I have stayed here every time I come to Ubud and it is always so wonderful to return. The staff are so friendly and kind, the cottages lovely and peaceful and the breakfast really delicious. Dejlig hytte med vand, kaffe/te og sodavand i minibaren der var med i prisen Wifi var dårlig og tror stedet var under ombygning/renovering så der var ikke en reception eller tilgængeligt personale men meget hjælpsomme når vi skulle bruge dem. Morgenmaden skulle bestilles dagen før (var inklusiv i prisen) og der var ikke så mange valg. Et par gange glemte de kaffen, og den var ikke med i morgenmadstilbudet

- Andre (6/5): Schöne, zentral gelegene und ruhige Anlage mit viel Potenzial, jedoch deutlich eingeschränktem Service, organisatorische - Die Anlage ist schön und gepflegt, die Lage hervorragend – ruhig und dennoch zentral, ideal um die Stadt zu erkunden und sich zu erholen. Leider wurde der positive Gesamteindruck stark durch organisatorische Mängel getrübt. Das Personal wirkte unerfahren: Bestellungen zum Frühstück wurden vergessen, Zimmerreinigung und Minibar mussten mehrfach nachgefragt werden. Zudem war der Kaffee beim Frühstück nicht inklusive, sondern musste extra bezahlt werden. Die Betten sind mit 1,50 m Breite für zwei Personen sehr klein. Während unseres Aufenthalts fanden direkt gegenüber unseres Bungalows laute Sanierungsarbeiten statt, und zeitgleich wurde die Rezeption renoviert, wodurch zeitweise kein Personal vor Ort war. Teilweise mussten wir Handwerker bitten, das Hotelpersonal telefonisch zu erreichen. Die Poolanlage ist außerdem in die Jahre gekommen. Am Abreisetag entschuldigte sich ein Mitarbeiter persönlich für die Umstände und bot als Entgegenkommen zwei kleine Keramikschüsseln mit verschimmelten Essstäbchen sowie den Erlass einiger Frühstücks-Extras (Brot, Müsli) an – was wir als nicht verhältnismäßig empfanden. Insgesamt eine gute Lage, aber organisatorisch und kommunikativ deutlich ausbaufähig.

Campuhan Ridge Walk sowie Monkey Forest fußläufig gut erreichbar - ebenso viele Restaurants in fußläufiger Umgebung. Frühstück für Europäer eher sehr kleine Portionen. Zimmer wurden mittlerweile renoviert und sauber.Bei Buchung einer Garten Villa ist Ruhe trotz zentraler Lage garantiert. Kaffee bei Frühstück selbst auf dem Zimmer zu kochen. Besondere Kaffeespezialitäten z.B. Cappucino ist extra zu bezahlen - allerdings über das Bisma Restaurant erhältlich. Frühstück eher dürftig. Es wäre schön, wenn täglich zum Zähneputzen Wasserflaschen nachgefüllt werden . Das fehlte dieses Mal.

- Belinda (10/5): - Sama's Cottages are a tranquil haven in the centre of Ubud... the location is great, easy to get around ... the great thing is once you walk into Sama's grounds, the lush greenery takes you to a calm and tranquil oasis... enjoyed my stay here, the peaceful sounds of nature in the busy centre... room is clean and comfy, and spacious and cool!... tea and coffee provided along with drinking water, shower is great too. The pool is great for evening swims to cool off... Staff friendly and helpful, great breakfast delivered to your room at your chosen time! With a smile..... overall, I loved my stay and highly recommend staying here! There are some stairs to the last cottages, if stairs are problem ask for a cottage before the stairs.

- Janrose (10/5): - Had a little staycation in Ubud since I sadly got sick after travel, and really enjoyed my stay here! I wasn't able to book a massage for the day we arrived so recommend booking as early as possible. Besides, the location is great so there are tons of spas, restaurants, etc. within walking distance. Staff is friendly, breakfast options were good, and bed was very comfortable. A/C in room and nice shower and bath tub. Recommend!
- Alena (9/5): Отличный вариант в центре Убуда - Расположение отеля великолепное - в центре Убуда, при этом тихо и спокойно. Территория отеля зеленая. Персонал вежливый и улыбчивый. В этом отеле самый вкусный сок на завтраках (действительно настоящий свежевыжатый). Уборка каждый день, было чисто. Персонал каждый день обновляли цветы и вечером зажигали спирали от комаров. За дополнительную плату предоставили детскую кроватку. В целом довольны пребыванием в отеле. Завтраки могли были быть разнообразнее и более сытными. Wi-fi слабоват. Хотелось бы чтобы возле бассейна лучше убирали, было грязновато и зонтики нужно обновить (один или два в рабочем состоянии). В стандартном коттедже хотелось бы больше света.

