Laundry prices were very high, we walked down the road to a local laundromat and it was 8 times cheaper than what was quoted so would suggest looking at the nearby places for those services

We had a water pump on the roof that went on and off, it was a bit annoying during the night. We addressed that with the staff, and hopefully it will get fixed.

• Valeriia (7/5): - I really enjoyed my stay at Mokko. The location is great — it's peaceful and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Cleaning was provided daily upon request, and water refills were also available every day. The staff were always available at the reception, even during the night. The parking area for both cars and bikes is conveniently located right next to the property. 1)There were ongoing issues with hot water. Several times I had to go to my gym just to take a shower because there was no hot water at all in the apartment — it was freezing. 2)Water was leaking from the pool of the apartment above and dripping directly onto my balcony, so I couldn’t sit there. It happened multiple times. I called the reception, but they weren’t able to resolve it. 3)The kitchen was not fully equipped — some items for cooking were missing.

• Matthew (6/5): Looks and price manipulation can be quite deceiving. - The suite was a generous size. The included breakfast was good size and tasted pretty good. Staff were efficient and friendly. - Poor location - 20+ minute uphill walk to main road. Must have a scooter if you want to explore Bali. - Countless fruit flies and mosquitoes in our room every night. Felt like we were camping. - Hot water is slow. No big issue. Just turn on shower 10 minutes before showering. - No bathroom curtain/blind. - Damp marks in ceiling - Shower needs a good scrub. Attention to detail in cleaning is lacking. - No dishwashing capability, and supplied cutlery wasn’t very clean. - Room photographs well but is old & tired - No Netflix - No safety deposit box - Breakfast tasted good, but as it comes from a cafe offsite, it was nearly cold. Could give customers a voucher so they can visit the cafe for hot food. - The big issue I have is that the ad suggested the room was around $350+ AUD per night but was reduced on our selected dates to $70 AUD per night. We selected this property because we thought it was a premium property with great discount because we booked last minute. It’s false. I selected random dates, months in advance and it still shows you’re getting a massive saving. It’s deceptive and dishonest. We have stayed in a much cleaner, newer hotel in Seminyak in a far far superior location for $65 per night. We really regret being lured in by the thought we were getting a premium room at a hugely discounted rate.

• Emily (4/5): Do not bother!! - The staff were nice. The pool was clean. The bed sheets were old and stained, the place was covered in ants. The couch had an ant hive growing. The entire building needs a knock down, mould growing everywhere. The couches and the chairs were old and disgusting. We were bitten by so many unknown bugs, the entire place was disgusting. Wouldn’t waste the money to stay!! Tried to tell the staff but limited English and they didn’t care to know.

• Elise (7/5): Good for value - The room size is spacious, with kitchenette and breakfast table. Love the toilet, comes with a nice bathtub, separated wc and shower area. The balcony overlooking the pool is cosy. The receptionist is very friendly, always greet us with big smile. The location is slightly far from the main bustle street. With motorcycle or car, it works fine. The hair dryer provided in the room is too small that it almost doesn't help with drying hair.
• Adina (6/5): The property is not maintained. - The hotel is outdated and shabby, unrenovated, with furniture warped from humidity, torn, stained, and yellowed bedding. There’s a smell of mold.
• Netty (8/5): Overall, great stay - The room was absolutely massive with great layout and amenities like bathtub, functional small kitchen, big fridge etc. Staff are friendly and have a quick response (e.g. when you call to request a refill on water). Room could be cleaned everyday according to guest's preference and only takes about 15mins so you could wait by the pool. Beautiful pool setup with great lounging chairs. Location is close enough to main streets in Seminyak, without being too close to all the noise and busy atmosphere. Overall, would recommend :) My room didn't have sheers, so once you open the curtains during the day, everyone outside can see you inside (have to close curtains when dressing up etc). The AC in my room seemed a bit old and low on maintenance and ended up giving me a nasty cold/cough. No restaurant

