• bristow (10/5): Excellent value for money and would stay again. - Excellent service, fantastic room well decorated. Bed and pillows really comfortable. Breakfast amazing. Could not watch the TV from the bed without looking at an angle . Tv would be better wall mounted directly in front of bed, my opinion. I also think the lighting though very nice could have been brighter, I think the bulbs in lights were warm white , not normal bright white that I am used to. Again my opinion.

Die Gastgeberin bietet selbstgemachte Marmeladen zum Frühstück an, diese kann man auch kaufen. Große Auswahl an gekochtem Frühstück oder Müsli und frisches Obst. Tee-station auf dem Zimmer, die Wäsche roch alles frisch und sauber. Wir hatten das große Zimmer mit zwei separaten Betten. Es ist alles neu gemacht, auch das Bad, mit großer begehbaren Dusche. Keine Steckdosen im Badezimmer.

We had a family room, it was a very good size and comfortable beds. Would definitely recommend staying at Chillington House.

The rooms are spacious and extremely clean with very comfortable beds. The owners are so welcoming and friendly and in the morning provide a very tasty breakfast! The location is excellent with great beaches, restaurants and pubs within easy driving distance. The owners have produced a very detailed guidebook to the area telling you everything you need to know. We will be back! Thank you.

Lovely dining and sitting area. The proprietors were absolutely wonderful. Hmm.. cannot think of anything! I wasn’t crazy on the village in which it is located.. but the property itself was wonderful. And lots of picturesque places very close by. Village pub was closed (closes Mondays and Tuesdays) - but I found an amazing pub just a mile or so down the road at Stokenham.

• Michael (9/5): Great location, beautiful area, excellent B&B - The location is excellent, there are many places to visit within a short distance from Chillington House, Dartmouth, kingsbridge, Salcombe, Beesands, Totnes, Newton Ferrers, Noss Mayo, and many more. Good choice of pubs and restaurants within easy reach. Excellent breakfast with really good choice. Some of the Lanes to get to beautiful locations are narrow, but there are passing places.

• Stephen (10/5): Our stay was heavenly & relaxing. - THE Most Scrumptious breakfasts with award-winning jams, melt-in-my-mouth smoked mackerel and, delicious omelette, whilst my partner savoured a hearty meal including sausage & egg muffin; a vegetarian grill and the full English Breakfast. All were well timed after a hearty cereal (multiple choices) with platters of divine fruits (fresh and dried) accompanied with a gorgeous hot brew. And the furnishings in our well appointed & spacious room were just beautiful. Simply Delightful hosts also. Leaving (just want to return).

The smell downstairs in the morning was revolting- strong smell of bacon and we had to sit next to a window. The staff were lovely and prolly didn’t notice the strong smells but it was very off putting and I couldn’t wait to leave. Room was upstairs with no elevator - not ideal for elderly and no warning so we didn’t bring our bags in.

• sriosglez (9/5): Cozy stay in Devon - From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly welcoming. The room was big and immaculate, with a comfortable bed and sofa area. The entire space had a warm, homey vibe. I personally loved the hand wash and conditioner (and the note about reducing plastic use). We also loved the breakfast in the morning, lots of options to choose from and all of them homemade and delicious! We had a few issues with the wifi. It was a bit inconsistent during the evening. However, we had issues with internet in every place we stayed during our 4 day trip across Devon, so we assume the internet is not very reliable in the area.
