Guest Reviews
- Brinn (10/5): - Great hosts. They made it simple & easy to check into the building & check out.
Great location to walk around the area. Close to the tower of Pisa as well. Very convenient that there are a couple restaurants and bars just below the room!
- Verified traveler (8/5): 1 night stay. - Good sized room and bathroom. Could be cleaner - there was alot of flies squashed on the white walls. Not very good communication from host - was waiting outside the building for them to send self check in details. Not what you want affer travelling. Good location, right in the middle - east access to tower, train station and airport
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Certainly a central location however do bring hear plugs as it is VERY loud with a bar/restaurant directly underneath. We found it very difficult to find the actual apartments too (however it was dark when we arrived). Had a speedy response by Sarah over WhatsApp and did receive check in instructions a few days before travel via email but before that I couldn’t get a response from the company over email which worried me. The room was lovely and modern, facilities were great however parts of the room were dirty (clump of hair on the pillow, stains on the mirror, bathroom needed to be wiped down and a shoe mark on the wall alongside the remains of a squashed fly. The stay was fine for the one night we were there, very very happy we brought ear plugs!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The location was good but the room was in poor condition and there many mosquitoes in our room, with dead bugs on the wall too!
- Morten (6/5): Bråk - Mye bråk da det er fult av utesteder i område under balkongen
Anbefales ikke hvis ikke du har tengt deg til å ta deg en fest
- Verified traveler (8/5): Comfortable Stay in a Good location - Great communication by the owners via WhatsApp - helped us find AwesHome and made us feel welcomed. Room was very comfortable and only a 2 minute walk from some fantastic wine bars and restaurants on the north bank of the river.
- William (2/5): This is not a Hotel ! This is a dirty scary place. - This is not a Hotel. There is no parking. There is no reception desk or customer services normally associated with a motel or hotel. The section of town where this is located is dirty and scary. DO NOT BOOK AT THIS PLACE !!!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Zentrale Unterkunft - Es war nicht einfach den check-in telefonisch und verlässlich zu organisieren. Ansonsten war alles ok.
- sandra (2/5): Awful - First, the picture of the room on expedia, was NOT AT ALL the room we got. There is no picture of that room anywhere. We had booked 2 nights and left after one because of the unbearable heat in this room. My son felt sick the entire night, we could not breath and we could not leave the windows open because a lot of people had access to the dirty back. The place where AC should be is a hole in the wall. The door of our room did not close properly. I contacted aweshome via email, claiming a refund for one night. To this day I have received NO ANSWER!
- Verified traveler (2/5): Wouldn't recommend - This is a room within a shared apartment above a busy area with a bar beside the entrance. It felt more like student accommodation. It had no air conditioning which made the room unbearable even with a fan. We had very little sleep and woke up to being bitten several times. Our Premium Double room was a good size, clean, with white bedding and white towels. There was a tv but we didn't use it. The shower room was a good size with hairdryer. I wouldn't recommend this accommodation for the following reasons; No air conditioning, Felt mislead by information on the website, Noisy location and being bitten.
- Fredrik (2/5): Bad experience!! - Apparently, one has to contact the hotel at least 24 hours in advance to get check-in instructions. We booked this hotel the same day we arrived and got greeted by a locked door. Phone calls got unanswered. My question to hotels.com is why this place even got listed in the search results if I want to book today and I have to contact the hotel 24 hours in advance?
- Baiba (6/5): Not what I expected - We called for the advertised airport transfer—no such thing in Pisa. We did arrive two hours early, but expected to be able to put our luggage somewhere safe and return later to
check in. Instead our host let us in to a kitchen with dirty dishes—this is when I realized this was a shared space. Then he took us into our uncleaned room and let us lock our luggage in there. By now I am quite upset, but he wanted to do the check in now.
When we returned, the room and kitchen were clean and we felt much better. There was no AC but they did provide a fan. Opening the window gave little air and the view out the window was also quite disgusting. We did meet a lovely family from another room, but the whole experience was a bit off putting. Nervous host who hadn’t started cleaning by noon. Really? Too expensive for what we got. Cannot call this a hotel—maybe a hostel?
- Samir (8/5): Nature and location. - This is not a hotel. It's a guest house or inn. It's clean, quite and located in a vibrant area. It has controlled access, but there is no front desk. You have to wait for the customer service to come and let you in and hand out the set of keys. There is no real breakfast. It's only crackers and jam.
- Aly (10/5): Great style and location - Perfect for a short break right in the centre of Pisa
The decor is beautiful, and the staff couldn’t be more helpful!
- JTolmz (8/5): Pisa Garden - The room was gorgeous! However, it was VERY hot and uncomfortable to sleep.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Do not stay here - Although this hotel is clean and in a good location, I would not stay here. As two professional young travelers, we have never experienced the lack of communication and the loud all night party sounds coming from below that this hotel (more like hostel) provided. We were told we could check in at 12, and after attempting to check in then and going back to hotel after exploring we were then told 2.. big difference. Our biggest problem was that no one told us we have to have a code to get back into hotel and we were locked out at 11pm. After countless calls and no answers we were forced to sit and wait for someone to come inside or for someone to answer the phone. It was a nightmare. Also we were not aware our bathroom was shared and that was a unpleasant surprise. Overall this place doesn’t know how to run a business and I wouldn’tstay there with all the other choices out there.
- Craig (8/5): Little piece of Pisa! - Booked on the off chance because of a stop over in Pisa, and we were pleasantly surprised at this little gem! Pretty much like a self sufficient B&B with only a few rooms. All simply but tastefully furnished and decorated. There is tea in the rooms, but no coffee. This isn’t a huge problem as the cafe right outside the front door, does fantastic coffee! Ideal
For taking back to the apartments and drinking on the terrace over looking the busy market square.
- Ece (10/5): Highly recomended - It was a such a nice and warm welcoming by hotel stuff, she was so helpful with our check in, and kids were really like the room we stayed in Dafna Suite which one is the biggest room with double bed and double sofa bed. Room was soo clean and had a nice terrace inside the room. We were all able to walk everywhere, only problem was on Saturday night because of the bar it was so noisy but we were so tired about all walking and so we all slept nicely.
