• Jacobo (10/5): Ubicación inmejorable, alojamiento cómodo y personal amable y atento. - El edificio tiene una personalidad muy propia, e invita a los huéspedes a que dejen allí sus aportaciones personales. Es la primera vez que nos alojamos en un sitio así y nos encantó ese detalle. Además, los dueños del edificio son muy amables y simpáticos, igual que todas las personas que nos hemos cruzado en Estambul, que han sido encantadoras. El apartamento está muy bien: una pequeña cocina, un baño con mucho caudal de agua y bien caliente, que es lo más importante para mí junto con una cama cómoda, cosa que también incluía. Como estuvimos en invierno, la calefacción estaba encendida, pero además hay un aire acondicionado extra que puedes encender aparte para regularte la temperatura si sigues teniendo frío. También tienes acceso a la azotea, con unas vistas espectaculares de Estambul, con el Bósforo, la Mezquita Azul y la Little Santa Sofía. Aparte, quien nos entregó las llaves del apartamento fue un amigo y vecino de los dueños, también muy amable, que resultó tener un restaurante en la calle paralela llamado Dimbil, y si te alojas en este apartamento, te recomiendo mucho visitar este lugar para comer. Los precios son baratos, el personal es maravilloso y la comida, deliciosa. Aunque llevábamos años queriendo visitar el país, este viaje fue improvisado a última hora, debido a los conflictos bélicos, así que no pudimos disfrutar de Estambul como teníamos planeado. Eso significa que volveremos a la ciudad más adelante, y sin duda, nos volveremos a alojar en Green Life. Por cierto, el servicio de transfer nos gustó muchísimo: muy cómodo y profesional. En todo momento nos sentimos muy cuidados y atendidos. Lo único que podría mencionar negativo es que el edificio contiguo está en obras (igual que Santa Sofía 🥲), pero Green Life no tiene la culpa de eso, y cuando acaben las obras no habrá ruido. Realmente no podemos mencionar nada realmente negativo del alojamiento.
• Patrycja (9/5): - A great, cozy location: close to the main tourist attractions (a 5-minute walk uphill) and a quiet park with a fountain (right below the building). Just around the corner there is an atmospheric former church that has been converted into a mosque. There are shops and restaurants along the nearby local streets. The room’s décor wasn’t the newest, but it was very, very clean. On the roof of the building there is a pleasant shared terrace with an incredible view over Istanbul. Bako and Bruno were extremely helpful at every step whenever we needed anything. They recommended delicious local restaurants and helped us arrange transport to the airport. Last but not least, the price was great! The only downside was the construction work taking place behind the wall, but we consider that part of the realities of traveling.

The apartment is in very goodplace the historical area Sultanahmet close to the main attractions many restaurants and shops nearby. Silent at night you can sleep well no loud disturbing things. The apartment is clean the bed is comfortable and big. Overall its absolutely worth the money. I recommend 😊 Few more kitchen stuff would be good. More plates, knife, spoon.

• Cristiano (8/5): - Al mio arrivo ho trovato subito bako che mi aspettava all'entrata...durante il viaggio si è preoccupato di farmi trovare in aeroporto un taxi ..La posizione è buona per arrivare in centro dopo una piccola camminata di 10 minuti..Bruno e bako bravissimi e sempre pronti ad aiutarti , gentili e servizievoli addirittura si sono resi disponibili di ricevere mia suocera alle 3.30 del mattino , li ringrazio tantissimo....la mia stanza sul retro non godeva di un ottima vista ma le stanze vista mare sono bellissime..la terrazza sul tetto è stata davvero molto piacevole, bellissima vista e perfetta per rilassarsi sui divanelatti al sole ...la stanza mi è risultata pulita ...la scala per arrivare al 4 piano un po faticosa ma ha il suo fascino, bruno e bako sempre pronti per aiutarti con le valige quindi nessun problema....qualità prezzo direi ottimo...sicuramente tornerei volentieri.. Io Sono stato una settimana e quindi fornirei un po di più la cucina di accessori per non dover sempre mangiare al ristorante..e purtroppo c'è solo una piastra elettrica ma lo sapevo....se ci fosse la possibilità di vedere la TV con qualche canale nella mia lingua non sarebbe male , ma sempre perché io sono rimasto una settimana ..comunque tutto ottimo siamo stati benissimo..

