• Stefan (10/5): Ein Paradies im Paradies. - Ein Paradies im Paradies. Unglaublich schöne Unterkunft mit viel Liebe zum Detail in der gesamten Anlage. Alles sehr sauber. Frühstück sehr schmackhaft und man konnte aus verschiedenen Optionen auswählen. Es gibt einen Pool mit Bar (Selbstbedienung) Handtücher sind gratis. Gastgeber und das Personal sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit in allen Fragen. Viele Tiere ( Aras, Faultier, Kolibris )sind direkt zu Beobachten und sehen, auch dank Teddy. Zum Strand läuft man 1 Minute, hohe Wellen und bei unserem Aufenthalt starke Strömung. Ein Mietauto ist nötig, um Restaurants zum Essen zu erreichen. Leider vergeht alles viel zu schnell und wir wären gern länger geblieben. Absolut weiter zu empfehlen. Da gab es nichts zu beanstanden.

• Stephen (10/5): We stayed 9 nights and found it to ba a perfect B&B for exploiting the area and just relaxing at the pool on the pro - The owners were great with communication before and during and they are on site making sure the stay was perfect. Great pool, a nice breakfast with multiple choices of eggs, pancakes (Dutch), fresh fruit and smoothies, granola and oatmeal. We looked forward to the homemade bread each morning. You can walk to the beach and the local market. The grounds are beautifully maintained and lots of wildlife to be seen on the property including sloths and monkeys along with all the birds. Nothing to dislike every detail was as it should be and you can tell the property was built as a B&B and was well thought out.

• Bianca (9/5): Wunderschönes Ambiente fern von Tourismus - Ein wunderschönes Ambiente fern von Tourismus. Beim Ankommen wurden wir freundlich von Teddy begrüßt, welcher uns sogleich drei Faultiere und Affen präsentierte sowie einen detailreichen Check-In lieferte. Die Zimmer sind sehr einladend, ebenso der Pool. Das Frühstück war äußerst großzügig. Lettika und ihr Team sind mit Herzblut dabei und legen Wert auf Liebe zum Detail. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Für den nächsten Supermarkt, das nächste Restaurant sollten etwa 20min Fußweg eingeplant werden. Tipp: Das Restaurant "Supper Club" ist äußerst empfehlenswert.

• Karin Then (10/5): 5 Tage im Paradiesgarten - Wir haben als Paar 5 wunderbar entspannte, ruhige Tage hier im Paradiesgarten, 150m vom Pazifik entfernt verbracht. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und geschmackvoll gestaltet, mit großem Badezimmer u Klimaanlage. Es gibt einen offenen Frühstücksbereich und einen Pool mit Kaffeebar und Getränken, vor den Zimmern warten auf kleinen Terrassen die Hängematten. Mit einem feinen Frühstück nach Wahl beginnt im Garten der Tag. Die gute Seele im Haus ist Teddy, der sich immer freundlich, liebenswürdig und aufmerksam um die Gäste kümmert. Wir möchten das B&B sehr gerne weiterempfehlen und würden sehr gerne wiederkommen. Keine Angabe
• Katharina (10/5): Wunderschöner Aufenthalt - Es war einfach nur wunderschön. Alles sehr auf hohem Niveau. Sehr bequemes großes Bett mit butterweicher Bettwäsche. Ds Frühstück wurde frisch zubereitet und man hat eine Auswahl aus 3 Menüs. Es wird auch großer Wert auf Mülltrennung gelegt und keine Einwegverpackungen. Affen sind direkt über unserer Terrasse geklettert und man konnte sie eine halbe Stunde lang beobachten. Das Haus liegt etwas abseits, also braucht man ein Auto. Hat aber in kurzer Distanz sehr gute Restaurants. Teddy war so herzlich und hat uns alles gezeigt. Mit seiner fröhlichen Art hat er uns schon beim frühstücken den Tag versüßt. Auch die Chefin ist sehr nett. Alles in allem ein wundervoller Aufenthalt. Es gab gar nichts

• Annelies (9/5): We had a comfortable, cosy stay. Thank you! - We loved the garden, the room was comfortable, and the beach was beautiful. The pool was great. The surrounding area was a bit underserved in terms of being able to walk to things, so we had to drive for most meals and activities. But it was beautiful and not over-touristed like nearby towns.

