• Kate (9/5): Comfy and central apartment in Firenze - Lorenzo was extremely helpful and friendly, greeting us at the apartment to explain everything and allowing early check-in. The apartment was set-up for our family of 4 with two single beds in the bedroom and one queen sized sofa bed in the living room. Apartment very clean with small kitchen and utensils provided. The location is very central, close to the station, market and easy walk to all the main attractions. Being on the street of the leather market was quite noisy late into the night and early in the morning. Might not be ideal for light sleepers.

• Melanie (9/5): Nice stay! - The host Lorenzo is a wonderful person and very detail-oriented in his communications. We had the 2 bedroom apartment. It was comfortable for the 2 of us and very clean and had all we needed (though it would be cramped for more than 2 people). Despite being on a bustling street the apartment is very quiet as it faces the other side. We really appreciated being able to message Lorenzo to adjust the heat temperature from his phone, as often in Italy we found heating in buildings was automatic without the ability to have it adjusted. The only minor issues were the shower being quite cramped and while there was shampoo and conditioner, there was no kind of soap to use for the shower.

Host is really warm and welcoming. he responds to my messages immediately and is very accommodating. There is plenty of bars, restaurants, supermarkets around. Self check-in super easy and quick, no problem at all. Good value for money Might not be big enough for five of us travelling as a family, but overall, really good and we did enjoy our stay in florence

He was very responsive to our needs and ensure that we had a great stay. As there were several seniors in our group, we were very grateful that he also kindly helped with the luggages. He also recommended us good food places, supermarket and laundry services. The area was very vibrant with good food and shopping. In addition to the museums, we also went to a nail spa and escape room nearby. The apartment was well equipped. Moka pot with great coffee was provided. Great stay for the family. Nil

• Julie (10/5): A true gem in Florence - Perfect 2 bedroom apartment for staying in Florence. All the comforts of home and Florence attractions are a short(15 minute or less) walk away. We had it configured for 3 people with a full size bed and 2 twins. The owner was so helpful and provides all the information about the area. If you are looking for leather items you are positioned next to the Mercato Centrale and the leather market. 10 out of 10, We would stay here again. Only thing is 20 steps to get to the door, a little exercise never hurt.

• Alexander (10/5): - The flat is ideal because it contains all the necessary comforts that one would need to have a great stay. It was spotlessly clean and had every amenity included. The location, in front of Mercato Central and just a few minutes walk from the city centre make this place a real gem. And to top it all up, Lorenzo, the flat owner is the most helpful and dear person one could ever hope to meet. He not only greeted us and explained everything we needed to know about the flat, but also gave us gerela guidance and helpful tips about the city itself. We cannot think of anything that can fault this property.

Had most everything we needed although a bit tight for 4 adults. Beds were okay - best for family with small children. Would have appreciated a few more kitchen tools (bread knife, paring knife). Limited storage space / not able to hang things.
• Bryan (9/5): Convenient and comfortable location near the heart of Florence, with a helpful and responsive host. - Lorenzo is a great host. He communicated frequently and with clear instructions for every step. He assisted us with navigating parking, finding good restaurants, and facilitated a late checkout for us. The apartment is next to the San Lorenzo markets, so at 8am or so you can hear everyone setting up their stalls. It may be noisy if you are a late and light sleeper.

The apartment was a little smaller than we expected.

• Emily (9/5): Superb - We loved our stay in the apartment, beautiful big space for two people with kitchen facilities adequate for simple meals at home. A great shower with good pressure and space. The large bedroom was comfortable and also had plenty of space. Lorenzo was wonderful and helpful to deal with. Highly recommended for a few nights in Florence, everywhere is easy walking distance. It is directly above the San Lorenzo markets, so be prepared to hear the pack up at night and set up each morning, though it never bothered us.

Located in walking distance to all major sights, across was the amazing market and about 10 min walk from the Santa Maria Novella Station. Lorenzo was helpful with all instructions and helped with the luggage to the apartment. 1. Not true to its description: no seating area with sofa, no dining area with dining table.(instead a chair for seating area and a small corner table with kid stools for dining see pic) 2. No internal views to a patio or city as stated in listing.(Views to the neighbours laundry hanging on the line and their roof slates and air conditioner units) 3. Extremely bad smell coming from the bathroom and mould in the shower. 4. Extremely small and claustrophobic for a family of 4 with teenage boys, made it very hard to want to come back from doing things in the city with extreme heat and want to relax. 5. This apartment was the most disappointing part of Florence.

Walking distance to train station, good food (with a food court just opposite) and easy access to attractions. Great friendly host, and the property was equipped with everything you would need. We got one of the 2 apartments with a shared main door. Ours was a two bedroom, and so had a small space for a dining area.
• Jacki (10/5): Beautiful apartment in a super location - The location is amazing, less than 10 minutes to walk from the main train station and right on the edge of San Lorenzo market. Also an easy walk to the Duomo, Uffizi and Ponto Vecchio. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was super clean. The decor in the apartment is beautiful. Lorenzo, the host, was very welcoming and helpful. The apartment is up on the first floor so be aware that you have to climb a flight of stairs to reach it (I have knee problems but managed the stairs so they're not too bad). I I would have no hesitation in staying there again if I get another chance to visit beautiful Florence. Nothing. It was lovely.

