The staff are VERY friendly and helpful. Provided great recommendations. Breakfast was an entire plate of pastries with juice and coffee -- delicious. The location is great. Right on the edge of town and the no traffic zone. Easy access to the town on one side or to go down the hill to San Damiano. I am used to small showers, but at least in our room, it was incredibly small. Otherwise the room was comfortable and again, the balcony was amazing and made this a place I would always come back to.

Neben herrlichen cornetti und kuchen wurden schinken, käse & eierspeise serviert. Optimale verkehrsanbindung, da nur 2 minuten zum bus an der haltestelle piazza mateotti. Die altstadt fussläufig erreichbar. Tickets für den bus zur stazione im bus, vorverkauf in den bars erhältlich, oder neuestens mit tip tap & bancomatkarte im bus direkt. Wer deutschsprachige fernsehprogramme erwartet, wird - aber nicht nur hier- enttäuscht.

- Angelo (10/5): Soggiorno piacevolissimo. - Delizioso Hotel a conduzione familiare, situato a circa 600 m dalla Basilica di San Francesco e a 100 m dalla Cattedrale di San Rufino. E' dotato di un grande giardino e di una terrazza che offre una vista straordinaria sulla vallata e di un parcheggio interno immerso tra gli ulivi. Le camere sono accoglienti e pulitissime ed il bagno, anche se di dimensioni non ampissime, è dotato di lavabo di grande pregio, in ceramica di Deruta, realizzato dall'artista Domiziani, che apprezzo moltissimo. I proprietari sono persone gentilissime e molto cordiali, sono disponibili ed attente ad ogni necessità. La prima colazione, straordinaria! Lo consiglio vivamente. Nulla.

Close walking distance to the ER as I had to walk there middle of night with gallbladder attack. The single room does face traffic... closed window was ok...didn't bother me but may someone else.

- Stefania (10/5): Peaceful and charming stay - We stayed at the annex for two nights and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The location is stunning, set in the medieval town of Assisi, tucked away in a cosy mews that feels peaceful and authentic. The apartment itself is beautifully decorated, spacious, and equipped with every comfort you could need. It strikes the perfect balance between charm and practicality, making it easy to relax and feel at home. The area is incredibly tranquil — you can breathe in the fresh air, admire the beautiful night sky, and wake up in the morning to the delightful sound of a rooster singing, which adds to the unique atmosphere. Everything is within walking distance, including the town centre, the magnificent Basilica di San Francesco d'Assisi, and the Sanctuary of Carlo Acutis. It was truly an amazing stay, and we would happily return. There is nothing we didn't like.
- Noriega (6/5): Buen emplazamiento, lugar limpio y bonito, una pena la falta de detalle - El sitio es muy bonito y está cuidado. Es un alojamiento muy especial en un antiguo anfiteatro romano. La reforma está muy bien hecha. El apartamento estaba muy mal equipado. Llegamos por la noche y no había ni un plátano ni nada de recibimiento. Al día siguiente tp había nada para poder hacerse un café o tomar algo antes de salir. Ni un papel con instrucciones y recomendaciones para poder desayunar por el pueblo o saber dónde ir a la compra. Nos pusieron un edredón extra pero sin funda ni nada y limpian cada 2 días. Cuando llegó el fin de semana por fin abrieron el desayuno para las habitaciones y pudimos ir, pero me pareció escaso. Aunque la dueña contestaba a todo rápidamente, no apareció al irnos.

- 247pollys (10/5): The Perfect Hotel in Assisi - My husband and I recently stayed at the Hotel Ideale for a week. We absolutely loved the hotel and look forward to returning. Our room was clean and spacious with a lovely view of the valley. The breakfasts were abundant with meat, cheese, yogurts, eggs, pastries and fruit. The owners were so kind and welcoming. We were sad when our stay ended but will return.

Minimal fruit selection. No olive oil offered. No skim milk.

The staff is very friendly and attentive. The breakfast is delightfully prepared. It is a very short walk to the city center. And there is plenty of parking. There are no downsides. - Brigitte (7/5): Insgesamt schön. - Die Lage im ehem. Amphitheater in dem Nebengebäude des Hotels in dem unser Appartement war ist sensationell! Die Aussicht vom eigentlichen Hotel ideale wirklich sehr schön. Die Sauberkeit hätte etwas besser sein können. Vor allem Küche unf Bad. Ausserdem gab es zwei Stühle die schon etwas älter sind und damit teilw. durchgessen mit schmutzigen Lehnen und großen Flecken auf der Sitzfläche. Preis ist grenzwertig. Aber in Assisi kann man wohl etwas mehr nehmen.