• Iris (9/5): - Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen! Die Lage ist wenig touristisch erschlossen – genau das hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Wer nach einem strammen Programm in Costa Rica auch noch ein bisschen Ruhe und Erholung einplant, ist hier genau richtig. In fußläufiger Entfernung gibt es ein Restaurant, für weitere Ausflüge oder Restaurantbesuche ist ein Mietwagen empfehlenswert. Der Strand ist einfach traumhaft – und nahezu menschenleer, perfekt zum Abschalten. Die gesamte Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, klar strukturiert und wirkt insgesamt hervorragend organisiert und gut geführt. Persönlich empfanden wir die Abläufe teilweise als etwas stärker reglementiert, als wir es erwartet hatten. Insgesamt ist die Anlage jedoch ein wunderbarer Ort zum Entspannen und Erholen, den wir gerne weiterempfehlen.

• Maarja (10/5): - We wished we had stayed longer in this place. Time stopped there, when being in the middle of nature. You don't even have to go to national parks to see the animals, they have sloths, monkeys, hummingbirds, iguanas etc wandering in and around the property. You could see in every step that owners have a special attention to details in a good way (quality of the building e.g soundproofing, little gestures at the breakfast, they make sure you have all the information you'd need for a perfect vacation). Breakfast was exceptional.

Udało nam się zamienić pokój na parterze na piętro z dużym tarasem ibwidokiem na ogród z basenem i polecamy ten nowy pokój numer 8. Niestety jedna noc w pokoju 2 zgodnym z rezerwacja mocno odbiegala standardem od pierwszych dwóch. Ale to nasz błąd przy rezerwacji. Wszystko w obiekcie jest czyste, dobrej jakości. Obsługa bardzo dba o zadowolenie gości. Miznabkorzystac z napojów wbdobrze zaopatrzonej lodówce za opłatą. To miejsce jest faktycznie w centrum dżungli i nie trzeba nawet nigdzie wychodzić żeby podziwiać wiele egzotycznych gatunków fauny i flory. Do plaży krotki spacer. I jest bardzo ładnie, bezpiecznie i czysto. Śniadania bardzo smaczne i ładnie podane. Bardzo polecam to miejsce. Choć starsze pokoje proszą się o odnowienie. Do tego hotel ma bardzo wygodny parking.

• Marjolijn (8/5): - Wij hadden 2 mooie kamers naast elkaar gelegen op de begane grond, met heerlijke hangmatten. Bedden zijn uitstekend, sanitair prima en goede airco. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam, er werd heel uitvoerig uitleg gegeven over hoe alles werkt en tips voor restaurants. Dat mag wat ons betreft wel een beetje minder. Voor het ontbijt zijn er een aantal keuzes mogelijk, wij vonden het jammer dat de typische gallo pinto er niet bij stond. Ook vonden wij standaard 1 gebakken eitje, of roereitje een beetje aan de weinige kant, waarbij ik moet zeggen dat je meer kan vragen. Heel leuk zijn de aapjes die elke dag wel langskomen, er was ook een luiaard in de tuin.

• Sabine (10/5): Entspannung pur - Sehr netter Empfang, Atmosphäre ruhig und familiär. Liebevoll gestalteter und gepflegter Garten mit Affen, Kolibris und Faultieren. Schöner Pool mit Poolbar (in Selbstbedienung) und Kaffee. Leckeres Frühstück: Wir konnten wählen zwischen selbstgebackenem Brot, Dutch Pancake und Müsli. Dazu gab es frisches Obst, Saft und Kaffee. Alles hübsch angerichtet und ohne Plastik. Auf Nachhaltigkeit wird hier wertgelegt. Die ganze Anlage ist tiptop in Ordnung und unser Zimmer ist schön, praktisch und alles funktioniert. Wunderschöner, natürlicher, ruhiger Strand mit feinem Sand. Wir haben nach einer 2-wöchigen Gruppen-Rundreise hier noch 5 Tage zum Entspannen und Erlebnisse verarbeiten verbracht. Das war perfekt.
• Beth (10/5): Quiet retreat at the end of an adventurous day exploring the National Parks - Immaculately clean. The owner and staff are professional and friendly. It is conveniently located between Quepos and Dominical. It’s a very quiet location, perfect for resting up for your next excursion. Plenty of monkeys, sloths, and macaws to be found in the garden and nearby. A short walk down the lane and across the street and you are on the beach.

