- Agnese (10/5): Oasi di pace e serenità - Un posto meraviglioso , un oasi di pace e tranquillità, la gentilezza e professionalità di tutto il personale rende il soggiorno ancora migliore , le villette sono stupende e confortevoli , la colazione veramente ottima , e la proprietaria Agnes una signora davvero cordiale simpatica e premurosa , e anche la figlia , grazie davvero per il miglior soggiorno mai avuto , torneremo sicuramente .

- Jerome (9/5): Super séjour, je recommande - Le calme, la gentillesse du personnel, l espace, la beauté du lieu. L’acceuil est chaleureux. Des 6 hebergements ou je suis passé ça a été ma meilleure expérience Comme indiqué sur la carte ce n’est pas directement sur la plage.
- Taqiya (10/5): Magnifique je recommande !!! - Magnifique cadre, les hôtes super accueillants gentils, souriants… le logement était spacieux et très propre ! Très très grand lits !! On se sentait très à l’aise et en sécurité. Pleins de choses à faire autour du logement. Aucune pression au niveau de la douche, et piscine un peu froide
- elana (10/5): A beautiful oasis with very calm environment - המקום מעוצב בצורה יפיפה, הרגשה של גן עדן, ירוק לאן שלא מסתכלים. מיקום הכינוס המרכזי נעים ונח, עם שולחן ביליארד, קליעה למטרה, והרבה פריטי נוי יפים. גם בחדר עצמו, הרגשה של פשטות ובחירה יפה של פרטי ריהוט טבעיים. הצוות מאד חברותי ועזר בכל מה שביקשנו. נהנינו מאד מהבריזכה המתוקה שנמצאת במרכז. הריחוק מהחוף - מצד אחד היה צורך לנסוע כל פעם, כי זה לא במרחק הליכה, מצד שני זאת היתה חוויה להיות על בודה בודה וזה גם איפשר להיות במקום יותר שקט

- Rahul (10/5): Unique experience - Beautiful and wholesome experience. The place is great, a hidden oasis in Watamu, rooms are very comfortable (with hot water for showers and a very useful fan), pool is great, food is delicious. You will feel at home outside of home. Nothing to note.

- Ilaria (10/5): Little peaceful paradise in watamu, feels like home - The lady (owner) treated us in the best way possibile, she is super nice and kind and ready to face all of our needs. She is also an excellent cooker and she made a delicious dinner and the breakfast is amazing (fruits, pancakes, eggs, muffins etc). The place is sourranded by nature and it seems to be in a peaceful little paradise. I would highly recommended to choose this place to stay, it is also close to the city centre (5 min by boda boda). I will come back here for sure!

- Lederle (10/5): Exceptional - What a discovery! Booked one night with my girlfriend and ended up staying five. We've had our own bungalow in a very beautiful hotel garden with pool. There's also an open-walled restaurant and areas with comfortable seats and couches. Great place to read and relax. Overall we were absolutely happy finding this place. Thank you!
- Claire (10/5): Home from home in peaceful, welcoming Eco Villas. - Welcoming staff who were available 24-7 to help. Excellent initiative to organise meals and offered take out when requested. Room was beautifully presented with comfy bed including mosquito net, washing supplies in bathroom, seating, fridge and coffee/tea facility provided. Refill glass bottle provided, with refill water at bar. Very clean and secure room. Hot water available with with but not needed because cold shower essential for hot weather. Private seating area outside of room, with hammock rocking bed for resting in day. Spacious social and eating space with games and books. Plenty of shade and a cool breeze. Staff always working to keep floors, paths and pool clear of falling leaves, preparing food etc. Thorough cleaning of room every day, turning down bed service daily. Help to book trips and Tuktuk’s or advice on what to do in Watamu and area. Julie and her team were amazing! Even more eco initiatives which they are already planning / thinking about.
- Aida (9/5): Superb - Julie & her team were most attentive, welcoming and accomodating to our requests and questions and made our stay wonderful. It is definitely a kid friendly place where one can relax reading a book and kids can play, particularly during the warmest hours of the day. The breakfast is rich, the room spacious and it is only a 300/400 KES tuktuk ride away from the nearest beach. Great value for money and friendly atmosphere! For us it was positive as kids love the refreshing tuktuk ride, it is only worth noting that it is located approx 10 mins away from the beach.

Would highly recommend. Perhaps a couch and table substituting for one of the single beds in the room?

The location was great, a short tuktuk ride away from beach, but also close to Mida Creek and Arabuko Sokoke Forest. A nice quiet little piece of paradise. - Andrzej (4/5): Electricity unreliable - The property (houses on Easter Side) has big issue with the three-phase power input. Finally, we spent our night without electricity (two basic lamps were provided instead for the room and bathroom). The electric generator was not reliable - lights were blinking all the time. I didn`t want to charge my electric equipment when the generator was used (didn`t want risk damaging items). The breakfast was rather basic. The rest of the experience was OK. It was the only only one property we visited with electric problems on the Coast. We didn`t receive any kind of proposal for refund for that unconvenience. We suggest: before renting make sure you are located in the house on western side of the property.
- Lars (10/5): - Ich kann dieses wunderschöne Paradies jedem empfehlen. Es war das absolute Paradies für uns am Ende unserer Reise durch Kenia. Eine sehr familiäre und innige Beziehung, obwohl wir nur 5 Nächte dort waren. Granny und ihre Tochter und das Personal wie Sophie waren alle sehr gastfreundlich. Das Essen war frisch und lecker, einfach fantastisch. Der Pool, die Zimmer und allgemein die Anlage waren ständig sauber und gepflegt. Eigentlich 5 Sterne ! So etwas Schönes und Warmes haben wir selten gesehen. Asante Sana!!!

Agnes & Winnie were brilliant. Agnes went above & beyond for us. If we are ever back in Watamu we will be staying here again - a home away from home! Wi-Fi wasn’t great

- Amelia (10/5): A few days in Watamu to go kitesurfing - I spent a few days at the villa and I loved this place - beautiful surroundings, and warm, nice people. To go kiting you need to go to the beach with a tuktuk (10-15 min drive). But it's super quiet and nice!

- Zaraquel (10/5): fantastic - We had a fantastic time at this place in its wonderful natural and folcloric setting. Swimming pool (available for a swim after dinner at 21.00) and showers with sweet water, excelent WiFi, wonderful restaurant terrace with tasty and abundant breakfast (fresh fruit salad and juice, cereals,bread, bacon, sausage etc.) availa. The lodge is run by the family Judy, Stewart, her son Connor, the cooking grand-ma and their very helpful staff. They organize anything you might need: get a tuktuk ride, a bus trip to Lamu, a guide for a Arabuku Forest walk, ask whether there a turtles in the rehabilitation nursery, at what time is the milk feeding at the snake park and so on… Water heating is not supplied by solar energy, I missed a fridge

Juliette was so friendly and welcoming and cooked delicious home-made samosas. We would definitely come again here. All the staff are lovely and happy to help with anything!
