• freewillydp (8/5): Wir können das Hotel trotz – oder vielleicht gerade wegen – seines besonderen Konzepts empfehlen - Das Restay Hiroshima Hotel liegt relativ zentral, wenn auch nicht direkt bei den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Es handelt sich um ein sogenanntes Stundenhotel („Love Hotel“), das aber keineswegs mit europäischen Vorstellungen verglichen werden sollte. In Japan gehören solche Hotels durchaus zur Kultur und sind meist eher luxuriös oder gehoben ausgestattet statt schäbig oder unhygienisch. Das Hotel wird auch häufig von ganz normalen westlichen Touristen genutzt. Der Check-in verlief problemlos, obwohl kaum Englisch gesprochen wurde. Positiv sind auch die kostenlosen Parkplätze (ca. 6–9 Plätze). Dafür muss man allerdings den Autoschlüssel an der Rezeption abgeben und mitteilen, wann das Auto am nächsten Tag benötigt wird, da die Fahrzeuge entsprechend umgeparkt werden. Die Zimmer waren sauber und für japanische Verhältnisse angenehm groß. Besonders nett fanden wir die kostenlosen kleinen Extras an der Rezeption, wie Kuchen sowie Rot- und Weißwein zum Mitnehmen aufs Zimmer. Wir waren zwei Nächte dort und können das Hotel trotz – oder vielleicht gerade wegen – seines besonderen Konzepts empfehlen. Preislich nicht ganz günstig, aber für Hiroshima und unsere Reisezeit letztlich völlig in Ordnung. Etwas ungewohnt ist allerdings das Konzept bei Aufenthalten über mehrere Nächte: Man muss täglich auschecken und kann erst ab 18:00 Uhr wieder einchecken, da die Zimmer tage- bzw. stundenweise vermietet werden. Nach Absprache darf das Gepäck jedoch problemlos im Zimmer bleiben.

• Masaki (7/5): 初の 大人専用ホテルのビジネスホテルユース - 部屋が広い、ビジネスホテルに比べて安い、お風呂がひろい アクセスも中心街から近くてよかった 18時以降でないとチェックインできないこと、また2日目以降も18時までは入室できない それ以前に入室したい場合は、所謂休憩料金を求められるとのこと 2日目ベッドシーツの交換や部屋の清掃をお願いしたのだが、床上に長い髪の毛が何本も落ちていた

It was a little strange talking to the clerk behind frosted glass, and only being able to see his hands and leaving the key when you leave. But the staff was always super friendly.

• annAB (10/5): Great place for grown-ups. - Yes it's an adult hotel and there are lots of "extras" available in the lobby, but it was clean, comfortable, and affordable. It was a little strange talking to the clerk behind frosted glass, and only being able to see his hands. And leaving the key when you leave. But the staff was always super friendly. There are desserts and other freebies also available. Including bath salts and lotions. I would definitely stay again. The clerk hiding behind the froster glass.

• yoshinori (9/5): くつろぐことができました - 最寄りの電停から徒歩３分ほどで、商店街やコンビニも近いので便利でした。 浴室とベッドが大きくて防音もしっかりしているので、ビジネスホテルよりもくつろぐことができました。 禁煙の部屋はないとのことでしたが、煙草の臭いは気にならなかったので入室前に消臭していただいたかもしれません。 設備がすべて新しいわけではありませんが、清掃はきちんとされており快適に過ごすことができました。 ホテルの構造上、フロント前で利用者が顔を合わせる機会があるのが少し気まずいくらいです。 また防音はしっかりしていますが、隣室で大音量でカラオケを歌われると曲名がわかる程度には聞こえてきました。

• TAKASHI (9/5): Good! - 室内が広い。風呂が広く、トイレも独立している。テレビの画面が大きい。空気清浄機が設置されていた。シャンプー等いろいろな種類があった。市内中心部から近かった。禁煙ルームを希望できた。食事できる場所が、近くにいっぱいあった。 駐車場が狭そうだった。エアコンのリモコンが固定されていて、位置が悪かった。

• KENICHIRO (10/5): - 今回初めて宿泊させてもらいました。 チェックインも事前に遅くなる連絡をして対応してもらいましたし、受付の方の対応も丁寧でとても良い感じでしたよ。 車での宿泊で受付にはキーを預けないといけなかったのですが、出入りする時間を伝えていれば、車の入替をしてもらってスムーズに出庫させてもらいました。 駐車場込みでの価格でならコスパも良く、カップルなら、下手なビジネスホテルよりも部屋もお風呂も広くて綺麗で立地も自分達には便利でした。 ありがとうございます。
• Laurence (10/5): - This is an older, but well-maintained property. The rooms are much bigger and better equipped than the equivalently-priced business or tourist hotel. No restaurant, but very reasonably priced meals can be ordered in the room, mainly through a Japanese-only TV system. Staff were very helpful with extra towels, parking issues, and meals were delivered punctually at the requested time. Drawback: absolutely no view of anything, as all windows are curtained and shuttered. It helps to know the custom in Japanese adult-only hotels: privacy is paramount! You see no front-desk staff, and if other customers happen to show up, you don't "see" them.

• Markus (6/5): - Das Hotel hat eigentlich alles was man braucht. Die Strassenbahn wie auch der Bus sind gut erreichbar. Für uns war es etwas ungewöhnlich, da dieses Hotel ein Love-Hotel ist und die Rezeption, sehr diskret hinter eine Milchscheibe befindet und der Pass durch eine kleine Öffnung hindurchgereicht wird. Wir fanden es eigentlich noch sehr lust. Was uns gestört hat war, dass es anscheinend nur Raucherzimmer gibt.
