Fantastic location...so close to subway & great restaurants & bars. Check in was a little rushed. We did not know about the free water & snack area until our last evening. Would be nice if the rooftop bar was open a little later.

Kamer is netjes en comfortabel, enige verbeterpunt zou de ruimte voor spullen/kleding zijn deze kwamen wij wat tekort met 2 grote koffers. Bergingsruimte voor koffers en kleding is minimaal. Verder alles super en netjes.

• Damian (9/5): Bardzo dobry hotel - łatwy proces zameldowania, super widok z okna. na górze bar z bardzo przyjemnym widokiem na miasto Dobra lokalizacja. Super duże i wygodne łóżko. Nie bardzo jest gdzie postawić drugą walizkę - jedna mieści się w szufladzie pod łóżkiem, ale jeśli ktoś ma drugą to ciągle musi ją przesuwać. Nie ma też zbyt wiele miejsca na rozpakowanie się, ale to akurat widać na zdjęciach.

Someone from maintenance temporarily fixed it, but then it immediately broke again. I know this isn't exactly anyone's fault, but it meant we didn't have a view - which is the best feature of the hotel.

Easy self check in/check out. Daily cleaning. Decent coffee bar that opens at 7am. Surprisingly ok storage for such a small room with hanging space. Very easy to get to JFK on the J line from Bowery. Rooms are small but we knew that, worth it for the location and quality of amenities.

• Marcus (9/5): - Die Atmosphäre im Hotel ist super. Insbesondere der Lounge-Bereich hat uns sehr gefallen. Morgens bekommt man dort ein abwechslungsreiches und qualitativ sehr gutes Frühstück und auch abends hat man die Möglichkeit dort etwas zu essen. Das Zimmer ist, wie schon häufiger erwähnt eher klein, erfüllt allerdings den Zweck einer New York Reise - es ist sauber, hat ein sehr bequemes Bett und die Dusche ist gut. Wir hatten zudem das Glück einen tollen Ausblick auf New York zu haben.

Location worked for me (the Public Theater and the New Museum were walkable distances). This is not about the hotel itself, but both cabs and rideshare vehicles got confused about the address. That's it.

• Giacomo (1/5): Don’t change people twice. - Location I have been charged twice, even though I did everything via Booking and I did pay the bill before checking in. It has been weeks and I still didn’t get the money back. Booking customer service is highly incompetent, with few exceptions, and this experience is very frustrating, annoying and time consuming. I have provided all supportive documentation but they don’t manage to fix this. Really bad service. Note that the trip happened a month ago, and at this point I have still paid twice for it, and not for any mistake I did.

Meaning you still feel like you're camping.

• Edward Darkwa (10/5): A perfect stay in the heart of New York. - My family and myself had a perfect stay. The rooms were great, the beds were very comfortable, and the location was unbeatable. It is right in the heart of New York, with many top attractions and restaurants just a short walk away. There was nothing I did not like. Everything was just perfect. Nothing to complain about! The staff there were very nice to us and also very helpful! A really nice hotel in the middle of New York!

• F633MMsf (2/5): Overcharging and no responsive - I usually travel to NY for work and have stayed with Citizen M a few times. There was a glitch in the system and for some reason a few bookings were made for me. I was certain I canceled it but they refused to honor it and ended up charging me for the full 3 nights and when trying to reach out to them, Lukas from their support group said 1 night would be charged for late cancelation. Its been 2 days and I've yet to receive a response from them re the glitch and the fact they charged for all 3 nights. I will never stay there due to the unethical practice and non response. This was not initially a Marriott hotel, so don't expect the same customer service when an issue arises.

• Michael (9/5): Perfekte Ausgangslage für NYC abseits des lauten Touristenzentrums - Sehr durchdachtes Zimmerkonzept, das funktioniert. Bedienung via Tablet aller Lichter und Rollos ohne Probleme. Vom check-in bis check-out sind die Prozesse durchdacht und auch das Gepäck kann weiterhin aufbewahrt werden. Bett etwas unpraktisch, wenn die Person am Fenster nachts aufstehen möchte.

• Christopher (8/5): Very practical for this part of New York - The property was well located in terms of where I needed to be in New York. The rooms are basic, but clean and have everything that's needed. The view on the higher floors is very nice. And the roof top bar is lovely to sit and watch the sunset. Staff are very hands-off - check in experience and check out very impersonal - everything through a tablet - and very little personal interaction. Rooms are very simple and sparse. Bare minimums as required.

• Moisés (8/5): A Good Choice in the Bowery - I had stayed at this hotel before, so I was already familiar with it. Its location is convenient for arrivals from JFK Airport, which made it an easy choice. It’s also well situated for getting downtown. I was allocated an accessible room; however, I prefer the bathroom facilities in the standard rooms.

• Marion (9/5): zentrale Lage, Tolle Dachterrasse - sehr lohnend! - Das Bett war sehr bequem. Besonders war der Blick aus dem Zimmer. Die Lage - und insbesondere die Dachterrasse mit Bar sind wirklich großartig. Ein Wasserglas wäre praktisch gewesen.

We lo - The Excellant location and the feel good , laid back vibes and the roof top bar . We also loved everything was controlled on an iPad and the breakfast was Excellant in that all your coffees etc were included off the menu . It was all amazing and we travel a lot and we would definitely recommend this hotel without a doubt . There wasn’t anything we didn’t like .

• Rachel (6/5): Comfortable Beds but Packed and Noisy Communal Spaces with were not conducive to quiet working. - Bed was super comfortable and shower good. Rooms were well cleaned. The communal spaces were lovely but as they were open to the general public it was hard to get a good seat for breakfast or to work and very noisy with people taking phone calls - plus the constant loud piped music. We had booked this hotel for the working areas that unfortunately were not that comfortable. Also the staff were not that friendly it was almost like you were inconveniencing them asking for something. Cleaning staff were lovely though. As women travellers it also didn't fell super safe as the hotel was like a public thoroughfare with no one really checking.

• Holly (10/5): Great hotel and location! - The hotel is in an excellent location, with easy access to the subway, making it simple to reach all the main attractions in New York. It’s also perfectly situated near great food spots, including Chinatown and Little Italy. The rooms are exactly as pictured—compact but very well designed to make the most of the space. The bed was surprisingly large and very comfortable, and there was convenient storage for luggage under the bed. The shower and toilet were also a good size, which was a nice bonus. Whilst the hotel is located on a main road, we slept so well and no noise woke us up in the night. Check-in and check-out were quick and straightforward using the tablet system, and staff were available whenever we needed assistance. Overall, the hotel felt very clean, well-decorated, and had a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. Whilst the Ipad for the room is a good tech touch, ours didn’t work for the first 2 days so we were manually opening the blinds and turning lights on, i guess if you weren’t great with technology the ipad could be a bit overwhelming but like i say there is always the manual switches in the rooms!
