• Helen (9/5): Lovely spot in old town Coimbra!! - The breakfast basket was a very welcome treat!! The apartment was very comfortable and clean, convenient to the old town in Coimbra!! Marcia was very friendly and responsive!! Access was a little difficult once we got dropped off by the taxi!! We had to drag our luggage down many stairs which was a little challenging!! Clearer instructions about best taxi drop off point and direction from that point would be valuable!!

• Eva (8/5): Breng oordopjes mee - Dit is een heel aangenaam appartement. Licht, ruim, aantrekkelijk ingericht. Het balkon is een meerwaarde. Mooie keuken. Ontbijtmand. Zeer goed gelegen in het historische centrum. IJssalon Cosi op enkele meters is een aanrader. Ik vond het niet prettig dat ik mijn identiteitskaart moest doorsturen via e-mail of whatsapp om de toegangscode te kunnen krijgen. Booking zelf waarschuwt om dit niet te doen. Ik verbleef hier 2 nachten. Donderdag heel goed geslapen. Maar vrijdag geen oog dichtgedaan wegens nachtlawaai op straat. In het gebouw zelf ook de hele nacht door het gebiep van de voordeur als mensen binnenkomen.
• AnspruchsvollerReisender (9/5): Schönes Apartment in zentraler Lage - aber trotzdem ruhig. - Zentrale Lage, trotzdem ruhig. Gute Ausstatting. Welcome Pack für das erste Frühstück. Parken ist eine Herausforderung. Die Informationen hierzu könnten etwas ausführlicher und präziser sein.
• Heïdi (10/5): - Emplacement très agréable pour visiter, appartement chaleureux et propre avec tout le nécessaire pour un beau séjour. En bonus, un panier découverte pour déjeuner. C’était un délice!
• Ghrayeb (2/5): - The apartment had a very strong, unpleasant sewage smell that made it impossible to stay. I contacted the host immediately, but was told this was “part of the experience.” I ended up not using the apartment at all and asked to cancel the second night, but the request was refused and I was charged for both nights. Very disappointing experience.
• CLARA (10/5): Estancia perfecta en Coimbra - Estaba todo perfecto y tal cual se habia descrito. Marcia atendió todas mis preguntas muy amablemente y rápido. Por si fuera poco nos dejó una cestita con cafe, pan, naranjas, mermelada… que ya nos sirvió para desayunar. Todo un detallazo! La única pega es que había bastante ruido de la calle, pero entiendo q es inevitable y además era sábado. Cierto también qur sobre ls 00.30 paró y dormimos estupendamente

• Jeroen (9/5): Fantastische uitvalsbasis om Coimbra te ontdekken - Prachtige locatie, vriendelijke host, heerlijke douche, fijn balkon. Door de welkomstmand gelijk prettig gevoel. Prima bed! Helemaal niets!! Puntje van aandacht is het electronisch slot op de tweede verdieping. Werkt niet, maar met de backup van sleutelkluisje geen enkel probleem. Een melkpannetje en een melkkloppertje/ klutser zou het nog completer maken.
• Shui (8/5): - Position was great. Breakfast provisions were a nice touch, thank you! Balcony to watch sunset from was nice. Noise from from restaurants below but stopped around 11pm May get warm in summer without A/C but cool breeze off the Montego in the evenings.
• Jonathan (10/5): Superbe appartement avec un emplacement idéal - Superbe appartement très bien décoré et aménagé Emplacement central et idéal pour visiter Coimbra La terrasse est un gros plus L’appartement est très propre Un panier comprenant quelques fruits, du lait, de l’eau et du fromage est à disposition. C’est devenu tellement rare dans les appartements que c’est très appréciable L’isolation phonique avec la rue qui comporte quelques restaurants n’est pas idéal. La rue se calme heureusement vers 23h-minuit.
• Anne (10/5): Séjour plein d’attraits - En plein centre, quartier très agréable de jour comme de nuit bien que certaines rues proches soient délabrées.La terrasse est un must absolu. L’arrivée en voiture est difficile ( et la nôtre était une Fiat), se garer à proximité presque impossible.Nous avons laisser notre voiture au parking Bragaparques accessible très facilement, 24 heures coûtent 23euros mais la tranquillité est un plus en voyage,

• Sharon (10/5): Lovely apartment in a quiet but central street. - Location of the property is excellent, in a quiet back street with restaurant and bars on your doorstep. Apartment was comfortable and clean. Very nice balcony to spend some time on. Door access was a little tricky but host was very responsive and an alternative was provided immediately. Nothing, apartment was perfect

• Jack (7/5): Good - Location was good in old town. No aircon, so you have to keep windows open at night. Can be noisey.
• Joan (9/5): Excellent location for walking everywhere. - We loved our stay in the Story Studio. Very clean and as photographed. Communication with Marcia was good. We had a difficult time finding a nearby garage to the apartment. I would caution anyone who is arriving in Coimbra with a car to park overnight in the Bragaparques underground parking garage under the government office called Loja da Cidadao. This parking garage accepts only cash payment. You can walk from there to the Story Studio, but there will be one steep area. Story Studio is on a narrow street I would not drive on. Looking down on the street from the Studio you can overlook restaurants with outdoor seating and see pedestrians walking to and fro. In fact, if you are a light sleeper earplugs may come in handy. We enjoyed the balcony with seating which overlooks nearby rooftops. The Studio is excellently located for walking either up to the University or walking to Old Town. As represented, the apartment is up 3 flights of stairs. The Welcome basket with some breakfast treats was appreciated. Recommended. DIfficulty parking the car.

• Michael (10/5): Memorable. Wouldn’t hesitate staying here again. - Location……right in the middle of the historic district and a short walk to the river and university. We also enjoyed the Welcome Basket. It made our first day less rushed by giving us everything we needed for a nice breakfast. Marcia was a thoughtful host and very responsive when the electronic door lock wouldn’t work upon our arrival. Having to park a few blocks away and not being able to drop off our bags at the front door required a little more planning than I expected but Marcia did make the arrangement clear and offered easy to follow options that worked out well. We found a reasonably priced underground parking lot less than a 10 minute walk away.

The 30 steps up were a bit daunting but we had been forewarned. And the taxi drivers helped us with our luggage - so appreciated

The location is perfect, near a charming corner in old town Coimbra but with easy access. Marcia is very is very nice and helpful, even left a great breakfast basket with good local ingredients. I would definetly stay here again.
• Zvigule (10/5): Exceptional - Looks much better than in pictures. Really well equipped, clean and spacious for old town location. Host also prepared basked with all what’s needed to prepare really nice breakfast what was really pleasant surprise.

Lovely apartment finished to a high standard. - Beautiful accommodation but no air conditioning or fan so we had to leave windows open due to the heat but the outside noise was constant until the early hours which made sleeping very difficult. Wonderful welcome hamper of food and drink which was greatly appreciated. Spotlessly clean and very safe. Too hot without air conditioning or fans due to the extreme outside noise.