Great communication/ connection with guests The location - very central The charm - decor, feel, ambience - it's a cute place The peace & quiet - although in a busy area the place was really quiet/ calm (as the apartment is at the back of the building) The condition - it was really clean, everything worked, The open kitchen/ living room was smaller than expected, but it was fine (for three). For four people, it might be a bit tight. There were only two comfy chairs, for example, as it's too small for three/ four comfy chairs, so small wooden stools were provided, instead. It's a small but not a big issue.
• Watson (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was stunning. We were met by the owner who showed us inside. Three doors and very secure with a small safe inside for passports and other items. Fully explained the place, the 16 century ceiling murals and walls and was contactable at any time. The beds are so comfortable in white linen, the kitchen we never used but was great with an amazing market outside the 9 why cook? The bathroom is modern and a perfect blend of new and old. Its in the city centre within 30 seconds of the first of the attractions and so easy to get around. The market opposite is stunning. Ground floor is food heaven for all things chese, meats, veg etc etc. Ustairs its got every typeoffoodpossible in Italy. Dont be on a diet!. Oh its so perfect. Do stay here, it's thebest place I've ever been to. Only that I don't live in Florence and couldn't stay longer.

• Gary (10/5): A delightful apartment conveniently located within the main historical part of Florence. - The apartment is run by Lorenzo, a caring friendly host who offers a comfortable, quiet and clean accommodation in a very convenient location, directly across from the main Central Market of Florence. He recommended a number of excellent Tuscan restaurants, and helped us get a booking in a popular restaurant that is typically booked out. We highly recommend staying here! The only thing missing is a little balcony to sit outside with a coffee or a glass of Chianti.

We loved everything about the stay and would stay again!
• Irina (9/5): Superb - I enjoyed the general aspect of the flat, especially the paintings on the ceilings. The location was perfect, in the center of the city but close to the railway station, also. The silence of the apartment, even if we were in the middle of the market, (inner court view from the windows, but I preferred the silence to the view from the room, as we did not come to Florence to stay in the room). Everything was clean. Kitchen offered almost anything necessary. The host was so kind and even offered us a bottle of Chianti upon arrival, coffee and tea offered also. Cold in the night.

He gave us detailed directions for our arri - The property was in a fantastic location, close to all the attractions of Firenze and the train station. Central Market across the street was an amazing bonus for quick meals or snacks. A lot of hustle and bustle outside during the day with the market and street vendors, but surprisingly quiet at night. Would have liked something more comfortable to sit on in main room, but understand , as space is limited in the city. We made due, and appreciated all the available amenities, such as microwave, coffee maker, tea kettle, etc.

It’s authentic, comfortable and good value. - Beautiful apartment in a great location, close to the railway station and in easy walking distance to the city centre. It was perfect for our family. The host was good at communicating all we needed to know before we arrived and was responsive, helpful and kind while we were there. He provided good recommendations for restaurants and other local information. The apartment is really quiet despite being on a busy market street. Highly recommend!

He is also quick to respond over WhatsApp communication. The apartment is standard 2 room, small kitchen and good size bathroom. The shower was a modern and a good size. He was also very gracious to leave enough rolls of toilet paper for those of us who don't use the 'bidet' toilet. The market across the street has an amazing food court. So when you're tired of pasta and gelato's you can grab a SMASH BURGER with bacon!! The apartment is within walking distance to every major site and restaurant. Along with laundry facilities and the train station. This apartment is perfect for 4 people. No more than that though. Cons = none

The shower was the biggest and best of all 8 showers we had on this trip to Italy. Lorenzo was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. He went out of his way to greet us and have the apartment ready for us. He was a great communicator before and during our time there. The welcome bottle of wine was unexpected and very much appreciated. We would love to stay here again when returning to Florence. There was a considerable amount of loud music coming from the Mercato Centrale on Thursday night until about midnight.

He responds to my questions always quickly and helpfully. Everything is perfect here. We were even welcomed by a red wine from him! He left to my parents a truly great impression of Italian people. • Sue (10/5): Lorenzo the host was amazing, very attentive even helping us with our luggage on arrival and departure. - We loved everything about the apartment. All our needs were catered for very comfortable and beautifully decorated especially the original historical frescoes. It was only a short walk to all the main attractions of Florence. We felt very safe and secure. There was nothing to dislike.

Situated in the heart of the city, it provided easy access to all the main attractions including the breathtaking Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore, as well as numerous shops and restaurants. Lorenzo, our host, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Despite our late check-in due to a delay, he greeted us warmly and was readily available whenever we needed assistance. His thoughtful gesture of leaving a bottle of wine as a welcoming gift added a special touch to our experience. We're already looking forward to returning and staying in Lorenzo's apartment again. Highly recommended!"

• Jason (9/5): Excellent location in a wonderful city - Apartment was convenient to everything we needed. Plenty of great restuarant options plus central food market right at the front door, only 5-10 minute walk to train station and tour bus station. Lorenzo (Host) met us at the apartment and showed us how everthing worked plus provided some great tips and a handy map showing some good local restaurants, supermarket & laundrette etc.
• Hee (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, very clean and good maintained, we really enjoyed staying at San Lorenzo Apartment. 😀 We couldn't find the heating controling as on-off information first night.
• Srijani (6/5): Pleasant experience because of its location. - The location(right at the central market of Florence; within walking distance from the Duomo), and communication from the host Lorenzo. He was responsive and guided us well even in his absence.Comfortable beds. The apartment is small. Not big enough for 5 adults.

We were welcomed with a nice bottle of wine as well. Lorenzo was very accommodating to our queries and requests. Having a washing machine with a dryer would have been perfect esp for those who are staying 3 nights and above. But at least theres a laundromat just around the corner of the apartment.
