Guest Reviews
- Jannine (6/5): - Enjoyed a different part of Ha Noi. Line was very warm & hospitable as host. Furnishings are pretty. Many areas, especially upstairs outdoor lounge were very unclean & needed wiping & sweeping to use, so we didn't, which is unfortunate as the lake view from roof is lovely. I'm not sure how hotels get a particular star rating. We usually stay in 3***hotels and this is not that. Very simple, basic abode, more a rooming house as no one lives there, so not a home as such. Rather difficult if a problem occurs to contact staff. I would rate it 1* given : no in room safe, minimal toiletries, water in glass bottle, old and inoperable air conditioner as settings cannot be changed, flimsy window glass allows outside traffic noise, shower pressure low & bathroom/toilet wet after use. I wouldn't stay here again, very overpriced for what is provided.
- Julia (10/5): - Nice house and pretty decorated rooms with a personal touch. The host Lihn, is very friendly and helps with anything you need to make your trip enjoyable!
- Donald (10/5): Quiet, peaceful side of Hanoi - This hotel was one of our best decisions in Vietnam. From the moment we arrived we knew it was right for us. Our host was warm, friendly, knowledgeable and caring. Her advice opened doors to experience another side of Hanoi. We had loved our first two days in the old quarter however, moving to Millan house introduced us to the peaceful side of Hanoi whilst still being close to everything. It was a wonderful place to base ourselves. Coming back after noisy, busy days was like coming home. Within 100 metres we tasted the best coconut coffee of our trip, discovered a quaint bookshop where we purchased 2 classic books set in Vietnam. and had plenty of small, character laden eating and drinking choices to relax and reflect on our days and plan the next phase of our journey. The view from our character filled room was also one of the highlights.
