- Steve (9/5): - Great location with friendly and helpful staff. The room was basic, but ok for the one night we stayed. Breakfast options were welcome from full English to simpleceggs on toast. The shower was a bit weedy and the toilet tissue was very cheap like many hotels: I'd happily pay a bit more to cover the cost of that stolen by unfortunates who must be very desperate.

- Derek (4/5): A bit disappointing and overpriced. - Good location. Disappointingly small room, dirty windows with seagull poo, breakfast room in dingy basement presided over by a rather disagreeable gentleman who also appeared later in the bar - other staff were fine.

Shoved in a dark corner for breakfast as the tables with natural light had been set for dinner. This is 9am - surely you can reset a couple of knives and forks or wait until breakfast is complete before you set for the next meal. No water in the room. A couple of bottles would be expected for the price tag.

- Ann-Marie (5/5): Comfy hotel in a great location and delicious breakfast, but a quiet night's sleep not guaranteed. - Location, views, new carpets and beautiful decor. I loved my room (ample for a night's stay) and the ensuite bath/shower. The breakfast was also superb! Parking wasn't guaranteed so I booked parking 0.5 miles away via an app. I requested a quiet room and when I asked reception on checking in about noise, I was told it was not guaranteed and I'd just have to manage. Unfortunately, I was opposite a very loud couple who arrived and left their room through the night, talking and laughing loudly. There were also several loud motorbikes. All could be heard despite ear plugs but reception didn't help.

It was a last minute booking after being let down at another property and we were given our room quickly, it had a beautiful veiw. The room was a great size and it was so clean. We then had dinner on site which was lovely and again the staff were wonderful they took our drinks down to the restaurant and the food arrived quickly. The room was very quite for being on the seafront so we had a lovely sleep. The staff the next day were again brilliant at breakfast, which was delicious. We checked out just before 11am and the lady on reception was so accommodating and let us store our bags whilst we had a walk around the town as our train didn't leave till 2pm. Every staff member we spoke to was so helpful and we cannot thank them enough for making our stay so enjoyable.

- cathymC1586UL (10/5): Easter break - On arrival we were greated with a warm smile by the two receptionists, our room was lovely with a spectacular sea view. The room was clean, functional and had everything we required, the shower was very spacious. We went to the bar to be greated by a very friendly bar man, who's customer service went beyond our expectations. The restaurant was lovely, food was delicious, the waitress was amazing giving outstanding customer service. The hotel staff could not have done enough totally amazing, honestly couldn't find any fault, totally a great experience. We recommend this hotel, we are definitely going back next Easter.

- merlinsmyth34 (10/5): Coach trip to Weymouth - Excellent experience, staff were friendly and polite, there food was delicious and everyone was well catered for, and the staff were welcoming and obligeing, the rooms were spotless and warm with a lovely view over the sea front, there's was entertainment on two nights which were very enjoyable, I will certainly be returning to the hotel later this year.

- Hannah (9/5): Would highly recommend Hotel Rex, ;94 - The female receptionist that booked us in was lovely, professional, and managed to get us a last minute parking permit despite me being unorganised! Check in was seemless, room was simple but lovely with an amazing view of the small fairground below then out the the beach and shore. Great location, we were in and around all the shops in a few minutes. Breakfast was delicious, service was quick and great hospitality. Overall, a great place to stay, even for 24 hours. The only negative we found was the TV remote was a bit dirty, everything else was spotless!

The hotel is right on the seafront and shops were a short walk away., Amazing breakfast and afternoon dinner. We asked for bingo and we had it every night plus entertainment. Thanks for the lovely time away. I would highly recommend it.

The view from room just took my breath away. There was an issue when I arrived that I had paid twice that I pointed out and not the staff (not the hotels fault) but they resolved this quickly. I paid £52 for a room with a view to die for.
