- Richard (10/5): You'll never be bored staying at the Duman hotel. - A huge room with wonderful view of the city. Lovely bathroom, bright and clean, everything functioned well. Breakfast was big and with lots of choices, eggs/omelet to order fresh. The pool was big for a hotel, even lane lines for the more advanced swimmer. Sauna was clean and hot. There is a 10-lane bowling alley and a huge room with ten tables for table tennis. I've never seen this in any hotel. Great laundry service and affordable. I cannot report anything that struck me negatively.

- Valentijn (6/5): Pleasant - Basically no communication when you check in, they give the room key without any explanation about eg the breakfast or use of the pool. Rooms are old and urgently need renovation, hot water (shower) does not always work. Pool area very busy and seems more for general public than hotel guests.

- Seth (8/5): - It was overall very good. Although it was just a bit annoying that absolutely each time I arrived at my room, my key card didn't work, and I needed to return to reception, 15 floors away, essentially every time I came back to the room.
- Gemma (5/5): Wouldn't return or recommend - This was by far the worst hotel we stayed in during our trip. The best thing about the hotel was its staff - they were (apart from one member of staff) extremely friendly and helpful. The condition of our room was not at all good. We were moved rooms after a night in a room with a shower that didn't work, rain leaking in on to the carpet and curtains that didn't close (very light in room from early morning). In our second room the carpet was stained, wallpaper coming off wall, smelt musty, furniture tatty and air conditioning didn't work( although this was fixed but it just came on it didn't actually cool the room). It is an old hotel which needs to be updated and rooms redone. The swimming pool which can be used is part of a complex - not a problem - lovely staff but has lane swimming all time and you have to wear a swimming hat to use the pool.

- Nicholas (10/5): Nice centrally located hotel, good for business travelers - The room was clean, and the manager at the front desk was very nice. He helped me get a room with a sing king-sized bed instead of 2 separate beds since I was staying alone. He also approved a late check out for me free-of-charge. The air conditioner didn't work in the room at all, was very hot. There was also no butter at the breakfast buffet, when i asked they said they ran out of it.
- Gentur (8/5): A good place for short stay in Astana - Spacious room and comfortable bed. Staffs in charge for the breakfast in Level 16 needs to undergo more trainings. Not responsive to serve the visitors, not hospitable.

- Mujahid (7/5): Overall, our experience was satisfactory, although the air conditioning system was insufficient. - The hotel's location is highly advantageous, with numerous attractions in close proximity. The breakfast provided was satisfactory and fulfilled basic needs, although there is room for improvement. The staff demonstrated a friendly and accommodating attitude in addressing our requests. We encountered a technical issue with the air conditioning unit, but the hotel promptly offered an alternative room while the issue was being resolved. While the overall cleanliness was acceptable, there is potential for further enhancement. In summary, our experience was positive, leading us to extend our stay by an additional night. The air conditioning needs to be fixed, and the water in the bathroom wasn't clear. Breakfast could be better, but overall it was good.

- Shiwen (3/5): Avoid at all costs. - The room has an extremely unpleasant stink, we had to open the window door for an entire afternoon to reduce the smell. The entire hotel in fact is full of this stink, I think from something that has mould growing out from. The washroom is full of metal stains, the towels smell bad too. We are surprised that given the fact it is a big hotel with many floors, how can it be this bad.

- Elizaveta (3/5): Poor - Nice hotel but impossible to sleep because of the noise. All rooms entrances face the restaurant working 7/7 24/24. So during the night you can constantly hear people talking, laughing and celebrating. Hotel personal does not intervene unless you call them to ask help (that you will probably do several times per night if you are unlucky). And even after this the noise may not stop because I quote "we could do noting". So I will probably recommend the restaurant where the guests are more valued, not the hotel itself.

- Oleksii (7/5): Good - Location is fantastic, rooms are ok, water pressure is great :) Overall a good hotel for a short stay, close to the city center, shopping mall and attractions. Will choose it again It's not a complain but would be good to mention it more clearly - the fitness center and the pool are not owned and managed by the hotel, the guests have free access to the public sport center with the pool (so, it is crowded most times)

- Stephen (1/5): We had to change hotels after the first night because the moldy smell in the room was too bad. - There was a moldy smell in the room. The staff said they were aware of it but they said the management did not want to spend the money on cleaning/replacing the carpets. the heat also didn’t work in the rooms - we looked at 4 rooms and all had the same problems. We changed hotels the next morning.
- A (8/5): Very good - The location of the hotel is good, in a quiet place, there is a big shopping mall nearby. The bed was good, I sleep well, The hotel is a bit old, the furniture also and some of them are broken, there is a big smell in the bathroom because of the system of the hotel, there was a huge noise outside on Friday and Saturday nights.
