• Damien (10/5): A Perfect Venetian Retreat in Venice’s Charming Cannaregio District - We had a fantastic stay in the Cannaregio district of Venice. The apartment overlooked Campo S. Marziale, and waking up each morning to that view was a real highlight. Perfectly located, it was close to all the sights, bars, restaurants, and everything Venice has to offer, yet just far enough away from the incredible hustle and bustle to feel peaceful and truly relaxing. The apartment itself was beautifully appointed, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel like a home away from home. Comfortable, stylish, and in an ideal location, it was the perfect base for exploring this amazing city. Highly recommended, we would happily stay here again.
• Jannet (9/5): Very enjoyable and comfortable. - The apartment was clean and comfortable, and tastefully decorated. It has been ingeniously converted with good-quality fixtures and fittings. The location is quiet but only about 50m from a picturesque little fondamenta with a wide choice of restaurants and an excellent gelateria. It is also only 7 mins walk to a vaporetto stop served by the no. 2, which stops at only a few places in its progress down the Grand Canal (something you appreciate when you've done it on the slower no. 1). I was fine in the main bedroom on my own, but as there is no storage space (or room to leave an opened suitcase) it would be inconvenient for two people who also had someone staying in the small bedroom (where there are drawers under the bed and a small wardrobe). So the place is fine for couples, but would be tricky with three adults.
• Maria Del Carmen (9/5): Bien ubicado y tranquilo - Buena ubicación. Muy tranquilo. Limpio. Las camas son cómodas. Apartamento agradable y luminoso La ducha es pequeña y antigua. Pagamos a través del hospedador la tasa turística pero no nos explicaron que había que solicitar una excepción(por estar alojado en Venecia) a través de la página del ayuntamiento. Cuando llegamos en bus, cansados, al intentar entrar desde la plaza de Roma por el puente nos pararon y tardamos más de una hora en arreglarlo. Es verdad que escribí a mi anfitrión y contestó en seguida pero hubiera preferido unas instrucciones más claras.
• Karina (9/5): Great location, bright & clean - The apartment was easy to find from Piazzale Roma, with clear instructions for check-in. It’s clean, bright, and offers lovely views of the canal. The location is fantastic and pretty quiet, yet just steps from shops, restaurants, bacari, and three supermarkets. Light switches for the stairs are conveniently located by the entrance and at the top, contrary to what a previous reviewer mentioned. We were able to walk to most attractions, and there are two vaporetto stops on the Canal Grande within 10 min walk. The beds were a little firm but comfortable. Overall, it’s a cozy and well-located apartment, we would happily stay here again. Nothing major, just a few things to flag: For families: the top bunk has no sides, unfortunately making it not safe to sleep for younger children. The kitchen lacked some equipment - no large bowls for salads, only a couple of teaspoons, and the kettle didn’t work (we boiled water in a saucepan). There was also a note that kitchen cleaning is not included in the cleaning fee. I totally agree the guests should wash their own dishes before check-out, but not to clean the rest of the kitchen. If you’re sensitive to noise, the neighbour plays piano and sings until around 23:30. He plays well, but it might affect those who need complete silence or early sleep.

• Roger (9/5): Stijlvol appartement met zicht op kanaal in rustige wijk van Venetië. - Charmant appartement in Cannareggio, Venetië met uitzicht op de kanalen. Aan een rustig pleintje, buiten de drukke toeristenstroom. In de buurt winkeltjes, restaurants, supermarkt - allemaal op enkele minuten (of minder) lopen. Heerlijk appartement met 2 toiletten, een klein keukentje en naar alle kanten mooi uitzicht op het kanaal. Vanaf het station Venezia Santa Lucia is het ongeveer 15 minuten lopen naar het appartement. Kom je vanaf de luchthaven met de boot van Alilaguna, dan loop je ongeveer 15 minuten vanaf Fondamente Nove of nog minder vanaf Guglie. We hadden wat problemen met de verwarming (die sloeg niet aan) - er kwam iemand langs en toen was het snel verholpen. Goede service. Niets. Voor mensen die moeilijk trap lopen: het is de 2e verdieping. Houd daar rekening mee en beslis zelf of je dat wilt. Ik vond het goed te doen.