• Leonie (4/5): Gute Lage, wenig Comfort - Lage und Dachterrasse sind sehr gut. Wir kamen spät nachts an, hatten aber vorher Kontakt mit der Unterkunft. Leider öffnete uns bei der Ankunft erst nach langem Warten jemand. Die Küche hatte kaum Geschirr und war auch sonst schlecht ausgestattet (es gab einen Kühlschrank und einen Wasserkocher sowie eine Herdplatte ohne Töpfe/Pfannen). Außerdem ist das Haus an sich in die Jahre gekommen.

• anna_loves_traveling (9/5): Convenient stay with lovely hosts - Looks like on the photos. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. Communication was great! We enjoyed the view from the rooftop terrace. Everything was spotless and surprisingly quiet for a city location. The house is right next to a small park with a playground—perfect for our child. The location is convenient for exploring the city on foot; just be prepared for quite a bit of an uphill walk to reach the main sights and public transport. The only downside was the kitchen, which felt a bit under-equipped. A few basics—like additional dishes, cutlery, kitchen towels, and perhaps another stool so that two people can sit comfortably—would make it even better.

The seating on roof terrace is a great place to sit and look out to sea or over the city. Apartment: The apartment was perfect for us. Spotlessly clean, well provisioned and everything was in perfect order. It is the cleanest apartment we have ever rented! Service: Bruno, the owner could not be more friendly and helpful.

The accommodation is excellent, spacious, in a beautiful area, a great location for exploring Istanbul on foot. For further sightseeing we used the tram and bus that stop near the accommodation. A recommendation for accommodation from the heart, and we will stay in this accommodation again on our next visit to Istanbul.

The location is simply perfect – nestled in an authentic and vibrant district, surrounded by cultural heritage, cozy cafés, great restaurants, and shops. Public transportation is just a short walk away, making it easy to explore the whole city. The absolute highlight was the stunning rooftop terrace with an incredible view over the city, the sea, and the beautiful Küçük Ayasofya (Little Hagia Sophia) – a peaceful place to relax and take it all in. Our host, Bruno, was amazing – always available online whenever we had questions or needed help. He was friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations. The apartment itself was clean, secure, and very comfortable – a real home away from home. We truly felt the heartbeat of the city, yet in a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

The apartment was not tight and everything was clean. It was on the 3rd floor without a lift. There was some minor noises during the day which the floor did not prevent.

• Hatice (10/5): Very nice accommodation in an amazing area!! - It’s a small apartment with its own kitchen and bathroom. The room I was staying in had a small balcony and wasn’t facing the street side so it was very calm at night. Everything was very convenient and clean. The building has an amazing roof terrace with the view on the Bosporus where you can hang out as you please. The is a breathtaking sunrise and sunset view. The terrace itself looks also very cute and well decorated. The location is superb since it’s at walking distance to all the main sights. The restaurant owners in the area are very friendly and respectful so it makes the walks in the neighborhood pleasant as well. The owners are very friendly and helpful to the extend that I befriended them. I appreciated their hospitality very much. They give very good recommendations for breakfast/lunch/dinner spots and activities, which creates an opportunity to discover more of Istanbul. I will definitely come back during my next visit in Istanbul!!

Let us leave our luggage for a few days whilst we travelled further inland. We were able to do our laundry in the hotel free of charge. Bruno let us check in to the room early. All of which made our stay very comfortable and like being at home.The roof top was great for sitting in the AM or evening. Can't fault it at all!

• Naomi (10/5): Would definitely stay again. - Stayed in the apartment with sea views. Was a really nice light and airy apartment with beautiful big windows and comfortable furnishings. Small kitchenette where we could prepare breakfast and light meals. Terrace has fantastic views. Owners were friendly and helpful. I would most definitely stay again.
• Lainie (6/5): Pleasant - The boys were very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the sheets and towels clean. Air-conditioning good too There was no where to sit in the room except for on the bed. No shade upstairs on rooftop so hard to sit there and relax if you don't want sun on you
• Yehya (9/5): Superb - Very nice hotel in the center of the old city, very clean, air conditioning and excellent Wi-Fi. Bako and all the hotel staff are very friendly and do everything they can to provide assistance to the guests, and they have all thanks and appreciation. A minor thing is that the hotel does not have an elevator, but it is minor, as there is always a hotel staff who offers a helping hand to deal with luggage. Recommended, and sure will be back again on my next trip

