Guest Reviews
- Christi (7/5): -
- Kseniia (10/5): - Попадаешь в гости в прекрасный старинный дом .удобное место расположения: подальше от шума и очень близко трамвайная остановка. Уютная комната. Невероятная приятная и заботливая хозяйка. Рекомендую.
- Lorraine (9/5): A lovely place to stay. A charming and caring hostess. Conveniently located. - The breakfast we had on our first day was very good, served by Sally with care and thought. When we arrived the first night we slept in the upstairs room. We are a couple in our 70s and it was not easy to walk up and down the stairs, especially with suitcases. On the first morning, we met Sally, the wonderful hostess, who let us transfer to a much more comfortable room that was vacant on the ground floor. That made all the difference to our stay

- Joyner (10/5): Will definitely book again if I come for a visit! - The atmosphere of the home was awesome!..loved my breakfast!...the young lady was so sweet!
- Voyager39404866282 (10/5): Great BnB! - Excellent experience and the staff were amazing and accommodating! Breakfast was very good every day. The location in midcity is fabulous with the streetcar nearby allowing access to city park and the French quarter with short trips. I highly recommend staying here!
- christopherdW5438MN (10/5): Well recommend - The place is in a nice location. Quiet and safe. A good neighborhood feeling . It is near Citi Park and fairgrounds though a distance from French Quarter. Two street car lines pass nearby that will get you downtown. . There are nice restaurants nearby. The House is managed by Sally who makes a nice breakfast and will spoil you. An enjoyable stay
- Amelia (10/5): Exceptional -
- E2990CHjenniferc (10/5): Perfect getaway to enjoy the Crescent City - Lovely house in a perfect location. Room was spacious and nicely appointed (we were in tge room for 4 guests). Breakfast was delightful, as we both enjoyed the food as well as the company (although it wasn't forced or weird.) We would definitely stay here again!
- Nola (10/5): Exceptional B&B!! - Gracious, kind, personalized service, with the friendliness New Orleans has to offer. Cannot wait to come back, for an even longer stay!! Excellent in all areas of service by Sally and others at this B&B! Nothing. I liked everything!!
- summer8117 (10/5): Delightful stay - Our stay at 1896 OMalley was wonderful. The entire property was clean and well kept. Sally, herself, was just a delight to speak with and treated us like family. It felt as if we were coming home. Breakfast was a treat and Sally was eager to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The home is perfectly situated to be able to walk to the canal street trolley and take a short ride to the French quarter or riverside; but is in a quiet residential area. We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch swing and unwinding from the day in our jacuzzi tub. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We will definitely be back. Thank you to Sally and the owner for such a delightful stay.
- susangI8866WJ (10/5): Home Away from Home - I had a wonderful stay at the O'Malley house. The B and B is located within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Also, it is a short walk to the Canal Street streetcar line, so it's easy to get to the French Quarter. My room was large, comfortable, and quiet. Sally greeted me upon my arrival; she was so welcoming, and she took care of everything. Breakfast was delicious! The O'Malley house just felt like home.
- Navigator30482409399 (10/5): Mardi Gras 2025 - Our stay at the O’Malley House was beautiful! Sally the host made sure we were accommodated comfortably. It was 3 adults and our room was perfect for us, with a sofa sleeper that functioned well. The breakfast was delicious and the coffee was hot! Sally was the perfect hostess! If we needed anything she had us covered! Definitely will be returning!
- Elena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay in the O'Malley House was outstanding! The location was perfect, room and home was clean and comfortable and breakfast was delicious. A huge thank you to Sally who made our stay extra special!
- Dee (10/5): It will bring back a wonderful memory. - The home is a unique experience. It is graciously and richly decorated but very comfortable. The host, Sally, is very hospitable and helpful. She’s genuinely a wonderful person. Excellent breakfast every morning. She gives everything a personal touch.
