Guest Reviews
- Guy (9/5): THE place to stay in the Blue Mountains, will highly recommend - Very good value for money, we loved it It’s a minor issue, I wish we had been warned about the security alarm before hand. It went off when we first entered and wasn’t a great way to start after travelling.
- Angie (4/5): PowerPoint in master bedroom broken, kitchen cabinets broken and fell off in your hand as you opened - lots of things that didn't work or were broken
- Anne-maree (8/5): Comfortable - Comfortable beds, quiet, secluded location A little hard to find - gps doesn’t take you there
- Jean (10/5): Had a lovely 3 night stay with 5 children. Plenty of room for everyone in a beautiful bush setting 😀 - The location. Big enough to accommodate our needs. Comfortable beds. Difficulty to find!
- Emma (8/5): Great location, with a cosy fire and large enough for a family to sleep comfortably. - Location. Cosy. Large enough for a family. The beds were so comfortable and loved the electric blankets on the bed Nothing
- Carolyn (8/5): We had a lovely stay. - The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The heating was great and the beds were very comfortable. As we were a family having a separate toilet was great. Very quiet in a bush setting but close to everything. It definitely needs better signage. Even Google maps couldn’t locate it properly. It’s along a dirt track with a tiny number at the turn off.
- White (8/5): Comfortable accommodation. Everything we needed and in a good location. -
- Judy (7/5): Nice house, great location – but could have been much better with a little more care. - Great location, beautiful outlook, visits from friendly parrots and cockatoos, comfy couches, good-sized dining table, well set-up bathroom with extra toilet.
Has a good deal going for it. Because of conflicting info in previous reviews, I rang the rental company to check that there was a dishwasher. I was told there was. There isn’t one - nor is there room for one. I told them it would be a good idea if they changed the house information so this was clear.
The garbage bin was packed full when we arrived. I texted to let them know. They apologised and said they would come a couple of days later to empty it. They didn’t. Fortunately, the council garbage collection was later that week.
The sheets and towels were nice and clean, but slightly damp.
We found a sandal under one of the couches as well as under one of the beds. There was also a ball under one of the beds which suggests that the cleaners don’t clean very thoroughly under the beds!
We had a fairly good week in this house, but there were a range of little things made it less enjoyable than it would otherwise have been.
- Breeze (8/5): Very good -
- Tim (8/5): Cosy, well priced, well located cottage - Location, wood fire, cosy cottage
- Jane (8/5): Very good - Central location, comfortable beds, comfortable lounges and homelike atmosphere, excellent heating, beautiful bush setting, kitchen well equipped. Oven and area around the stove need deep clean, teflon cookware was old and scratched, bedroom carpets needed vacuuming around the edges, dirt from previous guests swept into corner of laundry, vacuum cleaner broken, advertised dishwasher non existent.
- Lorraine (5/5): comfortable but disappointing for the price - quiet location difficult to find. it needed a lot of maintenance. curtains either had stains or holes. Heater didn’t work. No wood for wood fire. Pantry not cleaned out as many items were out of date and leaking. Outdoor table broken and unusable…..Management has been advised
- Jack (10/5): Will book again definitely! Was perfect - The location was fantastic, private, quiet and the cottage had everything we needed. We read previous reviews, brought firewood and we were toasty warm!!! Sure we could have used the heaters provided if needed. The step in the hallway. I had a trip of a lifetime before leaving.
- Elly (9/5): Superb -
- Daniella (8/5): relaxing and wet - plenty of space, clean and lovely outlook. plenty of heating even if there was no firewood supplied. it was very wet while we were in the mountains so we spent a lot of time at the cottage and had a lovely trip. no firewood supplied
