Also loved the bed, and there were plenty of blankets It would have been helpful to have some oil for cooking, the pans supplied were not non stick and having never used an induction stove before, it was easy to burn things. A fan in the bedroom would have been great too

Was nice to soak in the bath. Even though we were in the country, it didn't take long to get into Hamilton. The wifi connection wasn't the best.
• Elise (9/5): Comfortable stay in the country - Beautiful and clean, amazingly cozy, lots of room and comfy beds. I like to cook so a few small things to help like chopping boards would be great. Large couch was a bit uncomfortable but these are really very small things overall we loved our stay.

• Jamie (9/5): Very comfortable. - We really liked the location as it was nice and quiet but still accessible to Hamilton city if you had a car. We went to Hamilton to enjoy the restaurants there but it didn't feel like a long way to get home (about 15mins). The property was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and the property had a nice kitchen and bathroom. Everything we look for in our accommodation choices. We are a family of 4 and were very happy staying here and would stay here again. We loved the fly screens on all the windows too. Hosts live next door, but apart from a friendly welcome left us to our own devices. Towels were a bit small, we are used to bath sheets.

• Crystal (10/5): Country living on Raynes road - We throughly enjoyed our stay at Country living on Raynes Road. It was clean, cosy and felt homely. We would definitely stay here again. We loved everything about the accommodation.
• Sharee (8/5): Country living - Great facilities with a beautiful bath. The beds were comfy and it was a quiet location with a country outlook. You need to take your own toiletries, there was only liquid hand soap provided.

• Kevin (10/5): A most enjoyable stay at this property and would recommend it to other travellers - The accommodation was easily accessible in a rural setting and just far enough from the city of Hamilton. It provided us with lots of room to move about, a comfortable bed, sizeable bathroom and garage car parking. Internal access to a washing machine was also appreciated as well as being able to line dry. Our host Joanne was very helpful in welcoming us and getting us settled.

• Wendy (9/5): Country close to town - A modern spacious property with adequate kitchen facilities. Lovely to have the cattle grazing nearby. Excellent to have washer, dryer and clothesline available for use. The heat pump is set on 20°, too cold for comfort. Beautiful bath but it was not clean. Lacking the added touches that would give it a higher score such as soap and shampoo. It would be good to have chairs on the deck to enjoy the morning sun.

• wai (8/5): - Beautiful location value for money love the bathroom and space throughout the house Air-conditioning doesn't really help in winter months especially in evenings, I found the bedroom cold, may help if you could adjust temperature to accommodate this. Would be nice to have some outdoor chairs on deck to get to enjoy view and sun.
• Deborah (7/5): Good communication and friendly host. Nice location - Nice area, paddocks surrounded the property. Spacious with good parking. Friendly host, modern house, powerful shower and a bath tub. Softer blankets would have been a bonus and larger towels.
• Anis (8/5): - I like how clean the place is 1. The wifi kept on dissappear, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. 2. As someone who lives in a country with summer all year long, setting the temperature at 20°C is too cold for my family and I. The host also doesn't give us the option to change the setting. Even if i increase the temperature, it will get back to 20°C.

• Lucky (7/5): Comfortable but some things weren't the best. - The beds where very comfy and it's was super handy to be able to wash ur clothes. Enjoyed the stay overall just a few things that makes the price your paying a bit to much for what you're getting. (bad day/week for them maybe) There were alot of dead flies in the bathroom laying all over the ground by the bathtub and shower. Wifi was also not working 80% of the time we where there.
• Jaspreet (9/5): Awesome stay - We loved the house, particularly its cleanliness. It was quiet and had plenty of space for the children to play, especially with the toys that kept them busy. My husband appreciated having a garage for his car. The facilities were excellent, with a washing machine and dryer available, and there were enough towels for everyone. During our stay, we experienced some internet issues. On the first day, it only worked for a few minutes before completely stopping. The next day, we reached out for help, and we really appreciated that they came immediately to fix it. However, I believe the internet problems were due to the house being located in a rural area. On the bright side, this gave us a good reason to spend time away from our phones. Another issue we encountered was that the shower water leaked onto the tiles, which was quite annoying and made it difficult for the children. It also created a mess that was hard to clean up later.
• Kristin (10/5): We will definitely book this place again. - The property was immaculate and quiet. The beds were comfortable (and all the furniture, in general). It was very easy to get to. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. We had a power outage one afternoon/evening from an auto accident that hit a power pole down the street. The host brought us bottles of water until the power returned. It was only out for 5 hours, but it was incredibly thoughtful of her to drop those off. I like to cook, so I usually think kitchens could be better stocked at rentals like this, but it was nothing out of the ordinary.
• Billy (8/5): Overall, decent stay but bring your own internet if you need it - Large bathroom, bed was very comfortable. Kitchen utensils covered all of the basics that you need to prepare a meal. Nice and quiet - and the local livestock was nice to see (cows, horses). The lounge room chairs had a relatively unpleasant odour, and the bathroom had some black specks on the ceiling along with chipping paint. The wifi was terrible, particularly in the evening - bad connections and we had to put our international roaming on to hotspot and stay connected. While we enjoyed the rural look, we did not expect that the cattle would be fed right near our windows so that we then had to smell the manure that accompanied feeding time. We were not expecting that, and it should be clear that this is what it is, and it is not.

Loved that I could park my car in the garage. Internal access to property. Even though the hosts live next door, it was still quiet, and I had my own privacy. Cleaning standards were not great. There were flies flying around when I arrived. There were also dead flies on the floor and windowsill. There was hair in the bathtub and on the bathroom floor. The rubbish had not been emptied from the person before me. The fridge had crumbs and food that had not been wiped

• Terrie (10/5): Excellent accommodation without paying too much - They have everything we need. The house is very clean inside and has peaceful outdoors. We were able to relax and have a good time. I like that we can check in and check out very easily and without having to meet anyone. The instructions were pretty clear and they have a manual that answered our questions. No rugs in the bathroom.

Lovely, friendly, accommodating hosts. Rain water. Screen on the windows. Décor & nice clean lines. Access to laundry. Just a couple of things that weren't really major. We did found that not having transport & having travelled by plane from the South Island it made it difficult to get to a supermarket or shop. It was also difficult to work the dryer so instructions would of been good.

Beautiful bath but I had an accident so wasn’t able to use it. Hopefully next visit. Washer, dryer and dishwasher were great to have and easy to operate. It was a bonus having a garage on those icy mornings so I didn’t have to defrost the windscreen. The puppy was adorable and loved seeing cows and chickens. I feel the cold so found the air conditioner not warm enough but plenty of blankets to rug up. It would be good to have a couple more tea towels and hand towels as the signs said not to wash the linen.

• Jessica (6/5): Pleasant - Away from other people and would be good for a family. Although pictured, you actually can't use the fireplace, and they have moved the couches in front of it - there were a lot of cobwebs - so clearly it's not an option. This was very disappointing becuase it was the main reason we booked this place. Also the temperature in the house can only be set between 22 - 24c and it takes a while to heat up. Pillows were not good but the bed was fine.
• Tangata (10/5): Amazing stay! - I have been here regularly over the past three years, and I love it just as much. Its a great space. Would recommend to families and alike. This will be our place we always come back to in the future. There isnt much not to like about this space. Its great for parking, great for families, great for winter, great for summer and outdoor eating. We love it.
