Paid more for a worse room, poor cleanliness, unresolved issues, and terrible service. - I’ve stayed at this guesthouse/hotel more than five times, usually just for a one-night transition between work trips, and somehow they never fail to disappoint. This time was different—I booked three nights in their so-called “business duplex” because I wanted a better experience while visiting my girlfriend. Ironically, the cheaper room I’ve stayed in before had a private balcony, while this more expensive room had a shared/attached balcony with the family room. Both are marketed as their top-tier options, which makes no sense. The issues didn’t stop there. Cleanliness was below standard, and there were ongoing technical problems with the TV and toilet ventilation—things I’ve complained about multiple times in past stays. Nothing has been fixed. Reception showed zero concern or urgency. Booking was another nightmare. Since I had an issue with my card, I tried booking directly in MVR. That turned into a frustrating experience with extremely slow replies—mine were within 1–3 minutes, while theirs took 15–30 minutes each time. On top of that, when I simply asked for a higher floor, they tried to upsell me a room at 30% more. For a basic request. I declined and honestly just laughed at how ridiculous it was. They don’t offer room service, and bringing outside food comes with a ridiculous $100 charge. Meanwhile, their in-house Chinese restaurant is overpriced, with poor service that doesn’t justify the cost at all. Overall, this is consistently bad service, poor value for money, and a frustrating experience every single time.

- diyushaniw (2/5): Destroyed my money - I have travelled widely, but I have never experienced anything quite like this. Upon arrival, I was quite good welcomed by a young receptionist who was exceptionally polite but not that much professional. However He addressed every request with professionalism, and I truly appreciated his service. He done it with his capacity. However, the experience in the evening was very different. The staff member at the reception (mid age gentleman) at that time was extremely rude. I had to cancel my meal order despite having gastric issues, as I was suddenly informed that in-villa dining was not allowed and that I should purchase food from outside. As it was already late, going out was not a feasible option. This was especially disappointing because earlier I had been told that in-villa dining was available. He don’t know how to speak to the guest as well. Additionally, when I inquired about extending my stay and asked a few questions, I was dismissively told to “look at other resorts.” This response felt highly unprofessional and inappropriate. For the night I paid lot since it’s family room but I had to sleep without meal as well. Such a Shame Overall, it was an embarrassing and disappointing experience, particularly given the positive impression I had upon arrival.

- X1163UMhussains (2/5): Very disappointed - I stayed at Three Inn, Malé with my wife from 16th to 18th October, and our overall experience was very disappointing. Staff & Service: The staff were unfriendly and unprofessional. They did not smile or greet guests and were often busy making coffee or tea instead of attending to customers. No one helped us with our luggage, and we had to carry everything ourselves to the room. The attitude and service were far below hospitality standards. Room Condition: We stayed in Room 501, and the room was poorly maintained. The door closer was broken, the bathroom water was rusty, and there was no cable TV available. At midnight, our air conditioner started leaking water, and when I contacted the reception, it took about 40 minutes for someone to attend. The staff mentioned that the reception closes at 12 AM and claimed all rooms were occupied, so they couldn’t change our room. They only cleaned the AC mess, placed a towel on the floor, and said they would check later. After 20 minutes, the staff knocked again to say another room was available — but by then, it was late, and we were already very disappointed. Maintenance & Atmosphere: The hotel seems to lack regular maintenance, and the condition of the facilities shows it. There are notices everywhere warning guests not to eat in the room or stating that any item lost or damaged will be charged, which makes the environment feel strict and unwelcoming rather than comfortable. Breakfast Experience: The breakfast was very poor. While most guesthouses in the Maldives serve breakfast until 10:30 AM, here it closed at 9:00 AM. Food options were almost nonexistent — only a few cut fruits and baked beans were available. No tissues on the tables, no staff to assist, and water was poured from a 5L plastic bottle without a cooler, which looked unhygienic. Overall: Our stay at Three Inn was uncomfortable from start to finish. The service, maintenance, and hospitality were all below standard. Unless major improvements are made in staff training, cleanliness, and guest comfort, I would not recommend this property to other travelers.

- meimejmaymejen (10/5): Super worth it! - I’ve always had a habit: every time I go to the city, I try a different hotel. This time, I opted to stay at Three Inn. I was hesitant to book because of the ratings, and the price was so cheap—just USD 56. So, I kept my expectations low. But I’m really happy with my experience at this hotel. They have a smart TV, and I was able to watch Netflix—unlike other hotels that charge higher rates but don’t even offer Netflix. The room was very clean, especially the bathroom. It’s understandable that they don’t provide full toiletries—just shower gel and hand wash. The room was spacious. I will definitely come back and recommend it to my friends.

