• CONNIE (10/5): Nice little quiet motel - The room was very appropriate for our needs. It was nice not to wake up from cleaning or other guests, but instead the alarm clock. This place is quiet and serene.

A updated air conditioner would be nice…one that shuts off and on automatically. Had to get up multiple times during the night to turn air conditioner off and on. Most of all the campers on site seemed to be for rent rather than rv’ers just passing through…little bit of a misrepresentation of RV camping.

• Brian (2/5): - Reserved room prior to arriving. When I arrived lady said she didn’t have any reservations for today. Looked at her calendar and saw my name as a reservation. Said she had no rooms. No real apology. The place was dirty and she had three dogs barking like crazy caged up by the office. Looked to be a mix of permanent and passing through rvs in the Rv park. Do not recommend. Office was dirty can’t imagine how dirty the rooms are. I don’t know what is up with the reviews and wonder if they are real.

• Scott (8/5): - Quaint, convenient, clean. Manager literally lives at the office so 24/7 service and very friendly. Accomodations and facilities are lean for the $. But most customers are probably stop & go - the motel is certainly adequate for that.

• Martha (8/5): - Very retro paneling, felt very homey. Pillows were not great, mattress was very hard compared to what were used to but we slept OK because we were so tired from the drive. The owner was delightful and very friendly. I would recommend when she replaces the carpet to put in vinyl flooring. The carpet felt old and didn’t look clean. It was very nice to have a full-size refrigerator, and the water pressure was great in the shower. Very nice it was so pet friendly.

• NORMA (2/5): - The day after I made the reservation they sent me an email cancelling it. They said they had booked it earlier that day yet had not time to remove availability off your website. Difficulty accessing you website was their reason. I called Travelocity to confirm it was cancelled and I got an apology. Is this follow up email a joke? For the entire two week travel bookings of my vacation I did not use your site. As long as I can remember I will not use nor recommend the Travelocity site. I cannot trust it’s accuracy. Booking should not be stressful. What do I get for this minor inconvenience….a mocking email asking how my stay was.

The room was clean and comfortable, but needed a little updating. Continental breakfast would have been nice, but there was no room for that.

• Laura (10/5): Lovely little place - This is a lovely little motel about 20 minutes from Chimney Rock. The bed was comfortable, the room was very clean and the towels were real towels (not those tissue paper ones you usually get). And there is a super cute and friendly guard cat named Riley that I was considering cat-napping. I would definitely stay here again.