- amyao904 (10/5): Great experience! - I stayed here with my friends from Utah. I live 2 hours from New Orleans and never been to a place like this before! I had a great experience, and I would definitely stay here again! The location / neighborhood is nice, and it was a safe walk to a nearby restaurant! I would definitely recommend if you're wanting a different vibe from hotel! They were so nice and accommodating, and easy check in and out process!
- Jessy (9/5): Superb -
- Karen (10/5): Home from Home - This is really just like a home from home. I must admit with this being a Bed and Breakfast which we don't usually choose, we were a bit apprehensive, especially as when we arrived we quickly realized there was only one long Dining Table in the Dining Room, we aren't usually very social people at breakfast time. But saying that the experience was an eye opener for us. We met some lovely people round that breakfast table each morning from all over the world. Everyone had their story to tell and we had lots of laughs and it was such fun. Breakfast was lovely, and ready within 5 minutes of sitting down, it was varied each morning which was so nice. The staff and owners here are so nice and welcoming. It is their home and you felt such a big part of it. The character of the building is so lovely, we are from the UK and this is how we imagined a home to look like in New Orleans. We had a lovely cozy room, the only downside was our bathroom (not shared) was just along the hall which wasn't great for myself who gets up several times in the middle of the night to pee . I might add not all the rooms are like this. Totally our fault for not reading the description of the room before booking so I am not going to list this as a Negative. We also paid quite a lot to stay here for 4 nights but again totally our fault for not knowing (I know!) that the Superbowl was on that weekend! Which actually added to the enjoyment of our Trip seeing all the parades going on downtown. 5 minute walk to the Tram downtown, 1.25 Dollar trip each! Nothing.
- D5775BOangief (4/5): Very unpleasant experience and unreliable place. Don’t count on breakfast service prior to 8 am. - We were visiting Tulane for a college tour, my husband, my son, and I. We booked a room for three. Hesitant about the third-person accommodation, I called before booking to confirm they had a room suitable for 3. A lady answered the phone and confirmed to us with confidence they had rooms with accommodations for 3 people and these were very confortable.
When we arrived, the third accommodation turned out to be a broken and very old sofa sleeper that seemed to be from the 60s.
My son actually attempted to sleep on it, but it immediately tilted downward, making it completely unusable. Needless to say, it was not a sleepable sofa bed. Since we arrived late and were exhausted from our 6 hour drive to NOLA, we contacted the lady who managed our booking via text and phone. She insisted the sofa was in perfect condition and acted as if she had no idea what I was talking about. Honestly, we were ready to leave at this point, we just needed a comfortable place to sleep.
After waiting for her to arrive, she kindly offered my son another room at no extra charge, which I appreciated. But, what if the place had been fully booked? My son would had to sleep on a broken sofa couch. At that point, we would have left.
Unfortunately that’s not all, weeks before our stay, we had kindly requested breakfast to be served before 8:00 AM since we needed to leave at that time for the college tour. She assured us she would do her best to accommodate this request. The night before, she said, I will text you at 6 AM if the cook can make breakfast early or not. However, she never texted.
At 7:30 AM, I came downstairs because I smelled food being prepared, but she informed me the cook had not arrived yet. She never gave us a heads-up so we could make alternate plans for breakfast. Worse, she acted as if she had never said she would text us. She said, I would text you if he made it. It felt like a game of words. All we needed was a simple update so we could plan ahead.
Now we had to find food, we hurried out. As we were leaving at 7:45 AM, she suddenly said, I’m making breakfast for you. At that point, it was too late, we had already our bag in the car, we were frustrated, hungry and somewhere to be. We needed a reliable place to serve breakfast. We couldn’t risk spending another minute waiting for a positive outcome. We were about to spend the entire morning at Tulane without even a cup of coffee, if we didn’t leave immediately.
Needless to say, I had a very unpleasant experience. We didn’t get enough sleep due to the bed situation, and we weren’t served breakfast before 8 AM as requested. All we needed was a comfortable place to stay when arriving late in the evening and clear communication about breakfast service.