It was a real pleasure to stay there It would be nice to have a coffee machine

• Brandei (6/5): Lovely apartment but upgrades needed! - Great location, fifth time staying here (also booked through Airbnb). Sadly standards have dropped in this lovely apartment; for many years there were net curtains which were crucial in diffusing the direct sunlight, and these have been missing and not replaced for over a year. The kettle is not very safe (very easy to burn your hand), no bins in the bathrooms, only one loo roll, and almost nothing in the kitchen. Such small upgrades to these concerns would make a huge difference to the overall stay at such a wonderful location.

Beds and pillows were really uncomfortable as were quite hard and pillows were flat

A cute sized apartment , very clean and cutely decor - It was a very cute apartment in a great location close to everything yet in a quiet street. View of the canal. I wish the beds were not so hard. • Theodoros (5/5): Βe careful with your agreement with the manager and the company LIONHOST - I booked the apartment on the 22nd of November. The manager - Thomas sent me the confirmation and he asked me to check in online and pay the tourist tax due to Venice Municipality. I paid the taxes and I sent him the receipt. After 3 days he sent me a message that there was a calendar mismatch and he offered me an "upgrade". He sent me 4 choices and I chose the one ( SPIRITO SANTO). When I arrived at the property the apartment was dirty. The apartment was not an upgrade to 7 WINDOWS. I informed Thomas but there was not an answer. Be careful with this manager

Couldn’t imagine better place to stay in Venice. The stop for water bus was near and the city centre was really few steps from the apartment.

• Monica (10/5): After hot days of walking around Venice it was lovely to have a peaceful place to relax. - The apartment was everything we hoped for, clean and modest but also quite beautiful. It was close to everything but also out of the fray of the busiest streets. We were completely delighted with everything.
• Jarnia (10/5): Beautiful / View / Location Fab! - location was fantastic ! so authentic and felt like a local. cafes and bars right at your doorstep but yet so quiet . loved the shutters - make the room lovely and dark . not too many stairs to carry baggage up . didn’t use kitchen as food so cheap within this area . pillows were a bit too soft and no additional to add to help with the lie soft pillows .

• Daniel (10/5): Absolutely Amazing - highly recommend it !! - This apartment is perfectly located on a quiet piazza. You are 2 bridges away from the busy part of town with shops, museums, restaurants etc. The best part of this location is that 1 bridge away you are were the locals eat and have access to probably 15 bars and restaurants. Besides this amazing location the apartment clean and comfortable (love the bed) and the owner is so nice and helped us get here from the airport. I would come back here any time and highly recommend 7 WINDOWS !!!!
• Ghita (8/5): Good location and near the waterbus stop - Very small apartment on the second floor. Its in an old building and was the sort of condition i was expecting. The minute kitchen could not get any smaller and we were told that we could cook as long as we did not use any oils. The bed was 'firm' and the pillows were a bit like sleeping on rocks. We were greeted by Ricarro who made no pretence of being in a hurry and I felt that we had disturbed his game of football or some such and he couldn't wait to get back to it. Not particularly welcoming. The location is good and there is a very good supermaket within 5 mins walk. Local restaurants were good and not particularly expensive. Rubbish disposal is a bit draconian, however, i think that they do need to be strict to keep Venice as clean as it is. It is unlikely we will stay there again as the steep stairs were simply too much for me.

• Ken (10/5): Honeymoon in Venice - This was an excellent location for reaching the shuttles to Murano and other islands . It is off the main path so you feel more like one of the locals . The kitchen is small but sufficient we only did breakfast. Great restaurants near by. Bed is comfy. We enjoyed the 7 Windows !
