• Andrea (9/5): Ein kleines Paradies - Ein sehr schönes Anwesen. Unsere Wohnung war schön eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Sauberkeit war top. Der Garten ist wunderschön und groß. Whirlpool und kleiner Pool waren ebenfalls schön. Glühwürmchen gab es Ende Mai kostenlos dazu. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden gerne wiederkommen. Lucca war sowohl mit dem Fahrrad als auch über einen Spaziergang (50 Minuten zu erreichen). Die Lage der Unterkunft ist ideal, um Lucca, Pisa, Volterra, Florenz und Viareggio zu erkunden. Einziges Manko, wir waren zu fünft in der Wohnung und es gab nur ein Badezimmer. Für uns war das allerdings kein Problem.
• Marion Bailey (9/5): Totale Erholung - Wir sind angekommen und wurden super nett, freundlich und sehr familiär begrüsst. die Ausstattung ist wie zu Hause, man hat alles, wir haben sogar noch Kaffeepulver erhalten, da wir vergessen hatten dies einzukaufen. Es gibt im Garten unglaublich viel Platz und Umschwung, Werde gerne wieder gehen, sollte ich nochmals in diese Gegend.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and everything you need is available. Pool was not ready for use, but we had been advised that this might be the case, so not unexpected.

• Steph (9/5): So glad we got to stay here! - Lovely hostess, beautiful setting, perfect accommodation & great location for Lucca parkrun. Only disappointment was that we didn’t realise the pool & hot tub wouldn’t be open as we’re used to swimming in the English sea in winter so 24 degree air temperature was too hot for us to play tennis in the afternoon in the gorgeous garden so we went to the sea instead!

• Ignacy (10/5): Byliśmy tam krótko, ale Villa bardzo nam się spodobała i na pewno tam wrócimy. - Villa zlokalizowana jest w malowniczej okolicy w pobliżu zabytkowego akweduktu. Można wybrać się na spacer w góry, zwiedzić Lukę oraz wybrać się do niedalekiej Pizy. Ciche i bardzo ładne miejsce. W mojej opinii apartament bardzo dobrze wyposażony. Warto zapoznać się z zostawioną przez właścicieli broszurką. Można byłoby za dodatkową opłatą udostępnić detergenty do prania (skoro jest już pralka, a czasami chciałoby się coś uprać).

L’unica cosa che ci ha dato fastidio era tanta umidità (appartamento a piano terra) e di conseguenza un odore di umidità molto forte

We booked 3 apartments as we were 19 people and we felt like at home. We were also treated very well! We have no complains!

La casa è accogliente, ben fornita di tutto il necessario ( compreso di aria condizionata per caldo e freddo ) e situata in una posizione davvero comoda e piacevole per spostarsi a Lucca. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo e lo staff è stato sempre gentilissimo e molto disponibile. L’unico piccolo aspetto che si potrebbe migliorare riguarda l’assenza delle zanzariere. Il giardino è meraviglioso con un ampio spazio e verde molto curato.

• Alexandra (8/5): Nice location on the rural side - We had the Elena apartament, which is located in the main building at the ground level. It has two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, one living room and a kitchen. Overall, quite big. The garden looks very nice and the area is quiet and beautiful. We got from the host some complementary water and some cookies, which was very nice. We did not get the rooms that we booked, according to the pictures on booking, so if you really want to see exactly where you will stay, ask for more details. The kitchen looked not at its best and with a little taking care of it, it can definitely be better. Also, they don’t provide coffee at all, so be prepared in advance.

Or you can walk along the arch’s, local restaurants and bars a short distance walk and supermarket. It was the perfect break from an otherwise busy-city vacation that we needed. The space was huge, and 2 bathrooms were an amazing perk for our family of four. We really appreciated the washing machine and large drying racks, and on sunny days it was lovely to have the windows open. There is a lovely walking trail nearby under an ancient aqueduct, and local shops are conveniently located. Make sure to spend a day in nearby Lucca. The hosts gifted us an amazing homemade apple cake upon arrival, such a nice treat!

I recently stayed at this Villa Rossini and had the best time! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The kitchen was fully equipped and made it so easy to prepare meals—definitely a huge plus for anyone who loves to cook! The villa itself was comfortable, spotless, and had a welcoming vibe that made us feel right at home. Getting to the villa was incredibly simple and hassle-free, which was a relief after a long journey. The host was super sweet and informative, always ready to offer helpful tips and make sure we had everything we needed. It made the stay feel even more personal and enjoyable. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and I can't recommend this place enough!

The staff are fantastic. There was nothing we didn’t like but struggled some days with the location without a car. That said the owners helped with taxi’s etc.

• Ivan (6/5): Unfortunatly it was expencive and didn't meet my expectations. - The neighbourhood, the opportunity to take a bike to ride on the property. The distance from amassing Lucca. This is an aparthotel with many rooms close to each other. We were lucky that only one family was staying at this time, but it could have been a crowd-pleasing place. Outside, the building looks authentic, but there is no history inside. Also, there is a lot of "white" light, which is highly inconvenient. Besides this, there were a lot of artificial flowers inside. The host didn't speak English at all. However, they were impolite and told us their thoughts about the country's politics that we are left in.

