Guest Reviews
- Katherine (4/5): - Cuando llegamos al hotel hotel nos dijeron que no teníamos reservación se escuchan todos los ruidos,a estadoa incluia desayuno pero cuando nos cobraron la habitacion los cobraron aparte los desayunos
- crisanto (6/5): - Price
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great service at the bar and Chinese restaurant. Alex is the man. Really cool pool with an amazing view. The property manager was very friendly and helpful. This was a great spot to spend my last night in Roatan, when I wanted to get away from the more busy areas, but still feel safe and have a nice place to lay my head down. Highly recommend this place.
- Tina (6/5): Okay if just passing through for a night or two - The hotel has seen better days, and must have been even nice at one point. It's quaint, cute, and rustic. If you enjoy cabins in the mountain, then you'll like this place. The owner is there on site to take care of details. There are limited staff / guests, but that's likely due to Covid. The restaurant on site is a Chinese food restaurant - food was fresh but menu is mediocre. There is a beautiful path down to the beach front, but the beach nearby seems to be full of seaweed. The owner seems like a good, hardworking, fair guy. The bartender, Eric, was friendly and attentive. There's lot of flora and fauna on the property which makes it pretty to look at, the rooms are clean and decent sized (albeit a little dark), but the facilities are dated and it shows.
- Alfredo (2/5): - The place is not worth the price
- Lagretta (6/5): Spend the extra and stay somewhere else - The property was ok. There was no beach access. There was no bedding and linens. It was not clean. There were bugs. Window unit AC, that we’re not sufficient. There were animals roaming the property. It was very close to residential homes. We only stayed one night of the five. The service was horrible from the owner not the staff. The owner refused to give me a refund.. always pay through hotel.com never pay directly to hotel because hotel. Com can refund your money if you choose to leave if you pay the hotel directly it is their choice.
- Jared (4/5): - Property is very old, mattresses are old. Staff was friendly but hotel owners need to upgrade the rooms in order to ask the current price.
- Jose (10/5): First Roatan Vacation - The hotels was clean. The location is not bad from the airport or from town. Close to nice beaches. Some local eateries closed to the hotel which is nice. The view to the beach is awesome.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - My trip was a good one. Had some problems with the electricity during my stay, otherwise it was good
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very good, look forward to staying again. Place is very nice
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff were a much needed comfort after a difficult travel experience. In all, there is nothing to complain about. Pirates Den was /is a port in our storm!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The staff are very helpful and friendly! Also the property is out of the way of the hustle and bustle, but still close enough to West End.
- ERICK (8/5): buen hotel. - Todo bien , gente amable
- Mike (10/5): Excellent Service - Very friendly, professional, and helpful staff. I recommend this hotel to everyone.
I will definitely return.
- TINA (8/5): Nice hotel and easy to get to. - this was a stop over before leaving to the US. Great local place.
- Roger (4/5): Beautiful view - So much potential. Room seemed clean but had to kill a cockroach 1 night. Don't look behind the pedestal sink. My wife and I are non smokers so we were disappointed that smoking was allowed everywhere but one part of the restaurant, even right outside my room. I like dogs but object to them in the restaurant and barking at 6:00AM. On the plus side, Liz and her help were very friendly and helpful to the extent they could. Maybe hampered by budget constraints. Restaurant food was fine. I'd rate this no higher than one star.
