Guest Reviews
- Annalie (9/5): We loved our stay in St George’s place and would most definitely stay here again. - The location was great, an easy walk into the city centre. Tesco and a lovely coffee shop below for breakfast. The apartment was beautifully decorated and very spacious, spread over a few floors. Comfy beds and suitable for our group of 6. Instructions to enter the property were very clear and communication from the hosts was excellent given our booking was very last minute. We could’ve stayed longer! The kitchen was very well equipped, big dining table and nice views out the back over the allotments.
Parking outside was easy 6pm-8am so car left overnight and then we moved it in the morning to free for a few hours parking up the hill. Everything was brilliant apart from the top shower where the water took a while to drain so we used the other bathroom instead.
- Sarah (7/5): Nice Apartment - A beautiful apartment just as in the photo
Comfortable beds and very spacious
Good location not far from town. I didn’t like having to check out at 10am I felt very rushed getting my family going and out of the door in time.
I didn’t like having to strip all the beds of their linen before we left especially as we had to check out so early, the list of jobs to do such as recycling, fill dishwasher etc felt like I should have hoovered and mopped too! Made me nervous to use anything. So we didn’t.
Parking was a long way up the hill from the property and although good instructions still not very clear were free parking was.
Ripped stair carpet let it down
- Matt (10/5): Absolutely beautiful, spacious property. Very comfortable, great views, great location. A++ - There is a coffee shop right by the property, which made breakfast very easy. Can't think of anything.

- Lyndsey (9/5): Lots of room. Loved being in a period property that was exactly what we wanted in Bath. - It was a beautiful place to stay. My daughter asked to come every year !

Exceptionally beautiful, clean, comfortable, well stocked and well-appointed; we would love to come back and stay here again.
The enormous windows and beautiful views made it a perfect base to discover Bath - we just wished we could have stayed longer. It was all fabulous.

It ticked all the boxes and more.
- Adam (9/5): Superb -
- Felicity (10/5): Georgian elegance with 21st century comfort. - This is a really beautiful Georgian two storey apartment above a coffee shop. There is also a Tesco Express almost next door. There was plenty of room to sprawl and we liked the setting on the hill and close to the canal. This would not be a suitable place if guests have any mobility problems, however, because of the stair climbing required. We would definitely stay here again. Nothing
- Nancy (8/5): Very good -
- Pauline (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and stunning flat. Very comfortable.
- Rebecca (9/5): Superb -
- Sophie (10/5): Would stay again - Comfortable , lots of space, lovely to have a coffee shop underneath. Hard to find longer term parking - ended up parking 15min walk away, there was parking closer but people were parked in it. Lots of short term parking around though for drop off
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Jill (10/5): Very good - Lovely ambiance, well equipped and nice views from the rear of the property.
Super convenient to have the small Tesco nearby for provisions.
- Sarah (10/5): Shopping and cocktails with friends. 😃 - Great location and a fabulous apartment. Photographs on booking.com did not do the apartment justice. It was bright, airy, well equipped and comfortable. Not to mention super stylish.
A little on the pricy side for one night, but well worth it for the surroundings in the apartment, the fabulous views and short walk into town. There was nothing to dislike.
- Rowena (9/5): Superb -
- Karen (9/5): Beautiful property within walking distance from Bath centre - Beautiful house within walking distance of city. Very comfortable and clean with everything you would need. Wish we could have spent longer there. Perfect for a family or group of friends. The property is situated on a hill so you should be comfortable with walking uphill from the city to the property. Free parking is great but a little distance further up the hill. Would recommend dropping off luggage and then parking the car. A little noise from delivery van at Tesco's next door.
- Donovan (9/5): Superb -
- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional -

- Karl (10/5): highly recommended - beautiful, well appointed 3 bedroom apartment nada
- Bashayer (10/5): The stay was excellent and the host took care of everything and provided everything we needed - The check out was abit early ( at 10) and we still didn’t manage to finish packing by the 10:13 the cleaners walked in the house and started cleaning while we were inside.we left the property by 10:20 but i hoped the cleaners would have waited a bit or asked us how long it will take us to finish. But other than that everything was really good.
- Lisa (10/5): Wonderful emotional stay! - Location was perfect as students, 30years ago at the university we lived for two years at number 5 so this was totally on point!
Property was clean and spacious, and the ideal location for central bath! No welcome pack, a small milk or bread for breakfast would have been a nice touch!
- Thilini (9/5): A home away from home. Loved it! - Clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Really relaxing. The views were great over Bath city. No dedicated parking.

- Natasha (9/5): A beautiful, stylish and period property for exploring all that Bath has to offer. - Fantastic location for walking along the canal or though the City. The house is perfect for a group who like to cook and socialise in a home environment. The house is beautifully furnished and feels like home from home. The smaller bedroom may be better as a twin with 2 x singles but this may only be specific to our group.
- Hadi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Niamh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Derek (9/5): Superb -
- Charlotte (7/5): Good -
- Negar (9/5): Superb - We really enjoyed our stay at the property. It was very spacious with high ceilings and big windows and very nice views. Small issue but the bathrooms were too cold despite having the heating on.
- Alison (10/5): Wonderful stay in Bath at a lovely welcoming property - Great central location. Very large apartment with lovely high ceilings and light filled. The apartment had lots of character and was super clean and tidy plus had all the bits we needed from warm duvets, to plenty of towels and all the kitchen pieces. It was right near the canal for lovely walks towards and away from town. A tescos and independent coffee shop were next door for convenience. When we arrived it was lovely and warm, super nice after a long journey Can't think of anything
- Jason (9/5): Superb -
- Angelita (8/5): Great 3 bedroom place - The place was nice, easy to find. Has Tesco express and coffee shop beside the house. It is very spacious, good rooms and bathrooms. It was overall clean. Have the amenities mentioned. They have big umbrellas to borrow. The house was carpeted. The carpet was newly cleaned and soaking wet when we arrived. We did not bring our shoes inside the house as it was raining and wet carpet can easily attract stain. We got our socks and feet soaking wet.
The kettle had limescale even at the spout.
- Victoria (9/5): Superb -
- Ian (10/5): Close to the centre, without feeling busy. great position! - loved that it was a short walk to the restaurants
and bars, so central, but the views out the
back window we’re of allotments, so it felt rural.
Was easy to get to the canal too which was an
ideal way to walk around the city. parking. Bath is an issue for parking. however,
we booked before we arrived to park at the
Morrisons for the 3 nights and the 20 min walk
was absolutely fine!
- David (10/5): Perfect house in great location - 10 minute walk into bath centre Nothing
- Scott (7/5): Lovely building could do with some tlc - lovely building and position for walking into town. little run down in areas and could do with a deep clean.
- Anonymous (10/5): Perfect! - Excellent apartment in every way! our family of 4 was so comfortable. All of the beds were comfortable, amazing views, and perfect location. We walked down the canals in the evening (20 seconds from the front door) and it was so lovely and serene. The apartment is about a 10 minute pleasant walk from the center of town. We loved everything and will return!
