• Josh (10/5): Memorable Stay - The courtesy of the staff. We booked 4 rooms and arrived past 11pm. The staff managed to keep dinner for me and my guests, who were visiting Kenya for the first time attending the UN global climate summit and had travelled to Mara straight from a day full of meetings and long flights. We were offered an upgrade to amazing spacious new tents which were very comfortable, and a complimentary late check out to refresh after our game drive. The staff and service at all stations from the day of check-in to our check-out date and time were exceptionally great. Silolei and Joseph from the front office stood out in terms of exceptional service. The food was great and ambience was serene. Richard, our Maasai tour Driver was extremely knowledgeable and made our tour drive exceptionally special. We managed to see all the big 4 except for the Rhino and even saw a lion and leopard kill during our drive. A special thanks to the Group Managing director, Mr. Hasnain Noorani and Group sales manager Mr. Patrick Wambugu, who made our booking process exceptionally smooth and were generous enough to accommodated all our special requests. They made this stay at the Prideinn memorable and outstanding. You all sold Kenya positively to the Globe. We were blown away and will definitely be visiting again!!

• Silvia (10/5): Una experiencia increíble - El encanto de la habitación-tienda de campaña. Muy bien equipada y todas las noches pasaban a echar insecticida. El bar y el restaurante lindan con un río que da al masai mara y se pueden ver animales al otro lado. También oímos de noche rugir al león y barritar al elefante (impresiona bastante el rugido del león tan cerca). Tiene un puente que une con el parque y te pueden recoger y dejar los guías del safari (puntazo porque ahorras tiempo). Hay muchos monos (a mí eso me encanta), pero cuidado que roban la comida y si no cierras la tienda te entran dentro.Personal muy amable y atento, el restaurante muy guapo y la comida súper variada y muy buena. Puedes coger boxes para comer dentro del parque. Nosotros cogimos pensión completa, llegamos tarde el primer día y ellos mismos se ofrecieron a darnos la comida que nos correspondía el primer día para llevarla el último que nos íbamos, un detalle porque ni nos lo hubiéramos planteado Por poner un pero los boxes que te dan para el parque son muy básicos e igual no merece la pena pagar pensión completa porque los boxes te cuestan 500 KES, si volviésemos yo cogería media pensión
• Richard (10/5): - This is a great facility that has buffet meals, a pool, and very attentive staff. They did a good job coordinating with our guide. The food, although a buffet, had new options every day. I wanted to give special thanks to Brenda and Solomon for their kindness in the restaurant, and Loso the porter for helping us with our bags as we were leaving. Our tent was large and met almost all of our needs. We were also already inside the park, which meant we could access our safaris quickly every day. The only small things were that the tents only have UK outlets, so we had to ask for an adapter. I didn't mark them down because they were happy to lend us one. Also, it was difficult to control the temperature in the afternoon in the tents (we were between safaris). I realize the second criticism is hard to fix because we are staying in actual tents, but maybe for the future they can find a way to seal the tents to put in small air conditioning units.

• Abdul (10/5): My perfect and memorable safari trip - The camp is in a very good location and the rooms are perfectly surrounded by trees to give a natural vibe. The rooms were very spacious and with excellent staff who were there for any help round the clock. The Talek river view restaurant had a perfect river view and the food was amazing and they made sure we get the food pack for the days when we went for game drive Overall me and my family thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will come back whenever we plan our next safari (In sha Allah). The staff'were too friendly and went out of the way and showed excellent hospitality which I didn't like at all 😂
• Andrés (10/5): The joy of a lodge surpassing expectations - I booked PrideInn myself, which is not a typical move at Masai Mara (usually a tour provider would sort everything out for you for a hefty fee), so I was prepared for things to be a little patchy. Instead, PrideInn defied my expectations at every turn, and ensured that everything was as smooth and seamless for me and my group. Service is outstanding, from the frontperson (Edison and Sylvia), the restaurant staff (Ambani and Dominic) to the guards, the cleaning personnel, waiters, chefs and bartenders. No one spared a smile or a kind gesture and were committed to meet us in our needs and special requirements. Rooms (whether tents or cottages) were exceedingly comfortable and well equipped — proper mattresses, thick blankets, clean towels, toileteries offered, plenty of power outlets, sufficient lighting, hot water (actually hot) running without an issue. Common areas strategically located by the Talek river are a delight. Food was plentiful and delicious. Something for every taste. I am vegan and never found myself wanting; chef was there to answer my questions on ingredients and special dietary requests were met within minutes. Ambani took care of organizing for us a packed breakfast for our esrly morning game drive, making sure that every box was marked with name and packed with the specific things we had selected the night before. For a person with high standards is such a joy to leave an accommodation without a qualm or complaint, only with the certainty that I will come back. No complaints.