- Rene (10/5): We enjoyed and stay and the location. - The room was big and the bed was comfortable. The check in process was easy. Breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly. The off street parking was really nice. The bathroom was fairly small and it took forever to get hot water. May need to look into installing a circulation pump to keep the water warm. There was hardly any counter space. There was a shelf above the toilet, but it was about to fall of the wall. The thermostat was in the hallway. One night it was a little cold. The system ran for quite a few hours and the temperature never came up.
- Dreamer50742216728 (10/5): A beautiful place to stay! - We really enjoyed our stay. The room was amazing and decorated very nice. The house was gorgeous. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was really good. The location was perfect for catching the street car. We definitely stay here again!
- eliisal2025 (10/5): Great stay! - Great location, clean and peaceful rooms, delicious breakfast. The service was very friendly! Tramline is close by, easy to get into the city center. We had a possibility to store our luggage after check-out and take a beautiful stroll in the neighbourhood.
- Wyatt (10/5): It was a refreshing place to stay - I loved the antiquity and how well kept all of the facilities in the house were. The staff were very friendly and accommodating Only thing would be that parking might be a little congested if this house is at full capacity
- Rosenking (7/5): Overall it was a good stay, but there is room for improvements. - Jennifer was great! Very personable, made a delicious breakfast, provided us with travel tips & suggestions and could not do enough for us. The heat for our room was controlled by a different room, so we had to keep the windows open to cool off.
- gisellerE694EE (10/5): Felt like home - I felt so at home at this bed-and-breakfast. Jennifer, who helps run it, and the owner were so kind and sweet. Jenn gave us great restaurant recommendations (Oceana Grill was a good one) and was a joy to talk to every morning. She made sure we had everything we wanted and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast bread pudding was amazing and she was kind enough to even give us the recipe and print it out. The room was very cozy: the mattress and pillows were very comfortable. I also really liked that this bed-and-breakfast was in a residential neighborhood and away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough that it was only a 15-20 minute street car ride away from the city. The street car is just across the street. Make sure to visit the Sculpture garden in city Park, which is very close to the bed-and-breakfast. It’s a place you cannot miss. If I ever come back to New Orleans. I will definitely stay here again.
- KateM4654 (10/5): We loved this place! - We loved this place. Full of character and charm - such a nice contrast to the clinical and impersonal feeling of most hotels. Great location with easy access to town centre but far enough away for peace and quiet. Really enjoyed the conviviality of the communal breakfasts. Most of all we very much appreciated the warmth and hospitality of Jennifer who couldn't have been a kinder and more efficient host.
- Connie (6/5): ok - charming area were not told it was on third floor. Needs updating
- jackhV1901DJ (10/5): Fall in New Orleans - Classic b&b with good breakfasts and Jennifer's assistance scheduling a swamp tour and local recommendations. Safe neighborhood. Great access to streetcar stops and good restaurants within walking distance. Thanks again to Jennifer for a great visit.
- Keli (9/5): This was an incredible place with incredibly friendly hosts! - Clean and friendly Maybe a few more breakfast options/bigger tv
- JimfromColumbia (4/5): Great service but the property needs help! - Although it was clean and quiet, the property was in bad need of some TLC.
In the bathroom the "adjustable" shower head was old, corroded and could not be adjusted, the towel bar over the toilet was coming off of the wall, the vanity obviously had water damage and the wood toe-kick was peeling, the sink drain plug was broken and the hair dryer filter was clogged. The automatic door closer to the room was not attached to the door frame and the front stairs had settled several inches making it difficult and dangerous for older patrons to navigate the top step.
The only bright spot was Jennifer the house sitter. She was very warm, helpful and welcoming! The breakfasts were always well-served, hot and delicious! When we commented on the need for additional electrical plugs for our devices, she promptly provided us with an extension cord with multiple outlets (multiple electrical outlets or a plug-strip should be a standard in any sleeping accommodation). When we told her that there was no TV remote in the room, she promptly provided us with a new one.
