• Katerina (10/5): Άριστη εμπειρία - Πολύ καθαρό κατάλυμα, και γίνεται καθημερινή συντήρηση (περιλαμβάνει και ανανέωση καφέδων και πόσιμου νερού). Δυνατό κλιματιστικό και πολύ καλή ηχομόνωση (όταν τα παράθυρα είναι κλειστά). Ο χώρος του ξενοδοχείου είναι πανέμορφος και με χαρακτήρα. Το προσωπικό ευγενέστατο και φιλικό, πρόκειται για οικογενειακή επιχείρηση. Η όλη περιποίηση ήταν εξαιρετική, και εννοείται πως θα ξαναμέναμε!

• Stephen (10/5): - We've never stayed in a hotel at all like this one. It was like traveling to another world. We used the Hamam in our room every day that was remarkable. The room was also huge and beautiful and the staff was the right level of involved. It sort of felt like having our own private place in beautiful Rethymno. I imagine that isn't the case during the season, but it was in March. It was also a great location.

• Timothy (9/5): Fascinating place to stay in the centre of the old town. - Stayed here for the Carnival weekend. It was very quiet as well away from all the activities so easy to relax when needed. The room and building are quite amazing, with fascinating features everywhere. Frosso was very friendly and let us check-out as late as we wanted, too. The shower room now works as a Hamam, so we had to use the shower in the jacuzzi, which was in the bedroom itself, which felt a little strange at first but not a serious problem. Also, there didn't seem to be any hot water the last morning but as we were checking out late, it wasn't really a problem either.

• Nikolenko (10/5): Amazing place with a historical architecture & design and relaxing ambience. - The Hotel , its beauty , facilities and atmosphere are totally fantastic. The location is perfect right in the center of the historical downtown in beautiful narrow streets. Lobby is like a live museum, with multiple artefacts and decoration of Ottaman Empire The pleasant aroma in lobby creates a fantastic ambience. In the bathroom everything was functioning, the water supply was great and every button of the jacuzzi was functioning properly ( unlike other hotels I faced). Everything everywhere was perfectly clean , neat and tidy. Communication with hotel admin was efficient prior check -in , I did wrong date booking right on New Year eve and needed to shift the day Hotel Admin kindly changed. And I feel guilty to the lovely Host that a friend of mine , who was staying with me caused an inconvenience to another guest , who was threatening to write a bad review of the hotel , however it was us, not the hotel addressing. It was a New Year for us and child obsessed mother on the other side, Where the preferences for the Holiday didn't match. Other than that, fantastic, amazing place where you can enjoy Hammam or Jacuzzi and after that relax in the ambiance of the beautiful lobby.

• John (10/5): The opportunity to stay in a converted Hamam with all it's attendant luxuries was very satisfying. - The location was superb and the in room sauna was fun. Our welcome was warm, friendly and helpful. Although no breakfast was provided there were cafes and restaurants in abundance in the Old City area. The outdoor courtyard attached to the apartment was very pleasant. Parking is a huge problem in Rethymno! We arrived on a weekend and just managed to score a park well within walking distance. Being able to have base in the Old Town out weighed the inconvenience of driving around looking for a parking spot.
• Eileen (9/5): Utterly unique and special - It is soooooooooo cool to stay here. The owners have gone to lots of trouble restoring the building and it feels very special to have your own steam room! The location is perfect - right in the middle of the old town but quiet and calm. The supply of coffee pods, water, lots of towels, etc were all appreciated. We also appreciate the recommendations of where to eat - spot on! Get rid of the robes - surely they only fit children. ;-)
• Lawrence (10/5): A wonderful accommodation in beautiful Rethymno - This is a stunning place to stay. It’s right in the old town pedestrian area. The building is wonderfully restored and very roomy. It’s be perfect for a group of friends as there are some gorgeous communal areas. Nothing!

Da das Hotel sehr zentral in der Altstadt liegt, kann man alle Restaurants und Geschäfte superschnell erreichen.Wir kommen wieder. Wasser war morgens nicht immer warm. Parken war schwierig. Da das Hotel mitten in der Altstadt liegt, muss man mit dem Koffer etwas gehen.

• Anne (9/5): What a pretty hotel, in a lovely location. - We had our own little apartment for an excellent price, with a beautifully hamam decorated bedroom with natural light from the velux window. It gave great ventilation and there was a fan and good aircon too. The bathroom was elegant and we tried out the Sauna as per our hosts instructions. The little kitchenette and sitting areas were modern and helpful and there was a large roof terrace to laze around on and have breakfast from the bakery around the corner. There was a useful clothes dryer on the terrace. Our host was very helpful and kind and the hotel is absolutely beautiful and in the old town centre. The filtered water was replaced daily, as were the bottled water, coffee pods and toiletries. Rethymo has wonderful vistas and museums and if you hop on and off of the tour bus you get to visit places away from the town too, the bathroom doesn't have a window so it is best to leave the door open when not in use.

• Mihai (10/5): - Locatie amplasata chiar in centru (interesant sa iesi pentru prima data din locatie si sa nu stii cu ce parte a orasului sa incepi). Locatia este intr-o cladire istorica, amenajata in stil Otoman. La plecare, un ghid era in fata intrarii povestind despre instoricul cladirii. Locuri de parcare gratuite in zona la 5-6 minute distanta (gazda se ocupa de indicatii). Sauna perfecta chiar si vara.

