• Selcuk (4/5): Vasat Vasat Vasat - Konum, personelin güler yüzü. Northdoor Amasra Hotel’de 2 kişi bir gece için 12.350 TL ödedik. Fakat otel asla bu fyatı haketmiyor. Klozetin rengi sararmış, kanalizasyon ve rutubet kokusu inanılmazdı üstelik koku tüm odanın içindeydi. Kahvaltı salonu dar, masa düzeninden dolayı masalar yetersizdi. 9.30 dan sonra gelen misafirler ellerinde tabakla gezinip yer bulamayınca, personel etrafımızdaki 3 masayı “kahvaltınız bittiyse” diyerek kendilerince kibarca kaldırdı ancak insanlar hala çaylarını, kahvelerini içiyordu. Ben açıkçası içeceklerini yarım bırakarak kalkmalarına şaşırdım. Alınan ücretle, otelin imkanları arasında ciddi çelişki var. Ya alınan paraya göre hijyen ve hizmet sağlanmalı ya da hizmete ve imkanlara göre ücret alınmalı idi. Kesinlikle bir gece için 12.350 TL ödeyerek vasatın altında bir konaklama yaptık.

• Kaan (8/5): - Probably the best hotel in Amasra, with its own small pool, access to the sea in the big harbour, parking area and lovely tea with breakfast. But definitely a four star hotel at best. Our room was right beside the pool, which has music at high volume, although fortunately only till 6:30 pm. The king-size bed was two twins pushed together, with an uncomfortable divide down the middle. And the water by their deck on our second day was unswimmable given floating seaweed (unavoidable) and garbage, which should have been cleaned up.

Fiyatını hak eden bir oda hizmeti sunduğunu düşünmüyorum bölgede tek iyi otel olma şansını kullanıyor.

Clean rooms with all basic facilities and excellent choice at breakfast. Very good local amenities and restaurants with good local seafood from the Black Sea.
• Melinda (10/5): Amasra visit - The hotel was absolutely beautiful and in a fantastic location to explore the sights of Amasra. The room was spacious and there was a lovely outlook from the balcony over the ocean. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was amazing.

Gürültü mutsuz etti yatakta iki tek yatak birleşimi olduğu için mutsuz oldum. Maalesef mutsuz bir misafirlik oldu.

• AYDIN (6/5): - The room was near by the Swimming pool, I asked to change my room, Reception man wasn't helpfull and did not change . either I was tired to sleep or may be they reducse the sound of the music. when I asked very reasonable items , they usually relactant first, later if you push them they change their repsonse and try to help. but first impression was't pleasant. well please don't hesitate to ask and push them for your simple needs.

• Anthony (9/5): A delightful place for a few nights. - Outstanding restaurant for dinner. My compliments to the kitchen staff and friendly waiters. Breakfast is also good. Breakfast staff is a group of very casually dressed boys, who don't do much of anything. The young professional looking lady seems to do most of the work. She should be promoted to supervisor and have just one of the boys to assist her in the mornings.

The parking is taken from hotel guests by daily visitors of the beach around. The breakfast was eaten up by a tourist group by the time of official opening of the restaurant and was not refreshed, everything was cold already.

• Tanja (8/5): Beautiful Amasra - Amasra is a beautiful quaint little town. Northdoor is most probably the best hotel in the area- as the rest of the places look dilapidated. Unfortunately the beaches in the area are terribly dirty but the hotel has a nice deck in front. The hotel also has a nice pool area for families. Views from the hotel is nice. The rooms were very nice and clean and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate and had a decent variety. The cakes were nice but the borek unfortunately was horrendous. If you are passing through on this route I would recommend 2 nights as the town is cute and it’s a relaxing place to visit, very scenic. Wifi was not the best

• Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable place for families - I had a pleasant stay at the hotel with my family. The hotel is located away from the crowded streets of Amasra, which makes the environment more comfortable, especially for families. On the other hand, Bartin is a tiny town and as a result it takes almost 2 minutes on foot to go to the city center. The hotel has its own parking lot, so it was easy for me to find a spot for my car. We had a chance to eat dinner in the hotel restaurant and the food was delicious.

A very short walk from a number of restaurants and different parts of the beach. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Parking available (which was useful as there is limited street parking). • Lannier (10/5): Tres bon hotel, bien située - Un tres bon parking securisee pour les motos, personnel gentil et attentionnée le seul defaut edt que la salle de restaurant qui a vue sur la mer est aussi la salle des fumeurs ce qui tres desagreable et pas du standing de l hotel.
• Lannier (10/5): Tres bon hotel , charmant et bien situés - Notre chambre etait spacieuse et tres propre, on peu entendre les voisins car l insonorisation n est pas parfaite mais avec unnpeu de civisme tout se passe bien. Le restaurant propose ine bonne cuisine et de bon vin dommage que la zone du restaurant avec vue dur mer soit fumeur, des clients du bar viennent uniquement pour y fumer alors que vous y etes pour manger.

