- Verified traveler (10/5): Gorgeous unit - One of the best accommodations we've ever stayed at! The unit overlooks a beautiful view to the water with private access. The place felt brand new, and tastefully designed. Very recommended for a romantic getaway! Hope we'll find a reason to come back!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautifully appointed accommodation.
- Darren (10/5): - Great accommodation. Very clean and tidy. Great spot. Wildlife wandering round the yard. Handy to Dunalley centre.
- Malcolm (6/5): - Whilst the prioerty was reasonable it wasnt private frim the 2nd unit especially if accessing the beach
- Rebecca (10/5): Fantastic - Great communication with the host, very clean and such a beautiful location.
- Emma (10/5): - We had an amazing stay at this property for our friends wedding, it was so nice to be able to relax away from it all in this piece of paradise :)
- Heather (10/5): - Hidden gem!! This was one of our favorite spots we’ve stayed in Tasmania. Super clean, very quiet, and stunning scenery. Wish we could have stayed more than one night. Simply perfect.
- Gai (10/5): - We loved this property due to its close location to the Tasman Peninsula & all that has to offer from a holiday perspective. We also loved the cottage itself - it was very clean, compact with lovely big windows out to the water. We are glad we chose to stay here as it gave us opportunity to explore another area of Tasmania a little more closely.
- Peggy (8/5): - The fauna on the property was a delight to see.
- Shaun (10/5): - Comfortable, quiet location close to ammenities
- Andrew (6/5): - It's newish and well maintained but except of Hotel nearby it's in Dunalley which as a locality offers nothing except it is on the road to Port Arthur. It is not a 'beachside' location although the water is there and it's next to busy highway. Generally overpriced for what it is, really just a cabin far from anything interesting. 'For Sale' sign on property tells the tale.
- John (10/5): - Absolutely beautiful studio! So relaxing, waking up to gorgeous views and birds!
- Bjorn (8/5): - Very cosy
- Melanie (10/5): - Fantastic place from the location to the cozy studio. Great amenities too!
- Tyler (10/5): - Easy checkin and good location and very helpful folder full of local things to do
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A beautiful property, with everything we needed.
- Shane (8/5): - By the water! & close to our destination
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location to base yourself to explore Port Arthur & surrounds, great little studio with lovely furnishings. Nice to have a fire! Would have liked more kitchen facilities as there are aren’t a lot of food options nearby - local pub is ok, and the nearby winery is lovely but only open for lunch. Everything else in the area was closed on the days we were there. Kitchen just has a microwave and a portable hot plate you can plug in. There was also a fair bit of noise from the road as it’s right next to a major road.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Serendipity!!
This place is perfect if you are after something a little unique and secluded. Loved it- best place we stayed the whole trip.
- Bernadette (10/5): Fantastic - Beautiful modern cottage with a fire place and water views. Was absolutely amazing and would recommend to anyone.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful stay in a beautifully decorated place (even better than the photos), and easy walk onto the beach. Road noise is as expected. Highly recommend a few nights here.
- Rick (10/5): - What a classy littlenpad. This was a really surprising bit of seaside luxury. Very handy to the centre of town!

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Absolutely fantastic place to stay, beautiful views and wonderful people looking after you
- Verified traveler (10/5): - View was great to wake up too, property was superb and had everything you could ever need
- Anthony (10/5): Perfect place to stay in the heart of top sights - A wonderful modern cottage on a little cliff overlooking Dunalley Bay. Very close to attractions on the Tasman Peninsula and just an hour away from the ferry to Maria Island. Beautifully decorated and very welcoming. I honestly wish I had booked another night rather than moving up the coast for our visit to Maria, as the drive back would have been very easy.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful, clean property overlooking the ocean! Easy to get to, close to Port Arthur and other tourist destinations and a gorgeous drive from Hobart. We loved our stay!
- Bec (10/5): - Well contained studio, lovely feel and gorgeous view. The colour of the water was beautiful. The kitchenette provided everything we needed to feel at home.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great spot nice apartment good facilities. Host good communication
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great place though it required personal contact to ensure access and check in. The only downside was highway noise and bamboo curtains that didn’t afford complete privacy. Would stay here again and recommend.
- dianne (10/5): Lovely outlook over the water - Chose Dunalley because it is between Port Arthur and Hobart and it's a lovely location. This accommodation has recently been built and has all you need. Very modern and the owner has thought of everything to make the stay very comfortable.
- dan and tish (10/5): beautiful studio in great location - Absolutely beautiful new studio -beautifully equipped, spectacular view -best sunrise we have ever seen. Great location between Hobart and Port Arthur with some wonderful eating places close by. Many thoughtful touches by host. Very highly recommended.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautifully located right on Dunalley Bay. - You can lie in bed and look out through the full-wall window directly to the garden and bay. Nice and private.
The owner, who lives off-site, went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. Thanks Gai!
Flotsam is an easy 30 minute drive to Port Arthur Historical site.
- Liegh & Diane (10/5): Close to many tourist places and has water views. - It had great views, relaxing , close to all the tourist places down south, eg. Port Arthur, Trahanne air walk, Bruny Isand, Tasman sea ocean views were amazing and lots more. Great communication from owner. She recommended that we food shop before arrival. Dunalley pub meals were beautiful. Accommodation had everything you needed plus more.
- Corinna (10/5): Beautiful little spot! - What a wonderful spot to relax. The studios are very well organised and have everything you could possibly need. They are very clean and fresh. We would highly recommend a stay here.