Bruno was friendly Tight dark stairwell ( lights did come on as you walked up stairs). No English channels but we did not mind as did not have time foe Television
• Abby (10/5): Bruno and Bako have a great hotel and provide a great Istanbul experience! - Bruno and Bako (brothers who own the hotel) were super great, welcomed us with Turkish coffee on the terrace, and provided any recommendations we needed (coffee places, breakfast, transportation questions). They truly want their guests to have a good time and are happy to join if invited! They ended up joining us for a day trip to Princes' Island and were a fun addition. 10/10 recommend, good location within walking distance to everything too. We had a guest come in at night that was very loud and scared us (it sounded like they were coming into our room and we are 2 single girls). It was all okay, but we told the boys a heads up would have been nice. They were very receptive to our feedback!

The terrace has great views and is a great social spot where you can meet other guests. The area is amazing also. I would highly recommend! No complaints

• Barnett (9/5): Great location, comfortable rooms and lovely hosts. Thanks Bako! - Stayed 4 nights, our rooms were clean and comfortable. Lovely to have aircon in 35+ degrees and we made full use of the terrace. The hosts were super helpful, great English and very quick to respond to any questions. Bako's advice to make sure we didn't overpay/get scammed was much appreciated. We walked to most attractions as the location is so central. Would certainly stay here again ;-)

Friendly and welcoming staff, Bruno and Bako. The rooftop terrace was a perfect place to relax, and enjoy an amazing view. Good vibes all round.
• Carmen (10/5): The best in Istanbul at a great price! - Everything! Location, staff, cleanliness… Nothing! Maybe if you are looking for a place to cook this is not for you, since there is no kitchen in the apartment. But we did not mind, there are a lot of restaurants nearby!

• Victoria (9/5): Very clean, very comfortable, small hotel conveniently located in the historic area. - This quaint hotel in the historical center of Istanbul is a real treat! It's set in a quiet neighborhood & yet is only blocks away from the major sites. The room was clean clean clean! & spacious enough. Modern upgrades to this older building were thoughtfully done. The common rooftop terrace provides breathtaking views of the Sea of Marmara & a fun interaction with the ever-present seagulls. I found the gulls entertaining & the terrace a welcome respite after a day of sightseeing! The two brothers who run the inn are warm, welcoming, & completely accommodating. Overall, I found Green Life Apart Hotel to be charming & a wise choice within the busyness that is Istanbul. There isn't much to dislike about Green Life Apart Hotel. However, two errors on the listing page should be corrected if they aren't already: 1) there is no breakfast available at the hotel, although there are several cafes that serve breakfast very close by & 2) there isn't a daily maid service.
• Nasri (9/5): very good Option for Isanbul. - Check in was very easy. The Host is very nice and i enjoyed coffee with him twice on the Tarrase. Room big and Clean, has everything you need. Even Washingmashine if needed Very good location. 10 min walking to reach most of the Attractions in Isatbul center No elevator.
• Angela-gabriela (7/5): Good enough - The terrace made it, nearby old center Smell in the room was terrible, we had to keep window open all the time. The AC didn't function and it wasn't repaired. We really needed it in one evening after we came wet and the hot shower didn't help us to get warmer.

• Sowmya (9/5): It was just ideal for me. I couldn’t have asked for it be be any more perfect. - The room I stayed in was lovely. Spacious and so clean. It was airy, full of light and the bed was spacious/ and pillows comfortable. It is also located very very close to all the major places. It’s walkable distance from the center. Bruno and Bako are just wonderful and warm hosts. Patient and present for anything needed. I am very glad I chose this place to stay. I travelled solo and it was super comfortable for me. I highly recommend the place to stay for everyone - solo, couples, family. Nothing I can think of now.
• Dale (10/5): Look no further, the Green Life is as good as it gets. - Location, value, facilities, comfort, cleanliness, helpfulness of staff were all impeccable and the terrace was spectacular. A joy to stay there. Not applicable, the place was perfect.