The warmth of Jennifer's personality made the stay a pleasant experience in spite of the glaring shortcomings of the property.
- Carrie (5/5): You couldn’t pay me to stay at the O’Malley House again. - Ms. Jennifer was wonderful! The 1896 O’Malley Inn’s needs a to hire a professional cleaning service for this whole place regularly. The rating is misleading. I was greeted by a huge cockroach on the outside wall just to the right of the front door upon arrival. The front door itself is in disrepair; there is a gap worn in the wood where the lock meets both doors. Inside, the first thing I noticed was how hot it was; it’s August, so why was the air conditioning not on? The floor rugs were dirty and their edges were deteriorated. There was only one staff on duty for this entire place during my weeklong stay. There is no way only one person can cook, clean, repair, shop, and do concierge services for this inn. For its size and age, it needs at least four everyday staff. The bathroom in my room (room 7) is terribly dated with a stained shower curtain and worn out shower liner. The jets in the tub are yellowed and the tub itself stained yellow so I didn’t dare sit in it and use the jets because who knows what would have come out of them? Also, in case they broke down I did not want the ownership trying to charge me. Every time I showered, I had to fight the gross, brittle shower curtain liner so it wouldn’t touch me. The towels were old, worn out, dingy, and rough. The toilet paper was so scratchy, I went and got Charmin because going to the bathroom became uncomfortable. The bathroom in my room #7 also had an old, very low height, running toilet that you have to hold the handle for it to flush. The wall panels were caked with years of filth and the plunger was sitting out in the open and disgusting. In the bedroom, the boxspring trim had fallen off to the point that it was wrapped around part of the headboard. The linens were laundered, but dated and faded as well. The TV was so small, and had to be from the 1990s that it was a strain to watch. As for the breakfast, the orange juice was watered down so badly, it was terrible!
- Jessica (10/5): Exceptional -
- allisonp641 (10/5): Charming, comfortable and good value - I stayed for an anniversary celebration, and it was terrific. Bed was incredibly comfortable, the room was quiet, and breakfast and coffee were great. It was so convenient to take the Canal St. streetcar to the French Quarter, and we also enjoyed the neighborhood bars and restaurants. Would stay again!
- Scott (9/5): This beautiful old house was part of my New Orleans experience. - Beautiful large old home with an interesting history. Clean, comfortable rooms. Several good restaurants within easy walking distance. Canal Street streetcars are also within just a few minutes walking distance and are a great way to get around the city without a car. The host knew the city well and had lots of good advice. Breakfasts were all very good. Front porch (with a porch swing) was a nice way to have a little outside time in the shade to read or just relax. Neighborhood was fairly quiet and felt safe to me. No view from my room. I believe I could have upgraded to have a room with a view.
- Kehres (10/5): Felt like home - Did not eat breakfast there Parking on the street
- 6315147 (9/5): Wonderful excellent 5 night stay. - Breakfast was different every day and was excellent. Nothing
- Audzak (10/5): Great B&B - My husband and I loved our stay at the O’Malley house. Brent was a great host. He cooked a delicious breakfast every morning. Our room was great.Very comfortable bed. Very clean. We had to check in very late. Directions were very easy to get in the house and get our key. We will be back as we have family close by. Great location to restaurants and street cars.
- richardcQ7016RM (10/5): Excellent host and accommodation. - We have just returned from a holiday to New Orleans staying at the beautiful, elegant O'Malley House. Located in a quiet nice peaceful area very close to the Streetcar line. Breakfasts were excellent and our host very helpful with places to visit. We would highly recommend this for anyone visiting New Orleans.
- Timothy (10/5): Enjoyable. Brent was the best. - Excellent and varied breakfast. Not the same old, same old. The toilet.
