Shawn Michelle (10/5): Like staying with a close friend - I loved my stay at the White Swan. Sultan was so welcoming and warm, it felt like staying with an old friend. It was a clean, spacious and comfortable room, conveniently located and quiet, and Sultan was so helpful and always available to answer any questions or offer advice. I was a solo female traveler and I felt perfectly safe here. Will definitely return next time I’m in Istanbul.

It was a plesure to see Ruijie as a network devices. Noise of fridge, but it can be switched off. Also, the street is quite noisy. But it is not host's issue, just location. The most disappointment inside the room: The installation of fire-alarm what was drilled barbarian way across the decorated celling.

Самое главное - все очень чисто и аккуратно. Хорошее качественное постельное белье. Есть лифт. Заехали без проблем, хозяйка всегда на связи. Про мнения о районе с сомнительными личностями, скорее, это преувеличение. Видели поздно вечером таких парней, даже поговорили- обычные люди, коих полно вокруг Таксима. Зато здесь тихо, никтот не сигналить и не кричит.

Murtada (10/5): Exceptional stay - The owner, sultana, was very caring, sweet and nice. They cleaned the room every day, with new towels and bedsheets and the service was amazing - we would wake up late and somehow they would still be able to do the room for us. The room was very comfortable and quite spacious for the price. The roads and the outside might scare you and in the beginning they may feel a bit unsafe, but I can reassure you that the location is the best, it’s just 10 minutes walk from taksim and istiklal street, the neighborhood is lovely and there’s a mini market on the same street with a very nice owner. Overall the stay was perfect and I wouldn’t change a thing, I highly recommend. I came with my boyfriend an we are both beyond grateful for our stay.

Schon bei der Ankunft wurde ich herzlich von Sultana empfangen und hatte sofort das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein. Die Atmosphäre ist entspannt, warm und sehr angenehm. Mein Zimmer war sehr sauber, gemütlich und perfekt für einen längeren Aufenthalt und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Besonders schön war der persönliche Umgang und die Herzlichkeit der Gastgeberin. Sultana war immer sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit ansprechbar. Man merkt sofort, dass ihr das Wohl der Gäste wirklich sehr wichtig ist. Ich habe mich hier wie zu Hause gefühlt. Auch der Service insgesamt war unkompliziert und sehr angenehm. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist super und vieles ist schnell erreichbar. Trotzdem kann man hier wunderbar zur Ruhe kommen. Während meines gesamten Aufenthalts habe ich mich sicher und gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Viele kleine Aufmerksamkeiten haben den Aufenthalt besonders gemacht. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt absolut. Ich werde und würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann diese Unterkunft von Herzen weiterempfehlen. L'emplacement est idéal, à 2 mn de la place Taksim où l'on a le métro, le funiculaire & même le tramway : à coté du logement, des petites "snacks" où l'on peut bien déjeuner & pas chers, même des baklavas qu'on a ramené en France, excellent & 10* moins chers que dans les dutyFree de l'aéroport ! rien ! si notre séjour était trop court 😁

I travel frequently, and the level of cleanliness here truly stands out. Everything felt fresh, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared, giving the room a warm, home-like atmosphere. There was a very small issue with the curtain in the first room they offered, and the way they handled it was impressive. Instead of making it complicated, they immediately upgraded me without hesitation. It was professional, smooth, and considerate — something you rarely see. And the biggest highlight: Mrs. Sultana. She is one of the kindest and most caring hosts I have ever met. Warm, helpful, always smiling, and genuinely dedicated to her guests’ comfort. Her hospitality alone makes this place unforgettable. With its perfect location, outstanding cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and the kind of personal attention that you don’t often find, the value for money is excellent. Ozgur (10/5): An Exceptional Experience - The 9-night stay my partner and I had here was truly topped off by incredibly attentive service. First and foremost, I must emphasize that this is the first time we have ever witnessed our room in a boutique hotel being meticulously cleaned every single day. This is genuinely commendable. The hotel offers great flexibility regarding check-in and check-out times; you can easily come and go as you please. Although the location might seem close to Tarlabasi, the street where the hotel is situated is actually very safe and quiet. Every day, both during the day and night, we could effortlessly walk to Istiklal Street, Nevizade, Cihangir, Galata, Karakoy, Asmalımescit, and Pera. Being able to reach Istiklal in just 4-5 minutes on foot is a huge plus. It is very close to entertainment venues, restaurants, and cafes. Furthermore, the two small grocery stores (bakkal) on the hotel's street are run by very friendly people. If you choose to stay in, the comfortable climate control (heating in winter, AC in summer) is perfect for enjoying the room all day. You can order food and simply relax in your room, which is decorated with details that make you feel the spirit of Beyoglu and evoke the atmosphere of wonderful old movies. The entire team, especially Mrs. Sultan and her assistant, are kind, highly attentive, and genuinely eager to assist you instantly. We thank them for this wonderful stay. White Swan Boutique hote is highly recommended for anyone looking to stay in Beyoglu area.

