• Nicky (1/5): Avoid this property - We could not stay in it at all. It was totally disgusting very neglected , smelt of Sewage and Drugs and had mould everywhere. Table and seating were scratched stained and smelly Rubbish bins still had refuse in them and were next to the dining table that you would use Microwave was extremely rusty inside and cooker oven was filthy . Blinds were broken and torn and unusable Overpowering Air fresheners everywhere We had to find a hotel as We didn't stay in it at all but we did video everything and we requested a full refund. • damian (7/5): Ideal location but needs some TLC - Location was ideal for what I needed. Hole/dip in mattress which was so uncomfortable. Blinds were old and ragged... Lots of spiders and not all windows opened. Tv was stuck on updating 33% for 1½ days....Washing machine wouldn't work properly (wouldn't spin).

• Fiona (10/5): A great place for a longer stay. - This apartment has everything you need for a longer stay. The kitchen is well equiped, the bathroom is a good size, and good tourist material left out. The host was welcoming and checked in that everything was ok. The only complaint was the number of air fresheners were a bit overwhelming.
• Jackie (8/5): First time mini holiday for grandchildren flying to Belfast - All as described. Great to access all attractions with the local transport a stone throw away. Lots of great eating places near by. Bus station 15 mins away. We were a family of 5 - 3 grandchildren my son and me granny 😊 Kitchen had all required if cooking and eating at the apartment ie: cups, pots, plates etc... Great communication with Anne .

• Kathy (7/5): Good - Location, facilities within apartment, close to train station We had been sent 2 sets of instructions for accessing the apartment a few days before arrival, so we had a few failed attempts gaining entry. Have stayed here a few times over the past 6 years and unfortunately, it has never been updated. There is a damp smell and the heating system which is located in bedroom makes alot of noise. Windows do not open so it is really stuffy. Sofa has been replaced since our last visit but table and chairs really needs replaced.

Also the comms from the owners was brilliant and answered any questions / issues promptly and was always on hand to help. Nothing really as it catered for all our needs and was in a perfect location .

• Elizabeth (7/5): Lovely apartment but due an upgrade. - Access to Malone place is within walking distance, around 10/15 minutes walk to the city centre with access to shops and a dominos across the road. The apartment is very warm and a cot was provided with comfortable beds. The sofa bed was not as uncomfortable as I expected so two of us slept well on that. The shower is amazing and some really lovely decorations. Upon arrival, the apartment looked clean and decorative although the window in the kitchen was open. We assumed this was due to how warm the apartment was so we left it and explained this when we received a message from the company on our last day to ensure everything is locked and windows are shut. Although the apartment was clean, not everything was thoroughly checked as there were some very questionable chips left in the oven and again this was passed over in our response to the company but there was no reply. The appliances desperately need an upgrade, the place in the microwave makes a lot of noise going around, the kettle leaks when in use and either clear instructions are needed or an upgrade for the hobs as they didn't seem to work very well. Despite needing to throw away some chips and clean the oven tray, the oven itself was not an issue. The doors in the apartment were very noisy when opening and two of them didn't shut properly. There is a second sofa in the apartment which doesn't have proper padding and not much use to sit on however the sofa which pulls out into a bed isn't too bad. On one of the nights, it rained quite heavily and there is a window in the kitchen with no access to the outside as it sits between 3 windows. The rain was hitting a can that had been thrown out and the noise it made was horrendous. Not necessarily at the fault of the owners but a warning to anyone staying that if it rains then good luck getting any sleep if you're in the living room because the apartment is also so warm, you need the window open. There are some really lovely qualities to this apartment and with some upgrades and replacement of creaky doors, there really wouldn't be much issue.

• James (8/5): Great location, very clean. Excellent customer service. - Great location, very convenient to access as a group with the security setup. Anne provided exceptional service, going out of her way to help us when I let her know we would arrive early. A little on the small side but certainly sufficient. Perfect if you intend to use it mainly as somewhere to sleep and have breakfast, as we did.

• Tomos (3/5): Don't stay. Photos don't show the while picture - Good location near some really good bars. Mould in bathroom, extractor didn't work. No plug in bathroom or kitchen. Washing machine broken amd not told before hand. Grime all over apartment. Very noisy neighbour at all hours of the day. Several of the lights had burned out bulbs.

• Thomas (10/5): Comfortable, homely and relaxed. - The property was clean, tidy and had a very homely feel to it. Fantastic location with shops within a stones throw and plenty of options to eat out and venture around the City Centre. We were definitely able to make the most of our time here in Belfast, while also feeling content in our own space. Highly recommended and would definitely consider staying here again.

• Eleanor (8/5): Fantastic location, useful hosts, fine stay for the price. - The location was absolutely fantastic for myself and colleagues travelling for work at the University. Access to the property was very convenient with the electronic lock instead of keys. The communication with the hosts was very fast and organised. The apartment was mostly clean, perhaps just not to my own expectations- it wasn't spotless but I suppose to a satisfactory standard. Some of the facilities like cabinet doors etc. could do with a little TLC. Mostly fine though for the amount of time we were in the property.

• Amanda (1/5): Filthy and foul! - Nothing. Filthy pig sty! We did not end up staying here. Changed to Hampton Hilton. There was mould and the smell of sewage inside. All surface areas were sticky and unclean. The beds had stains on the sheets! I will be sending an email demanding a full refund when I return to Australia.

We made an agreement with them that we will check in before 3 pm but they didn’t respect it we were at the airport from 9 am until 2 pm. And when we where asleep at around 5 am an alarm rang waking us up in horror and wonder

• Sally (3/5): Squalid - The only good things about this accommodation were the location, the shower and the bed linen/ bath towels were clean and fresh. Everything else very disappointing This apartment hasn’t been maintained to the standard that is photographed on the booking.com site. The walls in almost every room are covered in marks and stains, every blind is either missing or broken. No coffee machine. Kitchen surfaces were unclean, only one ring on the hob worked. Bathroom bin hadn’t been emptied since the previous occupants, which they did admittedly send the cleaner back for. Mould on the ceiling in the shower, filthy windows, broken smoke alarms, and the kitchen bin lids (reviewed on here by a previous guest last year) are still broken. Crockery and cutlery is scant - don’t plan on eating in if there’s more than 3 of you. We had multiple apologies and assurances that they would put all this right for future guests, which doesn’t make any difference whatsoever to our stay.

• Verified traveler (6/5): A lovely place - The honest answer is that I wasn't able to stay in the place that I booked, however the host arranged for us to stay elsewhere, the alternative accommodation was fine but it was in a contested part of Belfast and a bit of a distance from where I had intended my base to be. I cannot fault the cleanliness or the attention to detail and quality of the alternative place. It was nice of the original host to facilitate us
• CF709 (6/5): - Brand new. Trouble with wifi entire trip for which owner reimbursed us for our troubles. Apartment was on main floor so mistaken as a main entrance to the building by some very aggressive drunk people in the middle of one night during our stay. Very scary. Owner said this was unusual.