• Andrew (9/5): Excellent Value Hotel with international 4 star standard facilities and rooms. - A modern four star "Hilton" type hotel. Nice big pool. Large rooms, comfortable common areas. Breakfast very good and restaurant meal in the evening good too (with wine), though service, though cheerful and helpful, needs to be better. The staff are young and perhaps lacking experience so service at dinner was somewhat chaotic. However, dinner itself, the food, was good and the staff good humoured and helpful. The chef needs to get a handle on delivering courses at the same time to all diners (i.e. starters together, mains together etc).

Room was nice and big, plenty of room and our little balcony which gad a table and chairs was just perfect as we had a view of the Black Sea. Pool area was lovely and clean, childrens pool as well. Poolside service was A1. Can't find any faults with our stay. Would definatly stay again.

• Yolcu6323 (2/5): Shame on you - They actually think that they can be a 4 star hotel by having a pool and stuff like that. The people who work there (reception & breakfast) ..I actually asked myself if they hate their work 0 motivation. The standard room was clean but really small. The ocean 'view' was the pool view 🤣 and so noisy (excl. max volume music starting 9.00). You can't sleep well. The breakfast was so poor and the staff was only busy with cleaning everything (don't expect any silence) so they could leave exactly at 10.30. All the time I was just laughing and could not believe that this was a 4 star hotel. The thing is that they actually believe that they are a 4 star. Note: pool too small, beach dirty. If you wan't a hotel full of noise disrespect and swimming over each other in the pool .. this is a perfect hotel! Last one: If you wan't thea in the morning (breakfast) and there is no cup left anymore.. well bad luck no one is going to bring you a cup they are all too busy with being ready on time (10.30).

• twingotrip (8/5): An experimental attempt in Amasra - The first holiday village where the family pensions started decades ago in Turkey Amasra. Unfortunately, it could not beat its bad luck so far and forced to serve with bad quality hotels. Northwood seems decided beating this badluck.
• pdmancs (8/5): Comfortable - The Northdoor ticks a lot of boxes - it’s likely the nicest hotel in Amasra, with a huge pool area, and decking/sun loungers by the sea. It’s quite a big property, with rooms spread out resort-style, so it feels relaxed and spacious. The room was comfortable, with a nice balcony, and everything you might need. Breakfast was kind of a buffet affair - you move along a line pointing at things which the staff plate up for you. It worked quite well, and the re was a good choice of stuff. Although there’s a pool bar, it never seemed to be manned whilst we were there; this made ordering food or drinks difficult. We decided to have dinner on the decking area one evening (best to book). They set it up nicely, with a waiter station and a small bar - it looks really pretty. Unfortunately, it wasn’t a great experience. The staff seemed to be trying their best, but they looked like they needed help (no sign of management), and the food was disappointingly mediocre. We passed on desserts/more drinks because everything took forever - ordering, bringing drinks/food, getting the staff’s attention. It didn’t help that it rained either (although they were quick to put up canopies for everyone).
• Sevki (10/5): lağanüstü ✌️ - Bir gece de olsa çok keyifli ve müthiş manzara eşliğinde güzel bir gece geçirdik, çok teşekkürler.
• Vicky (8/5): - Lovely view of the harbour. Room was nice with seating area. Tv had no remote control and safe was shut so i guess reception has to authorise this. Seems strange in a relatively expensive hotel. Staff at breakfast were lovely. Reception staff were okay but pretty indifferent. I would not stop here again.
• Ian (4/5): Good quality hotel but facilities not available - The hotel was very clean and very nice, it was one of the more expensive in the town but thatbwas reflected in the facilities however.... We wanted tonuse thebpool after a day out, we went to it and their was a wedding dominating the whole area so we couldn't use it. We thought fine and went out for a meal. On the way home we decided that we would have a drink on the decking by the sea, the wedding party now dominated this area. If the hotel has booked a wedding it should inform guests that they will not be able tonuse all the facilities that they have advertised. Also parking was a completely full, probably because of wedding guests.
• Allison (10/5): - Lovely stay at this hotel. All staff very helpful & pleasant & The hotel is situated in a great spot . Will definitely be going back

• Amanda (10/5): - Great place to stay. Hotel has taken every step to protect clients against COVID.Good breakfast but not sure the buffet is the best option in the current climate. Maybe table service is better. Guests can be given time options at check in.
• John (8/5): - Stayed 2 nights All very nice except breakfast on 2nd day was very disappointing. Waited 40 minutes and was then served a child’s portion as they had run out of most items !! Many other guests equally upset. I raised this at checkout (an hour later) they apologised but just shrugged it off blaming COVID ??
• Hannah (8/5): pleasant stay in Amasra - Nice hotel - good restaurant and friendly staff. The never ending pan pipe music in the restaurant was terrible though! Room was quite a good size although the seating area only had one seat in a double room. This seems odd and a poor way to use the space.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Some of rooms have poor sea view (only from the balconies); the breakfast room is gloomy, they could have used the restaurant for breakfast that would be more enjoyable with a nice view. Overall the rooms are clean and well furnished.
