• Nunzio (8/5): - La struttura si trova nella periferia di Lucca, ma con 5 o 6 minuti di auto (c'è il parcheggio interno alla struttura) si arriva facilmente alle mura. La camera piccola, ma con l'essenziale. La colazione "a la carte" viene preparata al momento dai proprietari, che si sono dimostrati molto disponibili e cordiali

• Verified traveler (2/5): Disaster - There was no hot water.. the shower head did not fit into the bracket, the soap dispenser was empty, etc.. when I wrote they said it was a gas leak and I could use another room to shower. At that point I had taken a cold bath . So it was too late. The help just reiterated, it is not our fault! They somehow felt it was not their responsibility either!
• Anna (10/5): - We vonden deze accommodatie geweldig. We konden via whatsapp contact hebben van Giacomo en konden eerder de kamer in. Je kon de auto daar gratis parkeren. We hebben alles in de auto gelaten en hebben met de gratis fietsen (die je wel een harde kont geven) 10 minuutjes naar Luca gefietst. Dit was echt super! In 1 middag en avond Lucca kunnen verkennen. De kamer was groot, schoon en perfect. De badkamer is ook heel ruim. Het bed lag perfect! Ik raad iedereen dit aan. Het ontbijt in de ochtend is ook echt prima!
• Gregor (8/5): good for a short stay - It is a good place for a short stay. Not luxurious, but that’s not expected for this price. The staff is very nice, but the rooms are directly besides a very loud street, so not recommended to sleep with open windows.

En l’absence de climatisation, attention aux bruits de circulation si l’on dort fenêtre ouverte, route importante à proximité.
• Rémi (10/5): Belle petite escale - Petit arrêt d'une nuit dans ce charmant petit hôtel. L'accueil est chaleureux et l'hôte de bon conseils. Le petit déjeuner est agréable et nous conseillons la patisserie fait maison. Hôtel qui change des grandes chaines hotelière, un peu comme à la maison. Nous conseillons vivement cet endroit.

• marco (6/5): - Capisco il vintage, ma la struttura è troppo vecchia, le persiane cadono a pezzi, il giardino non bene curato la camera con tappeto sporco, il bagno vasca con una parte di resina saltata e water con colla, anche se pulito sembrava sporco con questi difetti. Colazione buona In camera non c’è aria condizionata e mancano zanzariere, non si può dormire con finestra aperta. Peccato per i tanti difetti perché la struttura meriterebbe la sufficienza essendo una villa d’epoca.

• Barbara (10/5): - Wir wurden super nett empfangen, erhielten Tipps für Lucca und konnten uns sogar aussuchen, was wir zum Frühstück wollen. Eine wundervolle Villa mit schönem Zimmer und eigenem Bad mit tollen alten Elementen, der Fußboden war wunderschön. Ein kleiner Garten mit Sitzgelegenheit stand auch zur Verfügung. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen wieder! Danke!!! Unser Auto war von Vorteil, da das Haus etwas vom Stadtkern weg ist. In Lucca gibt es unweit des Zentrums einen großen Parkplatz.

• Susan (8/5): Great place, wonderful service - I got really lost finding the right bus and Giacomo was really helpful and eventually came to pick me up in his car, which was fabulous as I was tired and with a big bag. The house is a lovely old house and the room was clean and perfect with an ensuite. Giacomo gave me information about where to go to eat and I went to Leo’s nearby where they cut slices of pizza at whatever size you like which is a great idea. The breakfast was nice and a range of things that you can order the night before. For me, the only downside is that the location is a bit out of the way, especially at night. The bus is possible, but it’s probably ideal to use this place if you are driving then it’s perfect and really reasonable.

O local é muito agradável. e tranquilo, também achamos o acesso fácil, estávamos de carro. O café da manhã foi muito bom, muita variedade e feito com capricho. Gostamos muito! Voltaríamos. Accoglienza, camera, servizi, pulizia, colazione impeccabili. Giacomo molto disponibile e gentile. Ciliegina sulla torta la presenza costante di acqua fresca, un servizio per me impagabile che molto raramente ho visto in altri b&b. Consigliatissimo e da ritornarci sicuramente
• milena (8/5): - Ci ha accolti Giacomo un ragazzo molto disponibile...ci ha fornito indicazioni per pranzi cene ed eventuali snack. Ogni mattina è lui che ci preparava con attenzione la colazione soddisfacendo le nostre richieste. Piccola nota negativa: la casa è antica nella stanza non c'è aria condizionata ma un condizionatore portatile rumoroso e un ventilatore.

La struttura è in zona defilata e tranquilla circondata dal verde ma nello stesso tempo molto vicina al centro storico di Lucca. Consigliatissima!!

Lo único que nos coincidió ola de calor y lo pasamos muy mal porque la habitación era "literalmrnte" un horno. Nos dejaron un ventilador en la habitación, pero no sirvió de mucho. Ya de madrugada abrimos un poco la ventana y acabamos picados por los mosquitos.

• Cristina (8/5): Una notte per il Lucca Festival - Diciamo che nell'insieme è stato un buon soggiorno, considerando il costo della camera nel periodo del festival. Il b&b è a circa 40 minuti a piedi dal centro, ma se vi va ci sono delle biciclette a disposizione. L'unica nota dolente è il bagno in camera che è semiaperto e quindi può creare dei disagi.

Al nostro arrivo ha fornito ottimi consigli su ristoranti, parcheggi a Lucca e Pisa che si sono rivelati azzeccati e ci hanno fatto guadagnare tempo prezioso, vista la nostra breve permanenza. Trattasi di Bed & Breakfast, non di Hotel 5 stelle, nel panorama di questo genere di strutture è davvero meritevole. Consigliato

The villa is about 2.8 kms from the old city but Giacomo offered us bicycles to ride to the old city. That was a wonderful experience as we were able to see far more than if we were on foot. We even cycled the wall twice and also cycled along the aqueducts.

La signora Antonella gentilissima, molto attenta all'ospite e a tutte le sue esigenze, si era resa disponibile a venirmi a prendere all'arrivo e mi ha anche riaccompagnato in stazione per prendere il treno del ritorno. Colazione ottima fatta in casa. La consiglio vivamente a chi va in vacanza a Lucca e vuole un soggiorno di pace e relax.

• Tobias (8/5): Warm but nice stay - Cozy place a bit outside the city centre. The host provided us with bicycles which were an easy way to get to and around central Lucca. Lovely homecooked breakfast and host was accommodating and easy to communicate with. We came in the midst of a heatwave so the lack of air-conditioning was a big bummer. We were also plagued by mosquitos. Also the refrigerator wasn’t working that well.

The room was very spacious. The B&B is located a bit outside but easily reachable by car and Edoardo gave us great tips on where to park near Lucca. The room was vers spacious and had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend Villa Sunrise.

Breakfast well served and better than we expected. They make that extra effort to make your stay a comfortable one. Would have preferred a room with a door on the loo! Suggest Hotels.com include accurate way of finding the property. Satnav took us to the wrong place.
• Bruce (10/5): Quiet in the Tuscan countryside. - A very peaceful place to stay, with an outlook to the hills, but quite close to Lucca (5 minutes away). The rooms are nicely furnished and comfortable. Very relaxing!
• Verified traveler (10/5): Perfect little B&B - This was my favorite place I've stayed so far in Italy, ranging from hostels to Hiltons to airBnBs. The place is clean and the breakfast was thoughtful. I took advantage of the bikes offered and loved riding into the main part of town, I also liked that it allowed me to see a part of Lucca I may have missed had I stayed within the city walls.
