Attitude to everything bad now in Thailand. Greed is in the eyes of Thai.

As a large family the room was perfect size, even 3 toilets in one room which is just what we needed! Plug socks next to the bed, comfortable, privacy curtains around each bed, the location was perfect and massive food market at the end of the road.

Nos alojamos en una habitación de 10 personas, muy espaciosa para todas las personas. Había tres baños y dos duchas lo que hacía que fuera muy cómoda la estancia. Las instalaciones del hotel eran muy buenas y agradables, y los trabajadores estaban atentos a los huéspedes en todo momento. Contratamos un tour desde el hotel y fue perfecto.

- Richard (9/5): “Modern en ruim hostel met zwembad, vriendelijk personeel en perfecte ligging aan de rand van het oude centrum van Chian - Aan de zuidoostrand van het oude centrum van Chiang Mai ligt Postel, een modern hostel met familiekamers en een klein zwembadje – precies groot genoeg voor de kinderen om lekker af te koelen. Wij hadden een kamer op de eerste verdieping met zes bedden, lockers, drie toiletten en twee douches. Meer kun je eigenlijk niet wensen. Voor onze deur was een halletje met wat spullen, en via de keuken liep je door naar een balkonnetje waar je ’s avonds heerlijk kon zitten. Toen wij er waren, was het niet druk en leek het alsof we de hele verdieping voor onszelf hadden. Superveel ruimte dus, mét zwembad. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en gaf ons veel tips over markten en bezienswaardigheden. Ze regelden ook telkens de rode taxi’s voor onze uitstapjes, zoals de watervallen, Doi Suthep en een fietstocht bij Co van Kessel. De buurt zelf is rustig, maar op twee straten afstand sta je in de levendigheid van markten, avondmarkten en weekendmarkten. Alles is lopend te doen, maar taxi’s zijn spotgoedkoop voor wie niet wil lopen. Na een paar dagen voelde het er bijna luxe: ontbijtje pakken, kop koffie drinken en genieten van de ontspannen sfeer. Een absolute aanrader! Ka we hadden wel een soort van histelsetting. Maar voor ons was dat op dat moment prima.

- Andrea (10/5): A fabulous place to stay near Old Town in Chiang Mai: a quiet street and a wonderful location! - We were happy to have found this little place - it was great. As a family of 5 we booked all 6 beds in one of the dorms and it was great for us: the room was comfortable and spacious, the beds were very cozy and clean (the sheets were fabulously soft), the towels were lovely and soft, the 3 toilets and 2 showers in the room were appreciated, and we made good use of the kitchen to prepare some meals (no stove top though: only a microwave, sink, and kettle). Staff were friendly, and the place had a nice relaxed atmosphere and pleasant decorations. We stayed twice and enjoyed our time very much. Clever features in each bed area like USB plugs and swing-down writing surfaces were a nice touch. The location was great - close to Old Town and yet on a quiet road. We loved how we could walk to morning markets, get a massage at Lila Thai Massage (highly recommended), or walk to the Sunday Night Market. Everything is so accessible when you stay here. Highly recommended. Nothing - it was great

Decorated with a lot of taste in the Thai pure tradition. Everything was perfect, but the only thing I could say, is that I rented a room because it Was advertised with balcony and it Was Not possible, or forbidden to access the balcony. But other than that this place is fabulous.

- Kari (8/5): Great location, wish we’d had a different roo - Staff was kind and very helpful. The desk workers went out of their way to help us find some unique souvenirs we were looking for. We were placed in room 3. Unfortunately the room’s wall of windows opens onto a balcony shared with the kitchen, and it was used as a daycare space for the cleaner everyday. While the kids were overall not too loud, it was annoying to be woken up by them both in the morning and when we tried to nap in the afternoon. The pool water was so cold we weren’t able to swim.

A little noisy with other guests (mostly families with young children) but that didn’t bother me. Communal kitchen with a fridge. Free tea, coffee and toast available. Small pool - clean but no beds so not a place for anyone who wants to sun bathe but nice seating area next to the reception.

It’s not really meant to be the cardholder paying this fee and I saw no such notice when making the booking. The room was ok but the shower was hard to use and in the middle of the Fillmore but no drama.

Staff was lovely and helped us to book a last minute elephant excursion. Took advantage of the laundry service which was priced a bit high but they got all the stains out of my white shirt from the khao soi. Location was excellent, and we loved exploring the area, especially the museum Of makers around the corner. The pool deck was very slippery with some sharp edges. Just be careful out there! Would have loved a real coffee maker vs instant.

- Chris (9/5): Great Stay - Would Recommend - Very nice room and comfortable beds. Great perk to have an en suite bathroom in a hostel dorm and to have kitchen facilities! Had to ask for the room to be cleaned after 3 days but other than that nice and clean
- Vita (9/5): Superb - The staff was great, we liked the common kitchen with some light breakfast provided, the room was of a good size. The room is only cleaned if you ask for that. The water in the pool is super cold.
- Julien (9/5): Superb - This place is really peaceful and so charming. We loved our stay, and it's pretty close to everything you need, but without the noise. Room really clean, good wifi, and the pool is super nice after a day hiking.

We stayed in room 9 on the fourth floor and you have to take the stairs as there is no lift but it wasn’t a big deal for us at all. The room was exactly as pictured and very clean. Small fridge and coffee and tea. Nice kitchen area on the second floor with coffee, tea, toast and fruit every morning. Shower was great and hot water was wonderful. AC worked great too. I’d definitely stay here again.

- Sarah (10/5): The best hostel I've ever been to! - The staff, atmosphere, quietness, free fruit and breakfast supplies, everyday room service, the price, the guitar!!! Nothing.
- Sam (8/5): Great stay - Location was great, close to markets and not very far to walk into center. Staff were lovely and allowed us to leave bags in reception before and after check in/out. Drinking water supplied daily. Really quick laundry service. In the twin room you could hear pigeons on the roof every morning. Shower wasn't that warm.

- Kevin (9/5): Superb - Superb boutique hotel on a quiet street within easy walking distance of the centre of the old town and the night markets. Fantastic penthouse room, very stylish. Breakfast not included but complimentary bread, jam, coffee provided in the communal kitchen.

- Laura (8/5): Modern, tranquil, felt like we were immersed in the local neighbourhood - It was really clean, we liked the atmosphere and vibe was really relaxing. The interior design was modern and the location was good. Thé breakfast was a bit basic- depending upon if you prefer to eat in at your place of accomodation.
- Klaudia (8/5): calm, comfortable place to stay in Chiang Mai - Hostel has a very chill out vibe. It is fairly clean, comfortable and located very closely to the most important spots. There are some common areas where you can sit and talk with other guests. Pool area could be cleaner and could have more seats to spank time at.