Wunderschöner Sonnenuntergang am Strand. Ruhige und idyllische Lage, mit dem Auto sind die Sehenswürdigkeiten wie Manuel Antonio oder Uvita einfach zu erreichen.

Das gesamte Team war außergewöhnlich freundlich, aufmerksam und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war makellos sauber, modern eingerichtet und sehr komfortabel. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die Liebe zum Detail, die man überall im Hotel spürt. Die Betten waren bequem, sodass wir wunderbar schlafen konnten. Das Frühstück war ein echtes Highlight: frisch, vielfältig und von hervorragender Qualität. Auch die Atmosphäre im Hotel ist einfach toll – ruhig, entspannt und gleichzeitig sehr stilvoll. Die Lage des Hotels ist ideal und perfekt ca. 150m zum Strand. Fazit: Eine Unterkunft die keine Wünsche offenlässt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. • Giorgia (10/5): - Jardìn de Los Monos was absolutely perfect. Rooms were spacious, bed super comfortable (loved the softness of the sheets), really nice shower and lots of space outside to relax. The pool area was so nice, we could've stay there all day. Breakfast was delicious, we loved the Dutch pancakes and bread. The owner and Teddy were super friendly and helpful as well. Finally the location is perfect if you're looking for a peaceful place, surrounded by nature and animals and just 2 mins from the beach. We'll miss this place so much! Nothing, everything was great

• salomé (10/5): Exceptionnel 🤩 - Juste Wahou , tout était parfait . Lettika et Teddy sont géniaux . Nous avons été accueillis par Teddy comme si nous étions de la famille avec une visite de l’établissement personnalisé . Un endroit merveilleux calme, reposant , avec plein d’animaux où tout a été pensé. Le cadre avec la piscine et le jardin jungle🤩. Les chambres et salle de bains sont très spacieuses et tout est de qualité . L’emplacement à Matapalo où il y a tout ce qu’il faut mérite d’être découvert avec une magnifique plage a même pas 2 minutes de marche tout droit en sortant du B&B . Au centre entre Uvita et Quepos/ Manuel Antonio c’est idéal . Le petit déjeuner fait maison tout les matins est divin . On y serait bien resté plus longtemps . Un grand merci nous avons passé un séjour fantastique . Je recommande a 100% Rien
• Nanae (10/5): A Costa Rican beach escape - Wonderful and relaxing. The beds were SO SO comfortable and the rooms were big! We loved feeling like we were in a quiet piece of paradise, hanging out on the hammock, walking to the beach and watching the monkeys each afternoon. We were able to see the Capuchin two out of the three nights there and we woke up before breakfast one morning and saw a sloth in the trees around the property. The pool is a lovely cooldown after a long day and the place never feels crowded. The breakfast was “simple” but perfected and personal. It felt like a real luxurious vacation where we didn’t have to worry about a thing. You do need a car. That is the best way to enjoy and not feel trapped but that is very clearly stated by the hosts and others. Nothing!

• Alexander (10/5): Ein kleines Paradies mit herzlichem Service - Das Jardín de los Monos liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße in Matapolo, Lärm machen hier höchstens die Affen. Der Strand ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang entfernt. zwei Restaurants in der Nähe liegen fußläufig, wir sind jedoch trotzdem lieber mit dem Auto gefahren. Für alles andere ist ein eigenes Fahrzeug sehr nützlich. Die Unterkunft empfielt sich für Ausflüge nach Uvita, Dominical und auch für den Manuel Antonio. Man kann aber auch in Matapolo bleiben und den schönen Strand genießen. Doch zur Unterkunft selbst: Wir wurden herzlich empfangen, das Frühstück war super und wir hatten viel Platz und bequeme Betten. Es gibt einen schönen Pool mit Bar, der Garten ist schön und für Tierbeobachtungen muss man das Quartier eigentlich nicht verlassen. Wir haben u.a. Faultiere, Aras und natürlich Kapuzineraffen gesehen. Insgesamt eine sehr schöne Erfahrung und der Abschluss unserer Costa Rica Reise. • Drdla (10/5): - MATAPALO is an absolutely wonderful place to stay, with a friendly Dutch owner. The entire space is tastefully decorated and clean. In front of my room, I could relax in a hammock or by the pool, where I not only got a free towel but could also make coffee or tea for free at the nearby bar. The property is surrounded by beautiful trees and shrubs that create a cozy atmosphere—and if it weren't for the amazing beaches, I could have easily spent the whole day there. One morning, while enjoying a great breakfast (you can choose from three types), I saw a sloth with her baby settle into a nearby tree, which just proves how peaceful and tranquil this place is. I highly recommend it.

