour management (woman), unfortunately the beds were very hard. Pillows low and thin. Tiny shower. Hand & body wash in shower was empty. Daughters bed had no bedding & no towel for her (lucky we packed some). Lady at reception (not the manager), asked for my key card at check in (yes most places do this), however, she complained about people leaving messes when they leave and having to charge them, she was not very inviting/welcoming. Whole experience with the staff was off-putting. Fruit bats infested the tree next to us and along walk way to the park/town, strong smell of them when sitting on balcony. PLUS's: Cabin styled nice. Clean enough. Good location, walk to shops, beach & park. This is the first negative review I've ever left a place. I've read reviews like this from others before and thought "surely it's not that bad"....but unfortunately now I know 😩

• Florencia (1/5): A deeply disappointing stay marked by unprofessional staff & unjustified charges. - Nothing. My experience at Fisherman’s Beach was beyond disappointing. I received a call from the reception claiming they needed my card details to “finalize the booking on Booking.com,” which sounded like a normal check-out procedure. However, without my authorization, they charged me outside Booking, where I did the reservation, $125 USD for a supposed cleaning fee. ( this is Ilegal; asking me personal information, and not even asking me permission on this charge, they just used my personal information, like a proper scam) This charge is completely unjustified. I left the property in decent condition—washed all the dishes, placed the trash in a nylon bag, and ensured everything was in order. I’ve never had a complaint in all my years as a guest at other properties, as I pride myself on being responsible and respectful. To make matters worse, the receptionist was incredibly rude and dismissive, threatening that she had proof and photos and she was going to report it to Booking, she never even sent them or me anything, no wonder why.... She reprimanded me without giving me a chance to explain and treated me poorly despite my consistent kindness throughout the stay. From the first day, I was patient, even when they delayed my check-in by hours due to a broken air conditioner. They moved me to another cabin, and I didn’t complain or make a fuss because I value being polite and understanding. Sadly, I was met with nothing but unprofessional and disrespectful behavior in return. Having stayed at other Tasman Holiday Parks, like Airlie Beach, and had excellent experiences, this treatment at Fisherman’s Beach was shocking. I advise future guests to be cautious when booking this property, as their staff clearly lack respect for guests and may charge unjustified fees without explanation. Only care about money, clearly because they are not getting much guest because of the bats colony they have on the park. Much different than Tasman Holiday Park Arlie Beach, where I loved!

• Sarah (10/5): Perfect Family Holiday - My husband stayed in this caravan park with his family as a teen, so many nice memories to reminisce about and now new ones to make with our kids! Our cabin was clean and comfortable. The grounds were well maintained. Close to town and beach, wonderful location! Bats are in the surrounding trees towards town and beach, however this didn't bother us.

The air con worked well for the whole cabin. As it was wheelchair friendly, it had a wide ramp and dog fence across to the back making it dog friendly as well. Water was hot & plentiful & it was only about 70 metres across a park to a nearby IGA/Drakes & local shopping centre. It was a pleasant, relaxing weekend.

Liked how there were no boom gates for entering and exiting. Location was fantastic, close to town and the beach access was great. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.