- Explorer45025954525 (10/5): Another awesome stay at the O'Malley House! - We had a fantastic week-long stay at the O'Malley House for French Quarter Fest. Thanks to Brent for taking such good care of us once again! After his delicious breakfasts, we were able to take the streetcar to the Quarter each day for lots of great local music and food. We'll be back next year!
- William (9/5): Very Nice place. I will return. - The house is beautiful. Breakfast every morning was very good. It was very easy to check in late, like I did. Room was very nice, with a very comfy bed. The back outside seating area was a bonus. The the fountain was a good touch. I was there for a week. The next time I'm in New Orleans, Ill be staying here for sure.
- Bruce (9/5): Superb -
- Colin (9/5): great stay in midtown - great location in midtown =, easy access to tram downtown

- Patty (10/5): A lovely place to stay for a visit to the Crescent City. - Excellent host, friendly & attentive. Lovely old home with character and charm. Location very good for public transportation. Delicious breakfast prepared every morning. Overall a great place to stay for a visit to New Orleans.
- Butkovich (10/5): Exceptional - The O'Malley house is an amazing historical beauty. Brent, our host went out of his way continuously to be of help, offer advice, and service, and he is an amazing chef.
The house was in walking distance of nearly everything we wanted to do and the streetcar stop was right at the corner for further destinations. Honestly we have nothing negative to say!
- Sian (10/5): Great location, fantastic host and great value for money, - Beautiful house set in a lovely quiet residential area. Just a short easy bus/cable car ride down to the French Quarter with the stop right on the corner of the road. Brent was an exceptional host and went above and beyond to embody the true spirit of Mardi Gras. Every morning a different speciality breakfast was included and he always took the time to join guests and give them information about where to visit. On the day of the local parade, he made all the residents complimentary hot dogs and chilli and invited us all to join in for pre carnival celebrations. Location was fantastic if you still want to be close to the French Quarter without being disturbed by the noise. The house has so much character and charm and nothing like you will get in a big chain hotel. Beds are super comfy and whilst our bathroom wasn’t ensuite, it was just next door with exclusive use just for us and robes provided too for privacy. We arrived late and Brent ensured we had all the information available for a late check in including where to park. You will truly receive a very personal experience staying here and prices are very competitive especially considering it was Mardi Gras. Nothing
- Scott (10/5): Host is a super nice guy -
- Sanders (6/5): Overall stay was good. Would stay again for sure - Great location. Host was very knowledgeable and helpful with local activities. Convenient location. Close to public transportation. The room was located on 3rd floor (walk up only) . I have knee & back problems. Would have been nice to have had an option for a 2nd floor room. Bathroom was not cleaned properly & TV remote didn't work, w no instructions for use.
- Marika (7/5): Great host, great breakfast, can be cleaner - The host was friendly and flexible. He gave us lots of recommendations for sightseeing. The breakfast was great. Other guests were so nice to talk. The house has the atmosphere. It’s so close to the street car stop. The bedroom could be more cleaner. I know maintaining the old house clean is tough, but there was some dust piling up on the corner, the backside of tv etc. There was crumble on the carpet. It’s not something that stop you to stay here, but you might notice this if you are sensitive about the cleanness.
- Christie (9/5): Superb -
- Tony (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (9/5): Comfortable with a great host - Breakfasts were home cooked and varied. Excellent coffee! We were made to feel at home and had a large spacious room. Gave us plenty of advice and tips for getting around and the area. It is an old house so didn't expect perfection. Maybe a little dusty in bedroom. This wouldn't stop us visiting again and certainly wasn't something to complain about.
- Guillermo (5/5): Nice staff but need to be cleaner for that night rate - Staff was very very very kind and nice Room (and specially toilet) could have been much more clean
- Scott (10/5): Excellent - Perfect location to trolley. Great host…clean, quiet, beautiful home.
- Cooyon (10/5): Enjoyable stay at a unique B&B. - The 1896 O'Malley House is a true B&B gem in Mid-City, New Orleans. The location makes for easy use of public transportation so you can fan out to all areas of the city.
