• Bruno (9/5): Superb - The house was cute and cozy, very good for a couple of days stay. For those who like animals there's a lot of cats around and you can also walk around Chão Sobral and enjoy nature. The house is well eqquipped and the bbq appliances we're very good which we enjoyed using. The host was very helpful with giving sugestions of things to do around and visit and also with which roads to follow by car. Chão Sobral is somewhat remote, so you need to verify very well which roads the gps (for example google maps) because some roads are only good for 4x4, Thanks again for the host for letting us know beforehand. Even though the kitchen is well equipped it needed a few more cloth napkins to dry the dishes.

• Vitor (10/5): Replacing beautiful stone house with modern feautures - Beautiful stone house fitted with great modern spec. Super quaint and peaceful location, great to recharge, take in the views and enjoy a glass of wine by the fire. There’s also lots to see, friendly locals and Claudia is a great host and very responsive. Would def stay again.
• Mark (8/5): A unique experience - Beautifully renovated stone cottage. Fully equipped with everything you’d need. Loved the mountain scenery and the peace and quiet. A winding road to get there and no restaurants or shop in the village - but the remoteness is what makes it special.

• Marla (10/5): Exactly what we wished for on our holiday - This is exactly what we were looking for, quaint sparkling clean and in the middle of nowhere. Love the house, everything is brand new and functions perfectly. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need, the shower has tons of hot water good pressure and comfy bed. Did I mention the fireplace and the charming church bells and the man that sells fresh bread from his truck? We did a wonderful 10k walk through the shisht villages. Truly one of the most beautiful walks ever. Ended it with a yummy meal in Piodao. Visited a gorgeous indigenous forest and waterfall. Be sure to stock up on groceries before you arrive. The drive here is not for the faint hearted. I got used to it and that is the true beauty. Enjoy, we sure did! It would be useful to be able to wash my clothes. Other than that perfect.
• Beth (9/5): Gorgeous modern accommodations in a beautiful historic, stone home - The accommodations were gorgeous and immaculate. Everything was very comfortable, private, and quiet. The location was the only drawback. There nearest restaurants were 25 minutes away (about 10 km on a mountain road) in Piodao.
