• Marc (10/5): Sind immer gern dort - Wir waren zum dritten Mal dort. Liegt sehr zentral. Zimmer immer sehr sauber und hat alles was man braucht.
• Haydee (7/5): - mooi personeel was nergens te vinden bij aankomst, meerdere keren moeten bellen. na een tijd iemand vast gekregen en dan nog moeten wachten omdat ze niet aanwezig was. dag erna hetzelfde.
• Aline Nicole (3/5): Good location, but be aware of Taxi scam!!! - Gute Lage und Rollerparkplätze vor Ort. Die Rezeptionistin hat uns ein Taxi organisiert zur Abreise Richtung Hafen und es wurde ein Festpreis abgesprochen. Als das Taxi dann kam, war von der Rezeptionistin keine Spur mehr da und am Hafen angekommen wurde der dreifache Preis verlangt!!! Außerdem ist es unglaublich hellhörig, wir wurde nachts immer wach gehalten von irgendwelchen Versammlungen anderer Gäste im Innenhof die dort getrunken und gespielt haben.

• Gary (8/5): The clue is in the name, but it wasn't for us. - The staff are lovely and the cleanliness of the room was faultless. The location is pretty good with moped rentals just down the road for 250 baht per day. Remember this is a predominantly Muslim island and as such, the local 7-11 shop does not stock alcohol. There are other shops that sell Alcohol though (at a slight premium) and it is not illegal to consume it on the island. The rooms have absolutely no view and the construction of the property is a single pour polished concrete. A bit of a posh Alcatraz. Enjoyable but lacking in personality and the outdoor community area consisted of 3 tables with chairs.

• Heidi (8/5): Fint ophold til billige penge. Vi havde 2 overnatninger og det var fint. - Simpelt og hyggeligt og fin placering. Rummet er lidt mørkt men det er ok. Hårde senge og stoppet afløb.

We relied on tuk tuk and bikes to get around so having breakfast and dinner a short walk away was great. Lovely room v clean and spacious. A v minor point would have liked more shower gel

• Mirka (10/5): Perfecta! 🤩 - La amabilidad de la chica de recepción, lo nueva y limpia que estaba la habitación, superó nuestras expectativas y volveríamos a repetir, súper recomendado! No tiene desayuno, pero hay 7eleven al lado y varias cafeterías. Fuimos a por el desayuno y nos estaban haciendo la habitación aunque nos íbamos ese día, fue raro, no queríamos interrumpir y a pesar del malentendido, fueron muy amables, no tocaron nada y lo seguimos recomendando.

• hind (4/5): Bon emplacement mais pas ouf comme hôtel - Bien positionné. Facile d’accès Le personnel de la réception est jamais présente. J’ai envoyer un message, je n’ai jamais eu de réponse. J’ai du laisser les clef à la réception car personne pour faire le check out à 11h30 .. Pas de pantoufles à disposition & mûrs insonorisés donc on entendait les gens rentrer tard et rigolais fort dans leur chambre. On a trouver des bêtes sur les draps.

• Stephen (8/5): - The property offered a clean and safe place to sleep. It is indeed very simple. My room had a pot for steaming water, but no in room coffee or tea. The price was very reasonable, and reflected the no frill option. For me, Id be willing to up the budget next time for more on site ammenities. The Simple represents good value for a no frills stay.

Shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure. Good breakfast options. Location is close to restaurants, shops, moped rental etc. Short moped ride to beaches. Cons: shower could have been cleaner. Bathroom had a damp smell. Ants and mosquitos had a habit of finding their way into the room. Lighting too low in bathroom.

• Lenka (10/5): Amazing stay - We stayed for 4 nights and everything was perfect. Very nice and new accommodation with nice staff. Very good location just about 5 minutes from the pier by motorbike. There are several restaurants next to the accommodation, supermarket just 5 minutes walk. The staff provide all information you need for your trips. The breakfast is in the restaurant just directly next to the accommodation, we also went there for dinner, beause all food was excelent.

• Kinga (9/5): Superb - Good value for money. Nice and helpful staff. The Simple is simple but tasty - that applies to both interiors and breakfasts :) It is not near to the beaches, but a moppet / motorbike is a must here (the island) anyway, so you'll get everywhere within 10 minutes.

• Iain (9/5): Modern and clean hotel in good location that is excellent value for money - Modern, small and clean hotel on the West side of the island - not far from the Port. Excellent staff and in a good location to explore the island on scooter. Very good value for money including breakfast as part of price. Very little not to like. A little out of the way from the busier east of the island - but very easy to get transport that takes no more than ten minutes

We had an accident on the island, she helped us a lot, came to the place where accident happened, helped me to get to the hospidal, sat with us for 3 hrs, ordered a lift back. Amazing treatment. All the people on the island were friendly, right next to the Simple there's a sweet cafe with amazing food and very sweet lady keeping it. The housing is, as the name reveals, very simple, but had everything we needed. Would recommend. The wifi worked better than the places we were on Bkk oh Phuket. We even had breakfast included, but we slept into that. The only thing is that there's no area to just chill while outside, but while on the island you don't want to spend too much time at the hotel anyway.

The breakfast staff were so nice and made the best food. It would have been nice to have a pool but otherwise the location is great as you can get to both piers and beach in just a short scooter ride

• Stephanie (9/5): Superb - Great location. Clean and basic. It has everything you need for exploring the island. I would have liked to seen better quality bikes available - these were a bit rusty and didn't change gear which was tricky when cycling up the hill.
• Roseanne (8/5): - The simple was simple but we knew this when booking and it was great for a cheap-ish one night after exploring Yao Noi. The room was clean and we had a comfortable nights sleep. Receptionist was helpful booking taxis but wasn’t able to help with much more than this when we wanted to book a tour so you’re best booking that yourself beforehand. I don’t think we met the famous ‘Jackie’ everyone talks about in the reviews so maybe that was why. There was no breakfast offered but was offered an espresso or Americano or a tea in the morning. Location wise you’re a bit far from the main beaches but if you have a motorbike you’d be fine. We didn’t so we found it a bit expensive to get around via taxi

Next to the place is the garden café with breakfast and good tips for exploring the island. The owner organised us a trip with locals to beautiful islands. There is also a shop that rents bicycles. For us this was the best way to travel the island. The company, that owns this place also has a resort with a private beach that we were allowed to use. We really miss this place. Nothing

Shower is also really nice. They offer free shampoo, shower gel and conditioner which is great. The location is very close to the centre, where you can find streetfood, restaurants and even a 7-eleven! -

• Laurent (10/5): A good value hotel - The Simple is like is name : simple. It's clean, well located, staff is kind and helpful. The room are a little dark but clean, comfortable and fresh. Of course there nicer and better places but considering the rates it's a really good value hotel. I recommend. Lake of lightness in the room.

I missed an outside area to hang out a bit, they only have a few chairs outside but not comfortable to relax. No terrace/balcony in the room so you always have to stay inside the room.