The rooms were clean, the atmosphere was the perfect blend of relaxed but professional, and the staff were wonderful. Huge shout out to Brenda who made us so comfortable - from coffees at 5am before a game drive to rustling up pack lunches. She was fantastic! Nothing

After confirming 3 times the appointment of massages they managed to delay it 30 minutes without informing. When time came, 2 minutes before they also changed it for 1 hour after for 2130pm that made no sense. Kept pushing for us to leave the room several times at 10 am when checkout clearly says from 1200.

The staff at the restaurant area are very helpful and friendly too. The USB ports on the wall sockets were not working so we had to drive to Talek town to buy the head so we'd charge our phones.

• Cianna (9/5): All in all we really appreciated our stay in prideinn and honestly felt very at home! Recommend! - Place is really nice and staff were super accommodating! One of the staff had a small accident with some of our beers, but we were compensated instantly and staff did all they could to make it up for it! It was my boyfriend's birthday and the staff were so sweet to upgrade our room to one the cottages overlooking the river. Generally staff was super friendly and smiley. Special shoutout to Millie and Joseph for making our stay extra comfortable! Food was pretty good and were always able to find something decent as vegetarians. The hotel is also right next to a foot bridge, where you can just walk over and start your safari straight away, very hassle free :) we even saw a cheetah on our way back close to the hotel! While it was nice to have someone playing music sometimes during lunch and dinner, it did feel a bit repetitive with the same person performing or every single meal - more variety or sometimes just relaxing background music would be appreciated (we could also hear it from our cabin). In terms of privacy the curtains were quite transparent and with staff and safari guides often hanging out on the bridge during the day and we felt a bit watched.

• Halbe (9/5): Without hesitation: one of our best stays in Kenya - We absolutely loved our stay: Thomas ensured we had a fabulous room with a really nice turn down (yes, we really appreacited the hot water bottles in our bed), to Henry who ensured the pool area was so inviting to socialize to Soloman and Fred who ensured all our needs were met in the restaurant - and a special shout out on the fact that Soloman was so kind to our young kids. The fact we were walked 'home' to our cabin to the really short walk across the bridge to be in the park... Does it come across we loved it? Because we did :) We were probably spoiled with the great dinner options that we were (very little!) disappointed with the lunch boxes. More fruits and less meats would have been better for us.

• Ian (9/5): Superb - The staff were outstanding, we met some lovely people who were very professional and very friendly. The hotel is very well equipped and is situated on the Talek river that borders the Masai Mara Reserve and we saw waterbuck and giraffe from our patio. There was abundant birdlife around the hotel. Although the hotel borders the Reserve, it is still at least a 20 minute drive on very poor roads to the gate itself in order to access the park. The food at the start of our stay was very good but became less so in subsequent days as we went from a buffet to a Table d'hôte menu as the hotel was closing for a period of construction work and guest numbers reduced prior to the shutdown. Although nothing to do with the hotel, as a word of caution to future guests, you should ensure that you handle payments to to enter the Reserve yourself and not rely on your guide/driver to handle any payments on your behalf.

