Additionally, the dinnerware appeared heavily worn and scratched, suggesting it is overdue for replacement. We also experienced issues with the air conditioning in the twin bedroom, which failed to function correctly during our stay.

• Hervé (10/5): Tite maison familiale a gion - La maison est très bien située et très bien équipée.la salle de bain est top et le salon fonctionnel avec lavant séchant. Idéal en milieu de séjour. Pour 5 personnes, mais 2 adultes et 3 enfants car la deuxième chambre est avec des futons. Donc faire attention à ce détail.

• Antonius (10/5): Een heerlijk huis op een fantastische locatie - De accommodatie bevindt zich middenin in de wijk. Een fantastische plek om te dwalen in het oude Japan. Het huis is modern en sfeervol ingericht. Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf en zullen het zeker aanraden aan andere reizigers.

• Eric (8/5): Good location to base for explorering Kyoto. - Cannot top the location. Taxi/cars cannot get to the location during prime times. Early mornings and late nights are OK. You will have to drag your suitcases 3 blocks up if you arrive during prime time. It was only the two of us. Not really any places to lounge around comfortably. WiFi is not reachable in the main bedroom. Futon room and downstairs are OK.

• David (10/5): Sehr gute Unterkunft in Kyoto - Die Rezeption gegenüber des Bahnhof Kyoto war unbschreiblich freundlich und hilfreich !!!! Der Shuttleservice zur Unterkunft hat perfekt funktioniert. Die Unterkunft hat perfekt gepasst für uns (2 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder). Es waren alle Utensilien in der Unterkunft vorhanden und es war sehr sauber.

• Theresa (8/5): - Everything was great at this location our only concern were the stairs. We've (myself, husband and our adult son) stumble on the stairs. The steps were very narrow except for the landing steps.
• Tu (7/5): Nice location but feel very small - location is great. Close to attraction and cute traditional house. Nice to have laundry facility inside the house. Cute garden the place feel a lot smaller for the square footage. We barely have any space to store our luggage. The Futon beds and their cover doesn't feel that clean and has stains on them. Check in is very confusing and took a long time since we have to wait for transportation. The house has a lot of wear and tears.
• Toshio (8/5): Great location, but tight spaces. - The location of the property was very convenient for many places the family wanted to visit. The second bedroom, which was used for a Futon sleeping arrangement, was way too small. Although it was advertised as suitable for five people, it did not accommodate the family well.
• Amy (8/5): Locations perfection. - This property is in an excellent location for the Gion district. Great coffee shop at door step, clean and easy to get around from here. It is a little small. We found it difficult to have our luggage out and access. We were a family of 5. Steel stairs to get luggage upstairs to were bedrooms were too. But other than that excellent.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - We loved it! A little difficult to get from the Resi Stay to other sights in Kyoto but it is situated in a gorgeous area of Kyoto and it was truly a unique place to stay.
• Miki (10/5): 東山のおすすめ町家 - 東山通から清水寺、八坂の塔に上るルートから少し入ったところにある町家。とにかく立地最高！このエリアを堪能し尽くした。 宿は京都らしい趣きある一軒家の町家で、ジェットバスがすごかった。昼夜ともとても静かなので、快適に過ごせた。紅葉の季節にまたここに泊まりたい。
