• Gabri (7/5): Great getaway not even 2 hours from Helsinki. Very cozy place with stunning view. - Location was great, the cottage was real finnish experience. Clean, cozy and with all the amenties you need. Sauna was great, wood already cut, small rowing boat for us to use, the location is really peaceful. We want to go back for sure Beds and pillows were very used in my opinion, like old. The overall place could use a bit more hooks around the house and toilet. In the toilet some of them were never replaced. The toilet doesn't have a lock but it's no big deal.

• Noora (9/5): Luonnonrauhainen - Siisti ja ihan täydellisesti rannassa keskellä luontoa, naapurissa oli majoittujia mutta niistä ei juukubut yhtään mitään eikä heitä edes nähnyt metsikön takaa Puut olivat ulkona niin että kun oli vähän satanut niin ei meinannut syttyä kun kosteita, mutta nekin kun kirveen kanssa hakkasi pienemmiksi niin ei olkut ongelma sekään.

Mahtavaa, että hellan lisäksi on myös kaasugrilli ja grillipaikka. Yhteydenpito majoittajaan oli helppoa. Parasta mökissä oma rauha ja maisema, sekä perinteinen sauna.

• Vainius (5/5): Nature is amazing, but maybe look for another spot - Finnish nature feels amazing - endless forests, mirror-still lakes, and soft northern light coming together in a calm that gently restores the soul. The host’s communication was appallingly poor, riddled with miscommunication and hidden facts, making the entire experience frustrating and one I would absolutely not recommend to anyone. Just because of that - would recommend to choose other option, and there are plenty!

While the cottage was quite cozy and clean, info such as the lack of running water should be stated more clearly before booking by the host. It was a memorable and recharging experience with the family, enjoying the convenience of the paddle boat and the lovely sauna culture. We had everything we needed, and the host was extremely friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance. Thank you for sharing these picturesque cottages — we were lucky to find this place.

• Mahela (8/5): Rustic Hidden Jewel - A hidden jewel tucked away in the woods and right next to a beautiful lake. An owl flew by our car on the way there and the starry night sky was amazing. We went in autumn. It's quiet, with an outside fireplace, picknic table, porch and hammock. The outhouse is in the woods next to the hut. There is another house up the road but no one was there. The furnishings are a bit worn and grubby. But I appreciated the authentic feel.

Sijaitsee keskellä ei mitään, kauniilla järven rannalla. Ei ollut ketään ympärillä. On hieno pieni lahti, hyvä meloa. Oli helppo laittaa kajakki veteen ja mennä katsomaan järviä. Sauna oli tosi hyvä. Paikka on rauhallinen ja hyvä olla luonnon kanssa. Ei ollut liian suuria odotuksia, siksi kaikki oli miellyttävää.

• Minna (10/5): Ihastuttava mökki kauniilla järvimaisemalla - Mökki oli kauniilla paikalla rannassa, hyvä laituri ja mukava uida puhtaassa järvivedessä. Mökki oli kivasti sisustettu. Siellä oli kaikki tarvittavat mökki viikonlopun viettoon. Mökkitie oli pitkä ja mäkinen. Vessa oli puolessa välissä jyrkkää mäkeä. Mökin lattia oli hieman tahmainen kun saavuimme. Kunnollinen sänky oli vain kahdelle, muuten sohva ja patja.

• Nora (10/5): - Endroit exceptionnel. Complément isolé, le chalet est en pleine nature, silence absolu et déconnexion totale, ça peut être déroutant au début. Accès direct au lac, barque à disposition. On avait prévu assez de nourriture pour trois jours car il faut rouler 20 min dans les bois avant d'arriver au chalet. C'est assez isolé. Il a fait très beau, ce qui a rendu l'expérience incroyable. On a adoré. Rien. Le chalet était sans eau courante mais on était prévenu ! Et c'est assez petit à l'intérieur pour trois mais cela ne nous a pas gêné.
• Sander (10/5): Absolute gem for country-side - Absolutely fantastic place, very well located. Only regret is spending too little time there. Didn't have time to use beautiful sauna or grills, but took boat to see around in the lake. Which is also very big and plenty to explore. Looked that there are enough of fish, so suitable to fishing also. Hammock is a nice touch to rest and look for sunset or lakeside. We were just amazed how private and pretty that place was.
• Kemppainen (9/5): Vuorenpeikossa oli todella saunoissa on uintissa. - Oli todella hyvin löylyä saunoa ja uintissa. Uimarannalla on huonokuntoinen . Kasveja rannalla ja laiturilla on ruohouksia. Olin ei etsinyt löydetty sähkögrillin johto ja jatko kytkimetiin ulkossa. En käyttänyt kaasugrilliä.