It was very hot when we arrived. The aircon and fan performed well. The man who welcomed us couldn’t do enough to help and was very genuine. I can’t think of a fault. Well done and thanks! Ricavato da un antico storico Hamman , ogni dettaglio arabeggiante è protetto e curato con attenzione ...ti trasmette un fascino raro. Il soggiorno è reso ancora più speciale dal continuo supporto del direttore Michalis, dalla disponibilità e dalla sincera benevolenza e professionalità. Davvero tutto così rilassante e bello. tutto da sogno. Grazie Da considerare il parcheggio nel vicino porto di Retyhymno come soluzione pratica e dal costo contenuto, soprattutto negli orari di punta balneari. La distanza è ridotta, ma purtroppo trovare un posto gratuito vicino alla struttura può risultare molto lungo e difficile, come accaduto al nostro arrivo.
• camilla (8/5): Soggiorno molto caratteristico in centro città - Struttura creata in quello che una volta era un hamam, ne conserva il fascino. Il personale è gentilissimo e ti suggerisce volentieri posti dove mangiare. Posizione top, centralissima.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful Restored Place - One of the favorite places we have ever stayed in! The place is beautifully restored and you feel like you are really staying in a historic place. We stayed in a room that had ample space and enjoyed staying in. There is a lovely balcony with a hot tub. There were two friendly cats that hung out with us on the balcony. The location was wonderful with being close to where we could park and still being in Old Town.

• Guy (10/5): Haman Oriental Suites...Suite Cyclamen - This first floor deluxe dome suite was amazing and so unique! It was way beyond our expectations! Nothing like we have ever stayed in before in all of our travels. The hosts were very friendly and helpful in explaining all of the amenities available in the room ... like the sauna (which we definitely used!) and gave us helpful hints as to where we should eat, see the sites and shop, etc.!! We give this hotel/suite a 10 plus and highly recommend it to everyone who would want to experience a very different, breathtaking, and relaxing stay while visiting Rethymno, Crete. Everything was perfect!!!

• Greg (10/5): Super unique and incredible experience!! - The room was absolutely amazing and comfortable and the staff were so incredibly helpful! They went above and beyond! Bring a sleep mask if you're in the suite with the dome if you want to sleep in because it gets a little light come in from the holes in the dome above but honestly it wasn't a big deal at all!

• Jessica (10/5): Hamam room is amazing! - I stayed in the hamam room and it was so worth it! Using a hamam is such a luxury. They provided robes, slippers and hamam towels. The dome has cutouts that let in natural light and created a warm ambiance. The bathroom shower was large with good water pressure. The room was also large. In hot weather, the many marble surfaces (floor and bench seats) offer a great place to get cool and relax. There's a phyllo dough factory a short walk down the alley opposite from the front door. I had the best baklava from them.
• Alina (10/5): Super Special Hotel - We had a lovely and well equipped room in the old hamam and really enjoyed our stay there. The hosts are very nice and happy to help. Located right in the middle of the old town, everything can be reached by foot.

• Jasmin (9/5): Absolutely Beautiful Place to Stay- Would Definitely Come Back! - The room was gorgeous, exactly like the pictures. Very spacious with beautiful tile work. The hamam was such a treat and staff took the time to explain how it works. We had late arrival and staff communicated well and made sure we were able to get into our room. Also provided many helpful restaurant recommendations. So thoughtful! Also provided beach towels upon request. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. Very nice bath products provided. Very convenient location in Old Town- a short walk to the beach and many great attractions. Not a huge issue but the shower doesn’t have a lip around the bottom, so when you shower the bathroom floor gets a bit wet.

• Ian (10/5): A fabulous experience better - This was a fabulous experience. The hotel is family run and their prime aim seems to be to keep this historic building in its remarkable state. Having one’s own steam bath in a beautifully preserved moorish room is something I will remember for along time Those sensitive to daylight may want to bring an eye mask as curtains or blinds are not feasible over the multiple small glass features in the beautiful roof. However lying there admiring it was very relaxing
• Jessie (10/5): Would give more than 5 stars, loved my stay as a solo traveller but would go back with friends too!! - Beautiful suite! Literally could not have asked for better layout, decor, and atmosphere of the suite and lobby. Right in the centre of Old Town and less than 10 minute walk from the main bus station, which was perfect because I had lots of luggage. The room felt like a small flat, so private and secure. (was constantly moving so unable to take many pictures). Only critique I have is that the sockets constantly overheated my chargers and devices, and took forever to charge.

• Faro_90 (9/5): Superb - Nice and clean b&b in the old city center of Rethymno. The location is fantastic and allow you to reach by walk any part of the old town. You cannot reach by car the structure, but a 10min by walk there is the Municipal Garden where you can find some space (free or paying). The rooms are clean and nice furnished, but some small details (due to usage, e.g. slow sink) should be improved. Sometime the wifi did not work.

• Matteo (9/5): Unique place - Wow, the room was fantastic and so unique. We took advantage of the hammam and having it in our room was simply incredible. The staff was super friendly, carefully told us understanding how the hammam works and helped us with all our requests, including keeping our luggage there while visiting the city and telling us the best places where to eat. Very quiet. Recommended! The room doesn't really have a window, but that's not a big deal
• Sophie (10/5): A beautiful experience that I would highly recommend. - The dome room was as expected, beautiful and unique. We arrived on one of the hottest days in Crete and the room was still mild and comfortable to stay in. Nothing. It was a perfect experience.