Other stories to come. *nice hotel for the area; well done but far from spacy *good location; walking distance to other restaurants, shops, hotels *check for airport transfer options / if included in price *funny rules for safety box [will not go into details] so ask in advance *safe to walk around but watch your step note:slippers with thick sole recommended *breakfest is not included but nice coffee shops along Beach rd. *complementary coffee [beside widespread Nescafe] includes 2 nespresso type cups per day *no reading light next to bed [although shown on the company web site] note: explanation is that it was removed since was broken frequently [fragile light design] *they have strict rules for food in the room [NO food allowed] so check for details *corner rooms have shared [!] balcony *the most stable wall sockets connection is UK 3 prong [type G] and is best to use it as adapter for other types; o/w wall socket are universal. *safe to walk around assuming you follow local rules [conservative dressing etc] note: pay attention when crossing street what side you turn head first ! *we layovered for diving trip [before and after] so did not go to beach *taxi to Male or airport have same price, apx 7$ / 850rf *recommend to get some money at [Doha] airport, say $50 [~700rf] for start note: get small bills [100's] since they also have big one 500's that cannot be easily exchanged. note:bring also small $ bills 1's / 5's / 10's *hotels do not have exchange office note: closest exchange office is 10min walking distance along main street [Nirolhu Magu]

I would like to particularly highlight Imon and Afjal from the front desk, the Airport Pickup/Dropoff Staff, and the Staff at the Restaurant. They were accommodating of any request I made from the time I had inquiries on the reservation prior to arrival, upto my drop off at Airport. The choice of items at the Breakfast Buffet was predictable - i.e same every day.

- Bogidar (10/5): A Nice Place to Stay - "Three Inn" is a nice hotel, situated right next to the beach. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. There are many corner stores and small restaurants around.

- Vadym (6/5): Mixed Experience: High Prices, Strict Rules, and Unfriendly Staff - Overall, it’s not bad, although the price could have been a bit lower. A couple of things I didn’t like: after registration, they send you a document listing various fines—for everything, from reusing toilet paper to broken furniture. The room itself is far from perfect, with some things already broken upon arrival. For example, if the chandelier fan breaks, you have to pay for it. I’ve never seen rules like this before. Another issue was the unfriendly staff. We waited at the reception for 20 minutes, and when the receptionist finally arrived, he didn’t say a word and acted as if we were disturbing him. However, in the morning, there was a great and friendly guy who even called us a taxi. After experiencing service on the islands, this hotel falls short when it comes to customer service.

- Safari46432756981 (2/5): Bad food, too expensive, worthless !! - There’s a Chinese kitchen, it’s a scam. They will loot you ,with inexperienced cooks. Taste is horrible. Charging 500ml water 2 dollar. Food was blend. There was no AC. Really felt bad after, visiting this restaurants. It will keep a bad impression of Maldives with such people in the restaurants. Will never forget THREE INN
- Slaveyka (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice hotel, clean room, wonderful view from the terrace, the beach is nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. The room description said there was a minibar, but in reality there wasn't one.
- Mujayanti (7/5): Good - The location The front desk was given wrong room without explanation until I ask the reason which finaly he change the room which I book more over when I ask the price for extended he given price in MVR not bank rate which different With the restaurant they charge bank rate it’s very strange
- Dr. (1/5): Such a bad experience never again! - Late check-out (12 am) An incredible night! The photos on booking.com suggest comfort and coziness. There is none of that. The windows are thinner than paper. Sleep was out of the question: cars, motorcycles and police sirens prevented us from sleeping. The beds were as hard as boards, our bones ached. Unbelievable! The "breakfast" was an imposition: apart from slices of toast, a single type of jam in plastic and hard-boiled eggs, there was nothing. We had to pay for the coffee/espresso ourselves (6 USD), but instant coffee was free. The question about cold milk was denied until we discovered a jug by chance. When we left the room, we showed the staff the rotten door frame, which was detached from the wall and the anchoring. They were aware of this, the staff waved us off. There is no shuttle service, although the hotel advertises this on booking.com. But they were happy to call us a cab (10 USD), but we preferred to take a taxi (7 USD). By the way: according to Google.maps, the airport is 6 km away (and not 1.2 km)...Communication in English was quite difficult.

The worst thing is that even caffe from the machine was extra paid and only instant one was free. This is simply disrespectful therefore i do not recommend this place and will never be back again. Its becase of the mindset of the owner

SHAME ON THE STAFFS AND THE MANAGEMENT NO DECIPLNE NO MANNERS UNETHICAL AND TRRIBLE COMPANY POLICIES People like this should never be in this industry They will find out every single way to fine you Room looks decent but the guest service is just terrible No respect towards the guests what so ever They harrased us and it dosent matter if it was to a women If a guest mistakenly made the room dirty then its the staffs responsibility to clean it and also make the guest feel comfortable but instead they insulted us in very rude ways and the first things they will say is I WILL CHARGE YOU FOR THIS Me myself i work in hospitality industry and have been in many hotels but by far this is the worst place to stay in maldives
- 714ibrahimu (10/5): Amazing Hotel and the Amazing staffs ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - The rooms were spacious and clean (comfy beds and nice bathroom). ♥️ The staff were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Many thanks to all the staff and specially Mr.Afjal who really made our stay comfortable and was looking after us from the first day.Overall this is a great hotel and i would definitely come back here again. ♥️

- Travel (6/5): Nothing like the booking.com ad - Staff were great. Especially the guys at the reception desk. No fridge until we made a fuss about how it was advertised then they brought one up. No view as advertised. Street was the view. No shampoo or lotion as advertised. Had to wash our hair with shower gel.

- aliaX2713XE (2/5): Worst of the worst - Terrible hotel No hot water Air condition doesn’t work Poor reception service No minibar If you want pay usd 75 per night for a disappointment then visit this terrible hotel, there are much better hotels in Hulhumale for sane rate. I would never ever visit this place even they give free stay.
