- The (5/5): Good location but room looks dated and needs improving. Consider newer hotels/inns in the area. - One of the things that I love about this Inn is its location. Walking distance to the bus terminal, burnham park, SM, exactly located in session road, within the city center. I appreciate the fact that they have an elevator as well. The room looks dated. The bed for 2 guests is so small. The comforter/bed linens are so thin. Visible water leak stains on the ceiling and wall. Visible termite house along the edges of the ceiling walls. The lights were so dim, more like a 5 watt light bulb was used. There were only 2 pillows provided and we had to pay Php30 for additional pillows. There was no bidet which wasn't a big dead but they also din't provide a pale/bucket which makes having no bidet a big deal. We had to use/get water from the sink (coz it's closer to the toilet bowl) using a ladle which was gross. The ceiling also had a strong leak during our stay (it was raining almost the entire time) which soaked some of our belongings :(. The location is impressively good but other than that, nothing more. Considering other new hotels/inns in the same location, I think La Brea Inn needs to improve their facilities. It was also tiresome to leave the keys to the front desk every time we need to go out. Security issues, they didn't check for my ID when we checked in. We had to leave the keys to the front desk on 4th floor every time we go out and our room is on the 6th floor.

- Harthwell (1/5): Bad - The area is accessible as it is only along the Session Road. La Brea Inn has to improve especially on the health and hygiene aspects. There were molds and mildew in the toilet, including its walls. There were flies inside the room, including dusts everywhere in the room - on the curtains, on the mattress, bed frames, walls, switches, cupboards, everywhere. Because of these, I had cough and colds triggering respiratory issues. There were two lights busted in the room and only one bulb was working.
- Alfonso (4/5): Does not recommend - No air conditioning. Toilet gets clog up easily and leaking water when flushed. You have to walk up to second floor to use elevator to the hotel.

- Marie Fredeleine (8/5): - Quite old facility but then if you just use it for sleeping after a day's tour around Baguio this is already a good choice. Staff are all friendly even the owners. Free use of utensils, mugs plates, etc and you can have unlimited refills of purified water and hot water. It has its own La Brea Cafe & Resto which offers affordable and delicious food. The owner is very approachable and friendly, chit chats with customers. Location is very good since this is along lower session road and near establishments and loading and unloading zones for taxi. Needs a bit of room repainting and refurbishing of its comfort/rest rooms and then this will be VERY GOOD.
