Views of sunrise over the ocean from bed and sunset from the front deck over the mountains. Huge kitchen and living space. Access to walks and close walking to shops. Garage parking. Coffee machine with pods. Free internet. Washer and dryer! Kitchen with all amenities. No air conditioning - perfect for spring and autumn months, curtains, fan in bedroom (only) and sea breeze helps. Strange bathroom open to bedroom so toilet sounds/smells are shared. Could do with a bathroom floor mat and pump hand soap but that’s my preference from a bar of soap.

The owners have thought about every minor detail carefully making sure their guests felt at home. Spacious spaces with a massive bedroom. It was just super comfortable. And the outstanding sunrises was cream on the top! There was nothing to dislike.

• Gerald (9/5): A comfortable apartment with a great view. - The apartment is comfortably furnished with good quality furniture and fittings. The space and open plan make it an attractive property. The apartment is the top level of a house and there is another below that appears to be lived in permanently. The view is great although it is not the view pictured as this is from the lower apartment. It is a very large and open plan residence with a nice patio. We enjoyed watching the whales. The kitchen is well equipped. There are some stairs to walk up to the living area. There was a very nice cheese and fruit platter and a bottle of wine in the fridge for us when we arrived. Overall it is a very comfortable apartment with a great view. There are, however, a couple of points to make. As many others have mentioned the bathroom design is strange. The bathroom can’t be closed off so if the bathroom is used during the night the bedroom is lit up too. Also the often mentioned lack of privacy. Maybe not an issue for some. We could not connect to the internet. We sent a message to the owners but received no reply so assume there is no internet available. The owners were not always responsive. Having paid for the accommodation before we arrived we asked a couple of times for Check in instructions which they were reluctant to give us. We eventually were sent a message with the lock box number and instructions the day before we arrived. Lastly, the cobwebs need to be cleaned away. There are so many inside and outside. The place is clean but the cobwebs remain.

• Timothy (10/5): This is the best property for a soothing escape. - It is exquisite, the view from every room, it was jaw dropping. The property feels like a spa. I could have stayed there a lifetime.

Everything was very comfortable and the villa was well equipped with all you would need. just bring a beach towel, food and yourself. Wi-Fi was excellent. The villa is very roomy. That we didn't stay longer. If you don't want to cook, for an evening meal, you will need to drive. Nambucca Heads is about 25 min drive.

Modern kitchen with basic utensils and good loungeroom set up. Not very clean with dirt, cobwebs, dead insects throughout. General and easy maintenence lacking for such a nice property including very dirty windows and mould in a few places. Main showerhead broken and bedroom very hot with no crossbreeze from ocean - no aircon at all. A good deep clean needed.

Have already recommended it to my family and friends. Great communication, clean facilities, beautiful platter on arrival and memories that will last a lifetime. • Slarkie (9/5): MAGNIFICENT HEADLAND VIEWS - We loved our couple of nights at Scotts Head, and Oceanscape (Villa 1) was a great place to stay. Its views out to the wild ocean are nothing but spectacular, and we loved the nearby cliff top walk. You expect a certain standard in accordance with the price you pay & at $300/night Villa 1 just scrapes in. It's certainly got spaciousness with a capital S and the king bed is very comfortable - and what a massive bathroom area - with a spa bath too! In the kitchen the many ammenities are modern and in fairly good order, and the dining area enjoys great views, but we loved having the large ocean facing verandah for wining & dining. There's a TV lounge area with the most comfie relaxer chairs we've experienced and there are more electronic toys than I've ever seen. Complimentary bottle of bubbles in the fridge was much appreciated. Highly recommended.
• Alf (9/5): hard to find a location like this for the price - the space ,the master bedroom,views all fantastic very private villa the driveway and car park a bit tricky very exited to see twin shower heads but unfortunately one of the shower heads was broken the toilet was for me not very private the property is aprox 4-5 hrs drive from where we live ,if closet is probably cost very regularly
• Heather (9/5): A very special place and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay but not an easy track down to the beach. - The view was spectacular and we loved going to sleep listening to the sound of the ocean. We wished we’d packed hiking boots because it is a goat track to get down to the beach. There’s a nice walk called the goanna trail but the track is a bit rough in parts especially after rain so we didn’t get far.

There were lovely cross breezes but no air conditioning manoeuvring out of the garage was challenging There was no clothes drying stand but a dryer provided . The balcony was quite slippery from rain and sea spray. All minor issues which didn’t really affect our ability to enjoy our stay

• Lynda (5/5): A spacious villa in a great location, but need a bit of attention to live up to the “luxury” status. - Villa was located right on the grassy cliff top of Scotts Head overlooking the rocky beach, just a few blocks out of the little town centre. Stunning views from the grassy area outside the Villa. It was very spacious, and had all the essential needs for a short stay. Locating and accessing the property, and communications with owner was easy. I wasn’t expecting a lot of stairs right from the front door to the living area. This really should have been clearly disclosed. Villa was a bit tired and in need of repair to maintain it’s “luxury” label. The furniture was dated and decor a bit thrown together. One of the major issues was the lack of curtains in the bedroom. They were just missing. With an east facing window there was no chance of a sleep in, not to mention privacy. The large bathroom window has a sheer blind, but did not provide full privacy. There were patches in the plaster that hadn’t been attended to and quite a few bugs on the ceiling. I love the sound of the waves and always prefer properties close by, but we found the louvre windows in the bedroom provided no sound protection at all at night, despite the description including soundproofing. Along with the lack of curtains we didn’t really get much sleep. We had a two night stay during wet weather, and while there was a lot of space, was in a fabulous location, spending a lot of time in the Villa was a little disappointing. There’s really a lot of work needed for the Villa to live up to it’s luxury status.
• Cody (9/5): An excellent property that gave us an excellent experience. - We really enjoyed the location and the facilities of the property. it is absolutely gorgeous and we would love to come back next year The only thing I would suggest is getting some curtains for the bedroom. The current curtains in the bedroom did not block out the entire room meaning that when we woke up in the morning, the sun shone right into us.

• Brad (4/5): Disappointing - After two nights and using the spa, we discovered the curtains in the bathroom are seethrough (something that is easy not to notoce from inside) with a direct line of vision to the occupied house next door. This left us feeling violated.