And we didnt get it really got pissed at it. The kitchen cookinh plate was broken and had a replacement new one

A truly cozy and refreshing getaway spot! Adding a playground for kids and adults would make the stay even more enjoyable. It would be a great addition for both fun and relaxation.

Avannostakin sai vettä vielä ensimmäisenä päivänä, ja vesi onneksi riitti kahden yön oleskeluun. • Mika (9/5): Rauhallinen syrjämökki mökkitien päässä - Olin jouluviikolla mökissä, pakkasten ja lumen aikaan, ja mökillä sai olla todella rauhassa, ilman ihmisääniä ja katsellen tähtiä ja linnunrataa ilman valosaastetta. Sauna lämpiää helposti ja puuvajassa on kirves. Auton voi liukkaalla kelillä jättää mäen päälle, sinne on aurattu tilaa tien päähän. Tie ja tontti aurataan aina 10 sentin lumen tullessa. Oli kiva, että saapuessa laiturin päähän oli tehty avanto uimista varten. Omistaja vinkkasi, että tuulisella ilmalla saattavat sähköt pätkiä ja näin tapahtuikin, oli lukuisia sähkökatkoja (alle minuutista noin kymmeneen minuuttiin). Tullessa mökille oli varoitus, jottei vahingossa lukitse itseään ulos. Avaimen voi säilyttää koko ajan avainsäilössä. Saunassa oli edelliset tuhkat. Keittiössä on perustason tarvikkeet ruoanlaittoa varten, ei esim. kovin monta kattilaa. Tontti on melko jyrkkä, erityisesti laiturille mennessä, enkä talvella uskaltanut yksin käydä avannossa (ihmisiä ei ole lähimaillakaan, jos jotain sattuu). Mökkitie vaatii talvella nastarenkaat (kitkat eivät riittäisi) ja hieman ajokokemusta, 30 km/h on sopiva vauhti. Liukkaalla säällä auto kannattaa jättää mäen päälle, tontilta nousu on sekä jyrkkä että mutka. Kovalla lumisateella ja liukkaalla säällä en uskaltaisi ajaa. Lähdin puoli vuorokautta aikaisemmin pois, koska keli alkoi muuttua hyvin huonoksi.

• Maximilian (10/5): Wunderschöne Hütte im Tiefsten Wald - Sehr schöne, sehr abgelegene Hütte, dass was man sich unter einer finnischen Mökki vorstellt. Eigene Sauna direkt am See war sehr toll. Wir waren im ersten Moment / beim Buchen nicht darauf vorbereitet eine Hütte ohne fließend Wasser zu haben. (Hat dann aber für uns gut funktioniert). Genauso die Lage am Ende einer 7 km Schotterpiste durch den Wald war für uns unerwartet, aber letztlich mit dem Auto gut machbar. (Wir sind mit dem Kleinwagen hingekommen, war aber ein klein wenig gruselig)

