Guest Reviews
- Randy (10/5): Awesome Place for the Races - We was in town for the August night races at Bristol. Our host was extremely nice at check in. We booked. room with a shared bathroom, but never had ny problems accessing it for showers or to freshen up before leaving for the races. We are on a Keto diet and our host made sure we had an awesome breakfast every morning. But I'll say I was about to go off the diet when I was the amazing waffles and pancakes she prepared.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - A beautiful old home filled with antiques. We had a wonderful (huge) breakfast. The hostess was very accommodating. We will definitely be back.
- Mike (10/5): Excellent home - Wonderful home and host. If you are in the area, it is worth the stay.
- Lynn (10/5): - The owner of the inn was very gracious and accommodating. I would recommend this inn to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area and will stay here again the next time I visit.
- Donna (10/5): - The unique construction, location, food and comfort!
- lola (10/5): Southern Hospitality at it's Best! - Wow! Did not know what to expect. This olace had great reviews, but the pictures were hard to read. Well, there was no need to worry....this place waa AMAZING! Beautiful wood walls, doors and ceilings took me on a nostalgic trip back to my childhood with reminders of my grandma's and mom's house. The host were beyond sweet and catered to every detail. The room was clean, bed was comfy, the bathrrom spacious, and the food was REMARKABLE!!!! I cant wait to return and take family/ friends back to experience this jewel!!!
- RCM (10/5): - The location is great and convenient for my ability to finished my last set of AT sectional hikes in Virginia.
- James (10/5): Great Getaway! - Charming B&B. It was our second stay there. The homemade breakfasts are the best for content and variety. Kathleen is great!
- randall (8/5): - Beautiful old home. Very well taken care of. DIdn't like having to lock the front door all the time after ourselves. They need a different door with a combination lock which will make security better and easire.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice place to stay. Quiet and clean, excellent breakfasts.
- Patrick (10/5): The perfect place to stay - It was a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the front porch swing. Meals and accommodations were great. They went out of their way for us. We’re both diabetic and they made special meals just for us.
- Shelley (10/5): - We will definitely be back! Beautiful historic home. The breakfast was unbelievable! It was so quiet. The place was full and we never heard another guest. Location is great, right in Damascus but secluded and quiet at the same time.
- James (10/5): A Comfortable And Memorable Stay - The home was both historic and beautiful! The woodwork in the house was amazing! Kathleen attended to our needs and our comfort the entire time, and her breakfasts were delicious!
- Henry (10/5): - Lots of antiques. Great breakfast. Attentive owners.
- Carol (10/5): - My first experience with a bed and breakfast far exceeded my expectation. As a motorcycle enthusiast, I traveled to Damascus, VA to travel the beautiful, and challenging, roads. Staying at The Mountain Laurel Inn made the experience even better. At the inn, you will be greeted as a new family member, stopping by to visit and relax. After a day of motorcycle riding, I came home to relax on either the front porch rocking chairs, or the upstairs patio. However, the breakfast served, was the most pleasant surprise. The eggs benedicts are phenomenal, as well as, the special waffles topped with fresh fruit! The hosts of the inn are wonderful folks to spend some time with. And, I appreciate their hospitality. I will see you again!

- Amy (10/5): - The Inn is full of history and charm. We ate a wonderful breakfast both mornings. The inn keepers are so friendly and made great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. We will definitely be going back some day.
- Mandi (10/5): - Fantastic! Delicious breakfast (served with a side of excellent humor), comfy accommodations, spot-on recommendations for activities/dinner. Looking forward to another stay!