Brent who runs this B&B is a man of many talents, e.g., great chef and historian regarding the property.
As a local coming home for battery recharge, I enjoyed chats with Brent about the state of the city.
If you like to stay at places that have character and history - with a chance to regularly interact with a host who truly cares about the property - then this is such a place. Internet was spotty at times.
- Lisa (10/5): Lovely stay at the B&B, would recommend to anyone. - Brent was an awesome host - super friendly and helpful! And an amazing cook on top! Nothing, it was perfect!
- Walter (9/5): This wonderful old house really completed the time travel experience that is New Orleans. - Breakfast was generally excellent. Brent is a caring and accomodating host and gave very generously of his time. The house itself is a gorgeous time machine that seems extremely well built and amazingly uncreaky. Gotta let you have it, guys. It's those itty bitty TV's. When I was in my 40's/50's and I could see better and still charge around all day and half the night I probably wouldn't have cared at all, but nowadays, especially in the summer heat, a lot of us older folks need to rest and recharge more, so the room itself should contain a good source of entertainment. A 36" screen and a premium channel or two would certainly fill the bill.
- Carlet (10/5): Awesome time - Brent was attentive to our needs. No problems
- Karen (10/5): thank you for a great ending to our vacation! - breakfast was delicious and ready exactly when we were!
- Diane (10/5): Highly recommended - We had a terrific stay. The daily breakfast was delicious. Brent was an exceptional host. We actually enjoyed everything about our stay. Brent took care of us.
- Abracapocus (9/5): The perfect neighborhood and perfect home base for us on a marvelous trip to New Orleans - We had a marvelous stay in New Orleans thanks to the comfort and location of O'Malley House. We were here mostly for birdwatching and of course for sightseeing and all the history and musicality of New Orleans. There are plenty of restaurants to try right in the neighborhood; our favorite was probably Queen Trini Lisa's, a modest place from the outside but with glorious Trinidadian food and a great friendly neighborhood vibe on the inside, thanks to the big-hearted Queen Trini Lisa herself. The streetcar trolleys were wonderfully easy for getting to the fabulous, enormous New Orleans City Park, where we spent days exploring the wonders of the park itself as well as the Museum of Art (sooooo good!!) and the Botanical Garden. The trolleys also take you right to the center of the French Quarter and all the touristy goodness on the waterfront. We especially enjoyed exploring the Louis Armstrong Park. We booked a Lafitte Swamp Boat Tour, which was a grand day out; if you go, don't miss the nearby Restaurant des Families and Barataria Preserve.
Brent will go to every length to make your stay comfortable and as adventurous as you want it to be. Don't hesitate to ask him for anything you need or for tips to explore the area, or to let him know about anything you notice that could use attention. He and the housekeeper work super-hard to keep this historical gem a place you'll want to come back to. He has mannnny stories to tell you from his adventures in the hospitality trade. We enjoyed Brent's care with the yummy breakfasts, and getting to meet our fellow travelers (one of whom comes here every year from Australia!). We loved the character of the decor in our room, the big, comfy bed, and the little sofa. We also really enjoyed the side patio. You'll need to be able-bodied enough to climb stairs to stay here, but they are beautiful cypress stairs! This didn't bother us, but don't expect every surface and every crevasse to be scrubbed and spotless in this historic building as you might in a 5-star hotel with an army of housekeeping staff. Brent makes it no secret that he is running the place almost single-handedly, with a part-time housekeeper. I grew up in an old house, and I know how hard it is to keep every bit of woodwork and all the blinds and drapes completely dust-free at all times. You can be certain that every space in the O'Malley House is clean and comfortable, with nothing to complain about.
- George (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent and friendly manager who provided good meals for breakfast.
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional - Brent is an amazing host - very welcoming, helpful & cooks a delicious breakfast. Beautiful guest house in a great location with free parking & very easy access to French Quarter etc via streetcar which is a few minutes walk away & costs only $3 for a 24 hour pass. Brent also booked 2 excursions for us. A real home from home.