Clara (8/5): Schönes zentral gelegenes Hotel - - Gute Lage, wir sind über den SAW-Airport gekommen, konnten mit dem HAVABUS bequem zum Taximplatz fahren und von dort aus waren es ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß - Sehr netter Vertreter der Inhaberin, welcher uns gute Tipps für die Stadt gegeben hat - kleiner Lebensmittelladen direkt die Straße hoch - Tee und Kaffee auf dem Zimmer - sehr hellhörig, sowohl hinsichtlich der anderen Hotelzimmer, als auch zur Straße hin, was vermutlich in den meisten Häusern in Istanbul so ist. Da haben Ohrstöpsel gut geholfen

Prima bed! Heerlijk geslapen Complex ligt behoorlijk centraal maar wel in een verpauperde wijk in verbouwing. Er staan diverse foto’s op en uiteindelijk kregen we een ander app dan verwacht. De kitchenette mag je niet zo noemen.. het is een wasbak met kraan, een waterkoker en in een lade vonden we nog wat bestek en nog 2 borden…. Erg summier. De badkamer is netjes qua tegelwerk maar de handdouche ophanging is kapot, er is maar 1 handdoek haakje en de kraan van de wasbak spuit alle kanten op, kleine issues die redelijk snel gefixt kunnen worden en toch het gebruik veraangenamen. Ennneh: het balkon… nou dat was een sta-balkon, meer was t niet (ziet er op de foto’s ook anders uit)

We arrived in Istanbul around 6am, and Sultana arranged everything for us, to have a place to sleep, later welcomed us with such kindness and warmth. Since there was availability, she even upgraded us to a better room — such a thoughtful gesture! The room was spacious, cosy, and spotless, and the hotel’s location couldn’t be better — close to everything, yet peaceful. Sultana was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We truly appreciated her hospitality and genuine care. We’d love to come back, not only to stay here again but also to see the other hotels she’s refurbishing nearby. Highly recommended!
Abdullah (1/5): A warm welcome turned into an uncomfortable stay due to intrusive and exploitative behavior. - On the positive side, the location is good and close to the city center (though on a hill), and cleanliness was acceptable. Ms. Sultana welcomed me very warmly and even helped carry my luggage to the room. Her hospitality at first felt genuinely kind, making it feel more like a family home than a hotel. My experience at The White Swan Suites Beyoğlu was negative despite the warm start. Ms. Sultana welcomed me very kindly and helped me carry my luggage to the room. However, over time, she became overly involved in my stay and made me feel a lack of privacy. She was constantly present near the entrance, often watching from the balcony, which was uncomfortable. The next day, when my friend came to visit (and my booking was for three people), she refused to let him in unless I paid an extra 50 euros — something completely unreasonable. Unfortunately, her behavior felt exploitative rather than professional. Cleanliness was acceptable and the location is on a hill but close to amenities. However, due to the intrusive and exploitative attitude, I would not stay there again.

She is always there if you need and you will have this feeling like "to have a mum" who is taking care of everything. Adda (10/5): Best holiday - Everything was perfect. First of all, Sultana it's a great host. She becomes quickly your friend. She it's very helpful and acomodated us in a very nice way. The propriety it's located just a few steps away from the Modern city center of Istanbul, calles Taksim, it's a quartier full of life with nice shops and a very beautiful mosquee. The rooms are very but very clean and cozy. We had a sunny balcony where we could enjoy the morning coffee. Also we had a parking that it's a big plus because our car it's oversized. Shazia (6/5): Reasonable stay. - The lady was very friendly and lovely and wanted to help. Not far from Taksim square 10 min walk. Window seat/bed nice touch. Rooms decent size and warm. No sound proofing at all. You can hear even whispering next door and shuffling about. Couples having sex like they are in same room. Located at the bottom of a very steep road and a quite road feels uncomfortable walking alone at night. I personally didnt find the pillows comfortable. Fabric stuffed type rather than bouncy soft.

She was there for us to answer all of our questions. Also the room was very comfortable, spacious and very clean. Everyday it was being cleaned and they changed our sheets, plus they added more coffee (they offer coffee and tea in room). The location is perfect, 4-5 minutes walking to Istiklal street and Taksim square and 3-4 minutes fto public transportation.

The rooms were impressively spacious, providing ample room to move around comfortably. The terrace was a highlight, offering a great place to relax and take in the surroundings. The bathrooms were not only clean but also surprisingly comfortable, making the stay even more enjoyable. However, the standout feature for me was the bed – the mattress was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. I can't forget to mention the wonderful host, Sultana. She was incredibly hospitable and kind, going the extra mile to provide us with valuable tips on where to dine and find reasonably priced Turkish hamams in the area. Her guidance was invaluable in making our stay memorable. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would consider returning in the future. Thank you to Sultana and the hotel staff for their warm hospitality. The only minor downside was the Wi-Fi, which could use some improvement. Although it's worth noting that it might not be unique to the hotel, as I experienced similar issues with my roaming mobile internet in the area.

The location of the place is exceptional with few minutes walk to Taksim square and the main streets. The street is very safe. the room itself was very nice and clean. Sultana is an amazing person and she was able to help is with everything we asked for. She is so friendly and she helped us with tips around Istanbul and organised a taxi to the airport on the last day. Highly recommend!! nothing
