Sbonelo (9/5): - Stayed in one of the Plumbago rooms,absolutely gorgeous decor. the view of the garden from the room. Comfy bed and couch,ginormous bathroom and all the extra things you need on your get away. Peaceful and beautiful. Wifi was a bit spotty at night,but otherwise worked fine.

I made a booking that morning for that same evening (a one night stay checking out in the morning)but accidentally selected the dates for the next month. They were still able to accommodate us ,but the room I got was very dusty and had spiders and cobwebs. I know it was short notice and we arrived early in the evening( we struggled to locate the entrance of the house)but I still feel like they should have made some effort to check the rooms were fine and cleaned them a bit before putting us into the rooms

Super clean, beautiful rooms with clean fresh linen and a comfy bed. Really appreciated the underfloor heating and electric blanket at night! The staff member who welcomed me knew exactly who I was and where I was staying and check in was swift with no admin, and they also served breakfast an hour earlier for me as I had to leave which I really appreciated.

They stop serving breakfast at 9:30am. That is very early…esp for weekends. The dogs were all over, would be better if they stayed on the private property side.