We were only there one night but wish we had more time to stay longer. Saw 2 sloths right outside the property. Pool area and gardens well maintained. Breakfast included and was delicious! • Joanne (10/5): This place is exceptionally located between beach and jungle with everything you need for a relaxing break ❤️ - We loved this place! We came for a relaxing break and it was perfect. We were greeted by Teddy at the gate in the pouring rain and he handed us umbrellas. Breakfasts are fabulous. You can spend time lounging by the pool or in the hammock outside your room. You can walk to the beach which is super close and wander along the shore for ages. And it’s peaceful- except when the monkeys come to visit and bounce around on the roof ( but this is a high light). Teddy made reservations for us and helped us with some bookings and Letikka ( our host) provided us with lots of helpful information. We would definitely recommend!

The staff is incredibly kind, accommodating, and hospitable; the BnB is quaint and comfortable; and all the amenities were present, with a personal touch. We hope to return! • Sylvia (10/5): A tropical garden with beautiful flowers and wildlife - The name of this lodge its really how it is: a wonderful garden where we could watch whiteface monkeys and even a sloth directly in front of our room. You can relax on sun loungers at the swimming pool or go to the beach which is just a short walk away. The host Lettika and her staff are very friendly. For breakfast there are different options and all of them were delicious.
• Sally (10/5): Exceptional - An amazing place to stay with wildlife present in the actual garden! Sloths, monkeys, hummingbirds, lizards, etc. The staff (Teddy and Dama) are fantastic. Teddy is very informative about the animals and locality. Dama makes the best pineapple smoothies. Letika is very welcoming and helped us book the local supper club. Our room was a good size with air-conditioning and was exceptionally clean. The beach was 2 mins walk with beautiful sunsets with crabs, pelicans, etc. The sea was rough, but we were able to get in. More suitable for surfing. We would highly recommend it.

Every little thing has been thought of. Nice to see monkeys and sloths close by. Not so much that we didn’t like this but we just felt there were a lot of signs and posters around the property and room, related to rules and regulations. We felt it was a bit over the top for an adults only property with an older demographic, where the majority of people are going to do the right thing.

There are so many activities within a 45 minute ride from here that we barely got to enjoy the pool, the peaceful garden and sitting area or the breathtaking beach where it’s just you and the birds. Breakfast was delish! Teddy was super helpful. Lettika helped us with scheduling our excursions. The rooms are very comfortable, including spa like bathrooms. Top notch! We went rafting and zip lining, visited Manuel Antonio park and playa and Ballena national park. All worth the time and colones.
• Michaela (10/5): Wonderful relaxing stay by the beach! - We stayed at this beautiful small hotel after travelling through Costa Rica for a week. This was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach. The host is lovely and we saw sloths, monkeys, and birds in the back yard. The breakfast was made with love. You will need a car to get around but a few restaurants are close by. We would definately come back!
• Julia (10/5): Beautiful, peaceful hotel - very reasonably priced for the very high quality - During our stay in Costa Rica, we spent nights at 6 different hotels and this one was easily the best. This place is like a nice little haven in a peaceful town close to Quepos and Manuel Antonio. The facilities were fantastic and I could go on and on about how comfortable the beds were. We got to see many sloths in the area and the beach is stunning and peaceful - a very short walk from the hotel. Also the breakfast was like going to a restaurant - SO good!! Just as the website says, I only wish we had planned to stay here longer. I also honestly couldn’t believe this place was so reasonably priced for what you’re getting. N/A - I have no complaints