Our children loved the pool and gardens with ping pong and tennis. Lucca is a brilliant town to visit also. The owner was so lovely and welcoming. There wasn’t anything we disliked and we would definitely stay again in this beautiful house in a beautiful region.

• Vincent (10/5): We felt privileged to stay in Manuela's wonderful family home. It made our holiday! - Where do we start. Villa Rossini was just the most wonderful experience from the very moment we were greeted by the lovely, friendly host Manuela. She explained everything about the villa in great detail and with such care to make sure we understood. She had even left some tasty home made biscuits and delicacies for us together with cold bottled water in the fridge. The villa was furnished with beautiful period pieces and was genuinely just a glorious space altogether and on the most tranquil setting. The beds were spotless and comfortable and the grounds and the swimming pool were a wonderful bonus given the hot weather. Beautiful, colourful shrubs and flowers adorned the outside space which also had several shady spots with tables and chairs to just allow you to relax and take in the true splendour of your surroundings. Villa Rossini had ample parking space too and was within a two to three minutes drive of the local supermarket which was well stocked with everything you could ever need for your stay. It was only a short drive of around ten minutes or so to the very pretty town of Lucca with its vast array of shops, cafe bars and restaurants. Fantastic architecture, historical sites and lots more were all to be found within the walls of this stunning town. We'll definitely be returning to Villa Rossini. Without doubt. Nothing could have been better. We loved every single minute of our stay. Villa Rossini is a hidden gem!

• Els (5/5): Passable - Garden, surroudings.. very peacefull. We had booked fot an extra day with the owner and were kicked out. Do not trust the messages you write the owners.
• Angela (8/5): Rustic villa in the outskirts of Lucca - We stayed in the 3 bedroomed part (one floor) of the main villa for a week. Rather rustic and dated/tired but clean enough and it grows on you. Surprisingly good shower (and a bath which is always a bonus in Italy) and comfy beds (we didn’t use the sofa bed so can’t comment in it). Kitchen has everything you need and there’s a great old stone BBQ in the garden / outdoor area for that apartment’s exclusive use which we used a few times. Extensive secure garden and great pool with a separate hot tub. No aircon but despite the heatwave we managed OK. Elena and Marco were very helpful and always on hand if needed (they live on the top floor). Great place for a family holiday and dogs (ours was made very welcome), table tennis, bikes available (seen better days) but got us into Lucca a couple of times (1/2 hour away by bike) following the track underneath the amazing aqueduct that runs outside the villa straight to Lucca train station. Supermarket round the corner and good walks all around.

• Mirna (10/5): Perfect, we will return next year :) - The property is huge, and heaven on earth, with all the flowers and grass and thousands of fireflies in the night, and mountains in the background. With a charming pool and a shaded table set next to it, perfect for a vacation with kids. Lucca is the most charming Tuscan city, and riding on the walls - unforgettable. Having shaded parking space in front of the villa was also a big plus. The TV did not contain any non-italian channels. I would highly appreciate having some video streaming services on the TV set.

• Zachary (8/5): Lovely old house with modern amenities; fantastic, friendly host, watch out for the mosquitos. - Beautiful property, a little bit difficult to find via Google but we figured it out from the pictures on the website. Additional amenities were very complete including tennis, table tennis, badminton, and even pickle ball. Excellent pastry/coffee shop just five minutes away made for a fantastic breakfast of Italian pastries and cappuccinos. Maybe just the time of the year but the mosquitos were horrible. Grandchildren got eaten alive after just a few minutes outside. The actual beds were very comfortable. The downstairs bed (futon I think) was very hard and uncomfortable unfortunately.
• Ikaterina (8/5): Nice and cosy place nean Lucca - Lovely home near Lucca. The village is beautiful and we had a great walk in the area. The two bedroom villa was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Would have been nice if we had some basic stuff like coffee and tea availble for our first night as we arrived late and didn't have the chance to buy in advance.
• Debbie (10/5): Fabulous Luccombe - The beautiful gardens and views. Our hosts were amazing. Marco drove us to get pizza on our first night and was so helpful. Would definitely go back.
• Brigitte (10/5): Wedding and family stay - beautiful location, beautiful area. We've had our wedding at Villa Rossini. Such a lovely property, people and very close to Lucca. All the apartments are very well equipped!

• Laura (7/5): Quaint property in beautiful surroundings - For reference we stayed in the 2 bedroom house which forms the bottom floor of the large house. There are 2 x 2 bedroom houses on offer so check when booking. It's in a beautiful setting in the countryside, with lovely grounds and pool area. Very quaint and rustic. It was a really good size and the host friendly. Overall we enjoyed our stay and it was a great base for exploring Tuscany. It could have been a bit cleaner - floors and surfaces etc. Although it's a very old country house with old materials, so I imagine more difficult to thoroughly clean. We also had an issue where the hot water stopped working on the first day. Unfortunately we were in and out so didn't see the host around and were unsure how best to locate them. This meant we had a few days of freezing cold showers. However once spoken to it was fixed later the same day!

• Dorit (8/5): Very good - Excellent location right beside the aquaduct, easy cycle into Lucca. Very friendly hosts and beautiful grounds, well equipped with table tennis, bikes, grass tennis court, BBQ and pool. There is no air conditioning and no mosquito nets in front of the windows.