It’s not anything to big, but house TAPIO didn’t have any hooks or hangers for your coat by the door, it would have been handy ☺️
• Merle (1/5): Kohutav kogemus, ei sobi peredele. - Lõks - omanik telefonile ei vastanud, voodipesu ja patju polnud - olemasolevad väga räpased (eelnevate külastajate poolt), põrandad/uksed kääksusid, köögi pesukäsnad/lapid/rätid kulunud ja räpakad, interneti levi ei ole, pood 26km kaugusel ja kohale jõudes suletud. Perega ehmatasime korralikult ära, pärast 10 päeva Soomes ringreisi, kus iga majutus kogemus oli fantastiliselt suurepärane.
• Elanie_ (10/5): Bildes melo - šeit ir vēl labāk! :) - Burvīga aizbēgšana no ikdienas steigas uz absolūtu klusumu (izņemot blakus esošos angļu kaimiņus :D) un mieru pašā ezera krastā. Ja vēlaties baudīt mierīgu atpūtu ārpus civilizācijas un ikdienas, tad šī ir īstā vieta! Namiņā bija viss nepieciešamais, pat vairākas no lietām, kas bija minētas, ka jāņem līdzi pašiem, piemēram, kafijas filtri un sāls/pipari no iepriekšējiem viesiem. Sauna un slotiņas tai turpat mežā, ezera peldes pārdesmit metru no namiņa, ogas un sēnes, ezerā zivis - noķeramas no krasta laipas. Pieejama airu laiva (ieteikums saimniecei - namiņos, kuros atļauti suņi, izvietot arī suņu glābšanas vestes). Gultas, neskatoties uz vairākiem uzliktiem virsmatračiem, pārāk izgulētas. Kā arī visi mājiņā esošie spilveni ir vislētākie ikea/jysk varianti, kas sastāv no sintepona bumbuļiem tajos. Ja jūsu miegam ir svarīgs labs spilvens, tad ņemiet līdzi savu. Vai arī saimniecei jāizdara ieguldījums kvalitatīvos spilvenos, kas nenolietojas pēc pāris nedēļām, vai arī jāmaina lētie spilveni regulāri :)
• Anne (7/5): Anne Joru - Tapio-mökki, oma rauha, ei näkyvyyttä naapuriin, hyvä laituri, kirkas hyvä vesi ja uimiseen nopeasti syvenevä ranta, mukava kevyesti soudettava vene. Ihana kuisti, hyvä sauna ja tilaa kahdelle ihan mahtavasti. Koiran sai ottaa mukaan. Ei juoksevaa vettä ja juomavesi piti tuoda, ulkovessa ja aivan mielettömän jyrkkä ylämäki autolla pihasta lähdettäessä, renkaat löi tyhjää.

• Gunther (9/5): sehr schönes Sommerhaus mitten in der Natur an einem See - sehr schön und einsam gelegen. Gut zum in die Sauna zu gehen zu baden und zu Schwimmen. Es war in dem Haus alles vorhanden, was wir für den Alltag benötigt haben. Den gasbetriebenen Kühlschrank haben wir nicht erwartet, aber er war sehr hilfreich. Die Hütte war sehr einfach und ohne Strom und Wasser. Wir wollten das aber so und haben das einfache Leben ebenfalls genossen.

• Sonja (9/5): - We had an absolutely great time at this cottage. Surrounded by trees, the lake and nature, really relaxing and an excellent vacation for our souls. The staff was very friendly, fast in answering and really helpful. As we booked a hottub, this was a great plus to everything as we love hot water 🙃 Very very recommendable!!! The mosquitoes 😅
• Jonas (5/5): - Paikka sijaitsee täydellisessä luonnon rauhassa järven rannalla, hyvin yksityinen paikka, oma rauha. Omistaja/hoitaja vastasi nopeasti viesteihin ja ohjeet olivat selkeät. Mökki (Vellamo) oli melko nuhjuinen, sisäilma hieman tunkkainen eikä ilmastointia/ilmalämpöpumppua ollut joten oli kesällä kuuma vaikka nukkuisi ikkunat auki. Yleinen siisteystaso esim. keittiössä ei ollut kovin hyvä. Sisä-wc:hen käynti kuistin kautta, ei sijaitse mökin huoneiden yhteydessä vaan erillisen saunan. Luonto alueella pitkälti tiheää nuorta metsää, jossa ei oikein pysty kävelemään muuta kuin tietä pitkin, ilmeisesti hakkuiden jäljiltä, joitakin tuoreita avohakkuualueita on myös. Perille vie hyvin hitaasti ja varovasti ajettava pitkä kivinen mökkitie. Meillä mobiilinetti toimi käytännössä vain laiturin nokassa (DNA, Telia) joten tarjoaa hyvän tauon esim. somesta :)