Camera molto bella e in perfetto stile balinese. Purtroppo le porte e le finestre sono in legno e non si chiudono bene quindi nella camera entrano molti insetti.
- Susan (10/5): - Great property with beautiful rooms! The location is fantastic and within walking distance of lots of excellent shops and restaurants. My only complaint was that the pillows were very hard, so I ended up sleeping on my travel pillow. Hopefully they’ll upgrade to something softer. Otherwise, I had an excellent stay and would definitely stay here again.

- Bex (10/5): Fantastic location in centre of Ubud, but peaceful. - Central location, but no noise from road. Bungalows are set within beautifully maintained gardens. Mine came with A/C and central fan, mosquito nets, mini bar and large shower. All staff are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Good pool area and although fairly small, I was always able to get a sun bed. I’d highly recommend staying at Sama’s Cottages, you won’t be disappointed. N/A

- Kirsten (8/5): - Lovely accommodation and small resort but unfortunately we didn't get to experience what Ubud had to offer as my son was unwell. We chose the accommodation as it was convenient to access the Monkey Sanctuary, palace, market etc but the streets outside are extremely busy. The pharmacy was a few doors away which was helpful. There was also a closely located yoga facility and cooking school.

Il cottage superior è molto bello e lo staff è stato estremamente gentile Forse nel bagno andrebbe messa una luce in più e uno specchio in camera ma sono piccolezza non di grande importanza

- Sandra (4/5): Der Aufenthalt war im Verhältnis des Preises sehr enttäuschend. - Die Lage und der Pool waren gut. Das Zimmer war enorm feucht, weshalb wir nach einer Nacht das Zimmer wechseln mussten, da wir es kaum aushielten und unsere Kleider alle feucht waren. Das neue Zimmer war etwas besser aber auch nur, da es mehr Fenster hatte die wir ständig geöffnet haben mussten, damit es einigermassen ging. Zudem kontaktierten wie die Unterkunft vorgängig hinsichtlich Rollerverleih und Wäscheservice. Bei beidem hiess es, dies sei bei der Unterkunft erhältlich. Als wir vor Ort waren, mussten wie die Dienstleistungen jedoch bei Dritten in Empfang nehmen, da das Hotel weder Roller noch Wäscheservice anbietet.

Bungalow spaziosi, distanziati tra loro e immersi nella natura (tuttavia non ci sono molti insetti!). Pulizia impeccabile. Un plus: la colazione viene servita ogni mattina direttamente in camera

De tuin en het paadje naar de cottage zijn best goed verzorgd en er liggen iedere dag verse bloemetjes. Vervallen, niet erg schoon, Kluisje staat los en weegt niks. Klamboes om bedden niet erg schoon. Zeer gehorig, vanuit cottage hoor je geluid en drukte van de straat en je hoort je buren. Geen laundry service bij hotel.

En als je naar buiten liep was het wel direct in het centrum van Ubud Doordat het in het centrum is kom je met een auto minder makkelijk weg op bepaalde spitstijden.

Breakfast must be ordered a day in advance. The cottage could use a little maintenance, but nothing that would prevent your enjoyable stay.

- Lionel (9/5): séjour en famille - Hôtel très agréable, situé à l’écart de la rue principale d’Ubud, ce qui le rend plus calme, tout en restant proche de nombreux restaurants et bars. Les bungalows ainsi que les salles de bain sont très bien. Le petit-déjeuner est servi chaque matin directement sur la terrasse du bungalow, ce qui est vraiment appréciable. La piscine est agréable et le personnel est attentionné et professionnel. Une très belle adresse à Ubud !

- Julie (9/5): - In a quiet spot just off a busy road, this little complex is a gem. The gardens are beautiful. Everything is clean and well tended. The staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Our Villa was the last one down the hill so quite a few steps but quiet. No TV in the room but that didn't bother us. Easy walking 5 mins to Ubud market, centre of town.

- 우보천리 (8/5): Sama's cottages & villas 숙박 후기 - 평화롭고 안락한 분위기, 왕궁 등 시내까지 접근성 좋음 (도보 10~15분), 룸서비스로 제공되는 조식은 간편하지만 맛있음 도착 첫날 밤늦게 도착했지만 침구가 너무 눅눅해서 불편. 모기가 많은데 모기향 피우고 약 뿌리면 지낼만 함.
