The room was quiet - we could not hear any street noise or neighbours plumbing. We did hear other guests only in the corridor. We were on the 2nd floor.

• Helen (8/5): Decent well priced apartment in a good location. - Good basic apartment. Decent size for the money. Coffee machine appreciated! Close to groovy restaurants and cafes. Could do with a decor update maybe.

It is very convenient location to go anywhere in the downtown on foot. The new stadium is less than 10 minutes walk. There is a big supermarket 5 minutes walk away, so I enjoyed cooking with local ingredients. None.

Bed was very comfortable with good pillows. Private laundry facilities, strip lighting in bathroom & heated towel rails. Limited parking available on site. Bathroom lighting could be improved in terms of putting make up on & shaving.

• Danica (7/5): Perfectly serviceable. Nothing fun. - Even though it’s quite new, it’s a bit bruised. Also, big heavy framed picture hung above the head of the bed in a known earthquake zone. So dangerous. Kinda rough. Nothing charming about its location. No extra facilities.
• Alyson (7/5): Good location, friendly staff, clean room, nice bathroom except the shower head - The location is great, close to city centre and the facilities were good with a washing machine and dryer, dishwasher and microwave. The pillows and bed were uncomfortable. The room was quite dark with only one window which is rather small. The room was not serviced on the second day. Staff were good and apologetic but couldn’t do much as the cleaning staff had gone home. Very disappointing. Shower head did not hold in place.

Room and bathroom were spacious and senior friendly, kitchenette has everything like coffee machine, microwave/convection oven, toaster etc, cutlery including wash cloth. Good size fridge too. Place is also quiet. No chopping board.
• Edward (9/5): Convenient location in the Christchurch CBD - Everything was as advertised. Quiet surroundings, yet still within walking distance of the 'inner' CBD and eateries such as Little High and Riverside Market. Ample pillows and the water pressure in the shower were very good! Staff were friendly and efficient. There was a little excess noise from other rooms when doors slam, and the walls can be a little thin, letting one hear some residual noise from others. It's not a big deal, but something to be aware of.

• Ron (8/5): Overall enjoyed our stay - Room was clean, good kitchen (including dishwasher) and laundry inside the room. A bit of a walk from CBD but certainly doable. The bed and pillow just wasn't that comfortable. Wife ended up with a really stiff neck. We are not fans of carpeting in hotel rooms, especially dark carpeting, which can hide a myriad of sins. The bed area had carpeting. We much prefer the room with the same flooring as the kitchen throughout.
