• Clifford (10/5): - As far as location goes, this APA cannot be beat. There are a few restaurants and konbini right around the corner as well as a few subway stations being there as well. It is a nice location to get to pretty much anywhere in Tokyo. Please don't expect a large western style room here; there room for a bed, a small desk/vanity and a small bathroom. Expect to just come back to sleep, with a bit of extra luggage space under the bed. Staff were very helpful and willing to help with anything, from check in to holding on to your luggage. Would stay again.

The breakfast buffet is awesome and delicious, the only downside is every day they serve the same thing. The washroom in the lobby is spacious and clean, they also have ice machine, water and microwave. Overall I like the stay and would recommend it to anyone

• Verified traveler (10/5): Will stay again! - Really great service, especially from the trainee behind the check in desk. Room was very clean, small but easy to navigate with 2 people. There are a few APA hotels in the area so it was confusing to figure out which one is ours, but the area is really convenient for all the sights in tokyo. It requires only one train (50mins) from Haneda airport. I wouldn't say the hotel is that eco friendly given the amount of plastic wrapping used but then again its common in Japan.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a great hotel! Yes, the room is small. I would recommend he double room over the twin. This hotel is a remarkable value for a big city like Tokyo. It is less than a block from Bakurocho station of JR trains. Cabs readily available a block away. Multiple 7/11 type stores close by. A coffee shop a block away plus several small restaurants within two blocks. It's a very quiet hotel - I heard zero noise from the street, the next rooms or the hallway. The hotel is spotless. Bathrooms are compact but very functional. Plenty of hot water with great pressure and a handheld shower option. Deep soaking tub if you like that. Simple bidet toilet. Many amenities provided - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, foaming hand soap, fold up comb, q-tips, disposable razors, shower cap, toothbrushes and toothpaste, handi-wipe type washcloths, hair bands and cotton pads. No bar soap. Robes, slippers and blow dryer provided. Basic coffee, tea, sugar and hot pot in the little drawer over the mini fridge. (no mini bar). Plenty of towels and an efficient bathroom fan. There's a step up into the bathroom if you have mobility issues. The bathroom door is frosted glass but you can't see through it. There's a long, narrow desk with a chair and great lighting for makeup application. There are multiple outlets and a USB port right next to the bed.All room lighting is controlled by a panel next to the bed - very handy. Built in reading lamp. The TV is huge 50" flat screen. Only one channel in English -

During our stay in Japan, we traveled between Tokyo and Osaka and we both stayed in APA Hotels and I can say that APA Hotel Nihombashi Bakurocho-Ekikita is way better than its counterpart in Osaka. Both hotels are strategically located, walking distance to the trains, staff are very helpful but the condition of the property is largely different. Osaka property is a bit old. Also, I want to commend the staff in Bakurocho-Ekikita, they are really helpful and accommodating, even help us to book taxi and carry our stuff. If given the chance, I will stay here again.

It’s way better than the Airbnb we stayed previously that we force ourselves to move out due to the place is very dirty. Luckily we booked and found this hotel, definitely return our holiday mood! Nearer to a lot of station, walking distance to Akihabara and breakfast buffet are delicious. It’s highly recommended to everyone! We will come back here again if we’re in Tokyo!

Room are very small by european standards so be aware of this in advance. Right next to train station so very easy to travel to/from - 25 minute walk to Imperial palace so close to central Tokyo. Lots of coviencience stores within 50m of hotel and a couple of nice local resteraunts. Facilities in hotel are limited. Overall I would sue this again as it was a great base for visiting Tokyo and Japan.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - I liked how the room was modern, and how many different types of amenities there were. We unfortunately however did not get or coffee resupplied for the first two weeks. This was the only real complaint though.
• Rahim Bin (10/5): Nice, Comfortable Hotel Near a JR Station - There are many positive points about this hotel that can mitigate the small size of the room. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. Even the pillows, which some earlier guests mentioned as too soft or thin, were comfortable and enabled me to get a good sleep. Our rooms were on the highest floor, so that gave us a nice view of the surrounding area. It was nice. In one of rooms, we could see the Tokyo Tower. Guests can opt to have eco cleaning instead of the full daily cleaning of the rooms where only the towels are replaced. For this option, a bottle of water would be given. For JR Pass holders, the hotel can be easily reached via the Yokusuka line (to Chiba/Narita) from Tokyo station. The Bakurocho stop is only two stop from Tokyo station. From there, the walk is only about 200m to the hotel. There are a few convenience stores nearby and a coin operated laundry about 300m away. Perhaps, the hotel management could consider establishing a common lounge area for hotel guests to use for guests to gather since the rooms are quite small. This would make the hotel an ideal place for budget travellers to use as a base for exploring Tokyo.

The room is small and compact but it has everything you need. Only thing thats missing I guess is free breakfast.

All the necessities are offered in the room and one of the best things about checking in this hotel is that you can leave your things even after the check out time. The hotel is very conveniently located about a block from Bakuracho station and also within walking distance from Higashi Nihonbashi station. Access to J.R. Sobu line, Shinjuku metro, and Asakusa lines. Hotel staff very helpful. They use a computerized checkin system which a staff member guided me through. As I came in to early to check in they stored my bags. Room is quite small but is efficiently designed to enable storage of baggage under the foot of the bed. Large big screen tv in room. There is restaurant attached to the hotel and you can purchase Japanese style breakfast but I didn’t try it. Find the surrounding area has only a few choices for dining. Also was able to leave bags on check out to wander about Tokyo for a few hours.

• Mahsa (8/5): Economic Tourist friendly Hotel - Positive: location is close to JR station, so you can almost visit most of Tokyo with your JR pass. There is a direct train from Narita airport to station nearby hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Negative: Room service was good but not perfect. They were not charging tea and cofee in the room after day2. Room was a bit cold, and we had to ask to increase the room temperature centrally.

The hotel itself was in good condition and the room was maintained very well. The bathroom had a slightly sour odor initially but after a few hours of ventilation, it lessened. A big plus was that this hotel was within a 20 minute walking distance from Akihabara station and other metro stops as well. Plenty of convenient stores within a few blocks radius as well.