• Lotte (10/5): - Het personeel doet er echt werkelijk alles aan om je verblijf onvergetelijk te maken. Iedereen is vrolijk en vriendelijk en niets is teveel moeite. Iedere avond stond er een heerlijk buffet van lokale gerechten en speelde Frank liedjes op zijn gitaar. De lodge ligt ideaal langs een rivier. Wij hadden een eigen auto mee die al aan de andere kant van de rivier in het park stond. Zo hoefde je alleen de loopbrug over en kon je game drive beginnen. Het was fijn om tussen de game drives door lekker aan het zwembad te kunnen liggen. De private bush diner is erg aan te bevelen!

The cottage we stayed was a family Savannah tent ..facing the Talek river..with a beautiful ambience and feel of the Mara topography..Cuisines were superb very much authentic Indian vegetarian besides the continental and typical sumptuous  cuisines of Africa ..They provided us packed breakfast and lunch for both the days ..the 3 days we stayed almost made us feel we were leaving our home...would highly recommend the stay here Nothing in specific

The duty manager Mr. Joseph Kaleku was the person who supported all my request and made the stay in this hotel wonderful. We was feeling like home and the restaurant team was very friendly and supportive as they will try to cook for you what ever meal test you want. In short we loved the place and we loved the hotel team who made our stay rememberable. Once again im thankful to Mr. Joseph and the management team in Prideinn mara camp. NA

Comfortable well situated and powered by renewable energy sources The only thing I would recommend is to inform the hotel that you are a large group who tents should be near. Booking.com and the hotel seems to not necessarily coordinate on this. But I was very impressed how the hotel fixed the problem and went out of their way to accommodate us.

• A (3/5): Pride lost - The rooms were very good. Reception- delay in checking in. First day check in hot water was not available. Different reasons were given by the staff. Safety locker not working. Bathroom floor pool of water. Dining table no napkins provided. Had to wait for a long time for food trays to be refilled. Masala tea served first day was great but second day on breakfast the tea was totally different when pointed out the waiter took the pot of tea back to kitchen and returned back with same pot mentioning that this was the right masala tea.
• Peter (10/5): - Excellent hotel on the edge of the Masai Mara with a pedestrian bridge into the park so that you can meet your driver on the other side and avoid the Talek gate. Food was OK and the drinks reasonably priced. But it is the amazing staff that make this hotel special. Highly recommended.

• Viveta (6/5): Bitter sweet - Pros - The “camp” site is wonderful, beautiful setting. Big rooms, spacious, with clean and comfortable facilities. We were a family of 8, with 3 little kids and all were comfortable in two large rooms. The food was excellent - plenty of choice and high quality, tasty meals. The camp site staff were very friendly and helpful. Cons: beware of additional costs that aren’t clearly stated when I booked. The car/driver that the hotel hires for the game drives is about $150/day and you pay cash directly to the driver. Unfortunately we were not told this until check out morning, and it caused some frustrations and haggling (leaving a bitter last memory). There is park fees that is paid directly to the park “office” right at the local airport strip, it is $80/adult/per night - again, paid in cash. Since we were a large group staying for 3 nights that’s a significant amount. I wish the hotel mentioned this to us upfront. We had to waste much time making several 1 hour drives to the town bank to withdraw cash. Electricity during the daytime 6a-6p is very limited in the rooms (just 1 or 2 sockets work). There’s no internet ever in the rooms but available in the lobby all day. While the game drives and the safari experience was amazing and will definitely bring us back to Masai Mara, I don’t think we’ll return to the Pride Inn.

• Liza (10/5): Perfect stay and super friendly and helpful staff! - PrideInn has a beautiful location (next to the river) which is not too big. That makes PrideInn romantic, lovely and intimate. The cottage was perfect, we had three amazing nights. The staff made the stay very easy, pleasurable and support us so well with everything (we had a late arrival, but the Jeffrey, Joseph and John helped us with entering the park and a safe arrival at the lodge)! I would recommend the PrideInn to anyone. Thank you!

The staff was very friendly and welcoming and made our stay perfect. We got great Indian vegetarian food as well. The room views, overlooking the Talek river, was spectacular. All in all, perfect stay. nothing
