- Rosemarie (6/5): - This was my second stay at this hotel. This time I had been given a ‘superior’ room. Although it was like a suite, the only window looked out on to a shaft with drain pipes. I asked for a room change which they did the next day - so I had paid for a ‘superior’ room and ended up in one of the normal rooms which I was more satisfied with, apart from the pricing issue - I really feel I deserve a refund. The free bottle of wine was a large bottle of prosecco - for one person!!!! Ended up throwing most of it down the sink. Despite excellent location I’m not sure I will stay there again.

The roof top breakfast buffet was over the top fabulous...from the freshly squeezed OJ,the coffee,eggs,bacon, and on and on! The lovely man who made my cappuccino endured all the guests were well cared for. The only down side was the construction noise from the adjacent building.

The location was ideal, with everything within walking distance, which made exploring the area so easy and enjoyable. This was our anniversary trip, and staying here made it unforgettable. We are so grateful for the warmth and hospitality we received and would highly recommend to anyone visiting.

- Richard (10/5): Little gem in the centre of Rome. - Fantastico! We had to make a last minute booking due to another property letting us down. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the delightful Elizabetha (spelling?). The hotel is on the 4th floor, easily accessible by lift, of a lovely building. We walked to all the key attractions and didn't find a need for transportation. The hotel room was small to medium size and was spotlessly clean. We upgraded (small cost) to a room with a lovely bijou balcony which we sat on each evening. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast buffet which was well stocked with friendly staff serving freshly squeezed OJ and speciality coffee. Bottom line is that we would definitely stay again. - Mark (10/5): - This property is a little unique when you first get there because you need to go to the fourth floor to check in…. But the room was clean and the staff was a 10 out of 10….. also there is a great breakfast in the morning up on the roof that is included. This hotel is very convenient to everything. There’s lots of great restaurants and easy walking distance to a lot of attractions. I would highly recommend it.

- Laurie (10/5): - Our stay at Vitoria Colonna was excellent. The location is perfect. We took public transportation once and walked everywhere else. Very friendly and helpful staff. We will return to one of their properties. When we were there the wifi was out (+6 days). It made it difficult to work, but we survived.

- Rick (10/5): - Very friendly staff. Good location and walkable to attractions or take a bus just down stairs. Good breakfast. Just be aware that the elevator is tiny and the waiting can be long sometimes. If you have problem talking the stairs sometimes, it could be a challenge.

The only negative was the few days we were there they had a problem with Wi-Fi so there was no Wi-Fi. Huge bonus was in the room was one US. Would absolutely go back again. Elisabetta and staff were wonderful!

I can’t say enough good things about Elissabetta who welcomed us, provided recommendations on visits, booked restaurants and provided a gift to offset the WiFi issue. She ensured our stay was very pleasant! I highly recommend this hotel!

Only slight issue was a rather odd ensuite bathroom with a clear window right into the room! So a rather major lack of privacy! everything else was fine and they gave us a reallly useful sheet with recommended restaurants. I'd recommend and stay again but they really need to invest in curtains / frosted glass!!!!

The breakfast was delightful- great selections of croissants, meat, cheese, fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice and tasty coffee. There was an elevator to help with baggage, although the beautiful old marble steps were lovely to occasionally climb. As are most accommodations in Europe, the room and bathroom were a little on the smaller side, but this did not detract from a great experience. Everything was clean with fresh towels daily and cold water provided in the mini fridge. The location is perfect and walkable to most attractions, with bus stops a few steps away in the street. Also several restaurants very close by and the staff were always helpful in giving recommendations. Will absolutely recommend to friends and visit again for future trips!

Only drawback was a non full length blind and the door buzzers being rather loud after hours. I think this was due to room selection. 4th floor for the hotel, a lift is available, a consideration for some.

- Juan (10/5): - Rome is the "Eternal City", you can live there for 10 years and discover something new every day. From Relais Vittoria Colonna you can walk to the most touristic places around the city or can just lose yourself in to the surroundings. The bus stop is literally (30 metres) from the door! Breakfast is great! But the best is the staff!! friendly, willing to help, and always smiling!

- Mark (10/5): - I had a good stay at this hotel, which was ideally located for exploring Rome’s historic sites on foot. It was also an easy walk to the collection point for a day trip to Pompeii, which made things really convenient. Finding the hotel was a bit tricky, as there was no street signage — you’ll need to check the apartment call bell to identify the building. That said, the staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. Breakfast was included in the stay, though I didn’t take advantage of it. Overall, it was a comfortable and well-placed base for enjoying the city!

Lavinia and Elisabetta were wonderful, patient and full of great suggestions and ideas. The breakfast is very nice: omelettes, sausages, ham, pastries, fresh fruit and juices. Brewed coffee available, and they will make espresso drinks of your choice upon request (included with the breakfast). The room was immaculate, and cleaned and maintained daily with fresh towels each day. Thank you for a wonderful stay, I hope to return again some day!

It is nice staying somewhere that does not look like a hotel though that does make it slightly challenging to find in the first instance. Tip; climb the wonderful marble staircase to the 4th floor (12 flights) go on you know it is good for you - or take the lift.

The staff was friendly, the room was clean, quiet and comfortable, the breakfast was generous and the location was easily accessible to most of the major sights. We walked everywhere and the hotel was within easy access of some of the most popular sites (Vatican City, St. Peter's Basilica, Spanish Steps and the Pantheon). Lavinia and her team were top notch. Elisabetta especially went out of her way to make us feel welcome. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would try to stay here again if we are ever in Rome. A solid, 5 star experience. - Jonnathan (2/5): - This is NOT a Hotel, but a guest house, staff will not be reachable after 7pm if you need something. Entry card did not work on my last night’s stay, staff lack of response was completely unacceptable.
- Sandra (10/5): - I really appreciated the great customer service this facility offered. Lavinia, Mary and staff were responsive to questions and communication prior to an early arrival. Lavinia shared tips on getting around and restaurants. Staff were hospitable. I will stay there again if I return to Rome.
- Mitra (8/5): - The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and there was clean cold and hot water available all the time. The room was very clean but I noticed some ants by the window. I made sure that my suitcases are away from the window.
- Mandana (8/5): - Bigger room and bathroom than Casa Santa Sofia hotel we stayed in first leg of our trip.
