Free local calls from landline (no need for local sim!)/ They should specify that wifi is at a charge (they sell an internet card at 3usd for 72hours). But it is very affordable.

• Wilbert (10/5): Lehn's Motel is now my primary choice whenever I visit. - I liked everything. The price is reasonable. The location (quiet). Rooms were spacious and clean. It comes with a kitchen which is a big plus. I give the motel a 10. I plan to return, and also recommend to friends. staff however need to be a little more responsive. Example: every time I leave, I would turn in the key and say, "I'll be back" but no response. It happens all the time especially with the Indian man, and sometimes with the filipina lady. So the motel is very nice and I gave it ten overall but I'd say, unwelcoming staff and a unfriendly. With all that, it would not keep me from coming again. In fact, I will recommend it to friends.

• Alex (9/5): Nicely set back with a locals vibe. Decent rooms and nice staff. Bring cash! - This was my home for a week as a budget solo backpacker off the beaten (and affordable) path. And I am glad I chose to stay here! It definitely looked the most affordable option online and lived up to my expectations. Still a little pricey for what you get, but that's Palau. However, I loved the chilled vibe, the warm and friendly staff working there, and the location set back from the main strip of Koror, in a jungle area downtown with a locals-feel. It was great to birdwatch while having breakfast! The double room was a very good size, and the bed was comfy. The shower worked fine too, and hot water was always available in the kitchen for tea/coffee. I loved the colour scheme of the hotel too. Quite a few critters about at night...not for the squimish! This hotel could've provided a basic breakfast, as the place is always staffed. No free tea or coffee either! I got by with jam and bread every morning from the shop. Kitchen was a bit basic too. Bit of a musty, damp smell, but it didn't reach my room, and sort of expected in the climate. Cash payments only.

• Julia (5/5): Not worthy to save money, go to the main street - The room has a good space and is fairly comfortable. It is an old hotel. There is no breakfast, and the facilities of the room “kitchen” where not working properly. The hotel is not super close to the city center. The streets around have too many dogs, and I was attacked by three of them, had to suture my leg and suspend my dives. The wifi card they sell is unstable and only cover Koror downtown. The taxi driver they called had no patience at all, and I believe it is not an official taxi. Owners speak limited English.

• Geikie (9/5): Comfortable, affordable, well located - Great value for money, clean and spacious room. Air-conditioning works well, fridge and sink in room, linen and towels changed. Kettle and microwave and big dining tables upstairs in common area looking over lucious tropical scene from balcony. The kind and helpful staff really made the stay outstanding, gifting fruits from the market and organizing very affordable car rental. Unfortunately the card machine doesn't work so I had to pay for the whole stay in cash but Lehns is walking distance to several ATMs, supermarkets, restraints and post office. I would stay here again.

• Luc (10/5): Mooie kamer met karakter - Propere en grote kamer met 2 dubbel bedden. Goede matras en geluidloze airco.De kamer had een eigen touch met elke dag een ander bloemetje in de vaas. Leuke attentie. Aan de receptie waren ze zèèr behulpzaam. Ik kreeg een grote tros gratis bananen. En mocht wat langer op de kamer blijven om uit te chequen. Er is slechts 1 warmwaterboiler ter beschikking voor alle gasten en die staat beneden in de gemeenschappelijke ruimte. Maar met wat moeite kom je er ook.

• Charlotte (10/5): Lovely stay - The ladies who work at Lehns are wonderful. They are lovely and so helpful. The rooms are nice and big and the bed is comfortable. Would have liked a kettle in my room. You have to go to a communal area to use one. Also the road this motel is down is dark at night and has a lot of dogs which might be off putting to some people. The walk to the Main Street is very short though and I didn’t run into any problems.

There was no Wi‑Fi, but in the end it turned out to be a plus — it allowed me to fully disconnect, relax, and enjoy my holiday. Whenever something was needed, for example contacting a tour agency, I could use the reception phone free of charge. It was also no problem to leave my luggage after check‑out.

• Uri (8/5): Good low-budget option in Koror. - Good low-budget option in Koror. Large rooms, clean bedding (changed every 2 days), private bathroom, and very quiet location. Close to a good supermarket: West Desekel Mart (10 min walk). Great if you don't mind a bit of walking! The microwave and kettle are in the common area, not the room. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the main restaurant hub downtown. No breakfast nearby. No free Wi-Fi, but for $3 they sell you a card that gives you unlimited Wi-Fi on the entire island for 3 days

The reception staff are extremely helpful and go above and beyond to ensure you have a good stay. It is great value for money and cheapest you can get in Palau. • Ingmar (8/5): - Preiswerteste Unterkunft am Ort. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen, alles da, was man braucht. Auf dem Fußweg von Korors Hauptstraße zum Motel (und auch sonst in der Stadt) muss man sich vor kläffenden Hunden in acht nehmen. Besonders wenn sie als Clan kommen, sehr unangenehm.

The water temperature in the shower was hard to regulate. It goes from hot to cold even though I didn’t touch the faucets.

Los perros callejeros, no se puede llegar a pie de noche.. es un problema serio de la isla. Si fuera mas urbano tal vez habria menos perros.

• Tanaka (8/5): 押さえるとこ押さえている - シャワーがきちんと温度が設定できて、強い水量で出てきます。トイレットペーパーも良質です。お掃除も隅々まできれいにできています。押さえるところは押さえています。 シーツもとても綺麗です。タオルもふかふかです。この点は素晴らしいと思います。冷蔵庫の中もとてもきれいにしています。家の中にアリとゲッコーがいるのはご愛嬌！ とにかく、スタッフのフィリピーナのおばさんたちが怖い。フレンドリーとか言ってる人がいるけど、そうじゃない。いつも見張られてるような感じ。英語が得意じゃない人は来ないほうがいいと思う。 日本のスタンダードから考えれば、5000円位が妥当だけど、今のこの国の状況から考えると仕方ないのかもしれない。 海は全く見えません。