The room looked brilliant, but on settling down, I noticed the bed spread had a 'stain' on it, 2 back sliding doors could not be locked, and the bathroom didn't look well cleaned. The room smelt mouldy, and the air-conditioner seemed like the vents had not been cleaned for a long time. I ended up getting a chest infection from g his, which I am still nursing. The hotel is placed down a bend, and all taxi drivers kept missing it. In not sure if the address on grab differs from the address given on booking.com

• Mathew (8/5): Overall an over average stay! - The room is large plenty of space and decor is modern. We love the king size bed the most it is super comfy and had a great night sleep every night. Located in a quiet neighbourhood far from night life and beach. The pool area is quiet and serene peaceful to just laze at the deck chairs. The room floor was a little dusty and some corners of the room a little dirty. We asked housekeeping to clean it thoroughly daily. There was no convenience stores nearby and location is a little far from the main shopping and eatery strip.

The location of the property made it difficult to walk places and hard to acquire a taxi at short notice. We found fleas in our bed and just felt that the place needed an overall clean.

• Annabelle (6/5): Pleasant - The staff were very friendly. The woman on reception was very lovely and accommodating. The room was really big and the bed was extremely comfortable Unfortunately, the room was very dirty. Despite room service being done daily, there was literally dust and dirt all over the floor you could feel it under your feet. This hotel has so much potential but they need to just spend the money and fix it up so it looks clean and modern, then they can charge a little more for accommodation and it would be worth it.
• Ali (2/5): Not recommended! - Staff friendliness and room size. Totally different experience from what I expected by seeing the pictures. The building is too old - at least it looks too old - and it hasn't been maintained properly. Everything metal is rusted! There is no bar or restaurant or at least a kitchen for breakfast. If you get breakfast included in your deal you have to choose from a menu supplied by an outside restaurant which the food was terrible! What bothered us most was our room was close to reception and every night the reception person was talking to someone very loudly and we had to call every night asking them to be quiet so we could sleep! (Literally every night!!) very unprofessional!! Room cleanliness has room for improvement.

The staff were very friendly the price was very reasonable. With traffic it was a bit of a drive to town, no restaurants in walking distance or shops.

The location was easy to get to things around Cangu and Seminyak The property needs to be updated, they need maintenance badly. The rooms could be cleaned better the nooks and crannies of the rooms had dust. In addition, I saw a frog, wal gecko and had a lot of mosquito bites during my stay.

• Soka (10/5): Very happy with this villa. I’ll be coming back - Beautiful room. With a shower and bath. It’s beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. They have a stove and a big enough fridge. A few local delis 5 minute walk from the villa for water and snacks. The staff are so nice and welcoming. Breakfast included Not a problem, but there’s no microwave.
• Lindsay (1/5): After viewing the rooms on our arrival, we decided not to stay. We left immediately and managed to find overnight accomm - Looks good from the outside. Swimming pool area is pleasant. The entire property more specifically the rooms are in disrepair. The property is in dire need of extensive repairs and maintenance. This property is rated 8.6. It might have been that rating 10 years ago, certainly not now. Photos of the property on your website is an extreme misrepresentation.

Also I think the reviews are fake because there were not many people but a lot of 10 given everyday on booking from people with the same name. People can’t put a ten on a scam like this. The breakfast was poor, not real juice it tasted like meds, no fruits, not even straws or forks. We were just waiting for this nightmare to end.

• Mel (4/5): Quiet location but facilities not up to par - Quite area so no noise from scooters / cars / bars. Staff are lovely and really do everything they can to accommodate requests (we struggled to sleep due to noise from neighbouring rooms and got upgraded for free after bringing it to the staff’s attention). No warm water in rooms. No bar. No restaurant. Breakfast (a la carte, no buffet) was not good - we tried multiple things on the menu. Location far from central, on a closed street so no shortcuts to any bars/restaurants (closest is about 15min walk). Rooms are not soundproof - we didn’t sleep well for our entire trip because of neighbours next to us and above us (even after complaining and being upgraded to the very top room, we still had trouble sleeping). Aircon next door was broken and they were repairing it well past 8pm, banging in roof etc.