- Warwick (10/5): Not to be Missed - We liked everything. Brent, our host, was very friendly and helpful, gave us good advice on what to do and how to do it. The breakfasts were great and varied, absolutely no complaints. Possibly the steps as we are in our 70's but it's good exercise!
- Caroline (10/5): Exceptional - Brent was hilarious and engaging. The breakfast was delicious. Nothing
- Andrea (10/5): Very happy 😊 - Great breakfast and presentation. Quiet. Excellent host N/A
- Christine (8/5): Great house and host - Brett was a great custodian, giving advice, had stories to tell and always cooked a delicious breakfast. The bedroom surfaces could have been cleaner. The overhead fan especially was thick with dust.
- Melanie (10/5): Exceptional - Great room lots of space. Our host was amazing very knowledgeable about the area. He cooked a lovely breakfast. Cannot rate this place highly enough Nothing
- Kerry (10/5): Perfect for our needs. - Great food, perfect location.
- Stephen (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (9/5): Perfect location, friendly host - With free parking in the area and the streetcar station just 2 minutes away, the location is unbeatable. The host is very responsive, helpful with recommendations, approachable and always kind. We enjoyed the variety of freshly prepared breakfast and the dining room is a stylish experience in itself. The house is old with a charm and nicely decorated. The climb to the third floor did not bother us, but can be challenging for some guests, the walls are thin and a good night sleep may depend on how respectful other guests are - not a big deal in such a historic home, just be aware / prepared. Some door locks are in need for repair and regular cleaning should also include the less used parts of the room.
- Allan (9/5): Superb - Stylish house with lovely rooms and amazing breakfasts. Nice location in a lovely neighbourhood with good bars and restaurants, close to streetcar with direct line downtown.
- Barry (6/5): Pleasant - Breakfast was good. Brent cooked a blueberry bread pudding with a strawberry and whipped cream. The streetcar stopped across the street from the house. The house was in a good part of the city. Brent was helpful and informative. The maid took the towels we threw in the dirty clothes hamper and hung them back up in the bathroom. There was hair in the bed. Poor job in making bed. The TV didn't work. The wifi didn't work most of the time. I could not get on and stay on for over five minutes at a time even once.
- Adrian (9/5): Excellent - Location away from tourist area but easy to access all areas as trolley stop is just around corner felt safe here breakfast was good and bed comfortable Nothing
- Peggy (9/5): Superb - Everything ! Just what we needed.
New Orleans…. Easy and Peaceful
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -

- Ofir (10/5): Beatiful place and amazing hosting. - The house is incredibely beatiful and very comfortable.
Brant is amazing helpfull and kind and he also cooks the best breakfast we had in our month travel in the US.
Everything went smooth from the check-in until we've got on the taxi to the airport.
- Shea (10/5): fantastic experience! we will be back! - loved everything about it! nothing
- Rainer (9/5): Very pleasant stay - Bret was a super nice and helpful inn keeper who made our stay at the O Malley house very enjoyable. It's also super conveniently located, in a quiet neighborhood but on one of the main streetcar thoroughfares. Wouldn't hesitate to come back.
- Heinrich (8/5): Very good - An nice old comfortable house. The streetcar station was only 200m away from O'Malley. Brad was a helpfully landlord. Every morning a special breakfast. The internet was not always stabil.
- Julie (9/5): Overall everything was great! I'd definitely stay here again just maybe not on the 3rd floor. - Breakfast was awesome! Brent is an excellent cook. He made us individual soufflé one day and homemade cinnamon waffles the next. The house was beautiful. Location was great...right on the main streetcar line. So we could stay in a quiet neighborhood but be on Bourbon street in a few minutes for $1.25 fare. Steep stairs to the 3rd floor. The sounds in the adjoining room sounded like they were in your own room. Fortunately the people were pretty quiet.
