• Amel (8/5): - Le personnel est au top surtout le personnel qui s’occupe du parking à l’entrée de l’hôtel qui sont juste au top - Pour nettoyage c’était pas top notamment les chambres la salle de bain malgres tout ils font leurs maximum sa se voit je pense qu’il manque du personnel de nettoyage - petit déjeuner top varier et de bonne qualité - mauvais point la piscine à l’étage est payante et chère ce qui n’est pas indiquer lors de la réservation et j’avais réservé l’hôtel justement pour la piscine. Néanmoins l’hôtel reste correcte dans l’ensemble.

• 913rabahb (10/5): AZ Vieux kouba - I recently stayed at a lovely hotel in the old Kouba city of Algiers for four nights, and it was a truly relaxing experience. The hotel was clean, well-maintained, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with anything I needed. One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious meals offered at the hotel’s restaurant, featuring a variety of flavorful dishes that made every meal enjoyable. The peaceful ambiance and comfortable rooms made it easy to unwind after exploring the city. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Algiers.

De plus la piscine intérieur n'était pas entretenue et un des bassins n'était pas remplis. La piscine extérieur à l’étage en supplément n’était pas disponible car il y avait un tournage télé ….

Points négatifs: chambre sale, porte fenêtre vitre cassé avec un enfant qui marche à 4 pattes pas du tout en sécurité, tapis et moquette non aspiré, cheveux part terre, traces de tasses à café qui colle sur table de nuits, lorsque l’on demande un drap car il fait chaud dehors, on nous dis que la couette suffit car il y a la clim donc il a fallut expliquer que l’on ne met pas la clim à cause du bébé, l’agent d’entretien qui toc et sonne et insiste à 9h du matin dans la chambre (nous dormions car nous sommes en vacances…) pour nous dire à quelle heure on part Attention: la piscine que vous voyez en photo n’est pas accessible payante cher par personne et même si on la souhaite soit il y a un shooting photo soit elle est privatisé pour un événement. La piscine disponible et gratuite se trouve au -1 côté spa et la bas vous avez que des hommes qui se baigne qui nous regarde avec insistance malgré le faite que l’on soit habillé c’était juste pour faire profiter les enfants. • MICHELE (4/5): - Aucune piscine disponible, nous n'avons pas été prévenus alors que j'ai choisi cet hôtel uniquement pour la piscine !!! Nous étions 3 dans les chambres et chaque jour, nous avions des équipements pour 2 (serviettes de bain, dosettes de café, bouteilles d'eau). Pas de couette pour la 3ème personne. Il fallait toujours réclamer.

• CELSO (2/5): Worst experience ever - Horrible experience. The hotel is too expensive for what it offers. The internet connection is horrible and that even affects making payments witth the credit card. Besides that, the hotel claims that they have a 24/7 shuttle service, which is not true. Because of that I had to leave the hotel 8 hours prior to my flight and they didn't mention that the taxi only accepted their local currency, The hotel staff doesn not trust the customers and forces you to pay for meals before you have them, they don't let the meals be charged to the room number. The hotel cleanliness is subpar by even the most lenient standards. The bathroom floor was so dusty that the white rug became brown as soon as it got wet.
• Elkrim (2/5): - When I checked at the hotel, a manager told me that I needed to pay 10000 DZ($75) to use the pool, which was was included in my reservation. Then he said that I’m not allowed to the pool because I’m a single guy and it was only reserved for women. Their website or Expedia description doesn’t mention anything like that. I mainly paid to use the hotel amenities such as the pool but ended up not been allowed. Very disappointing.

• 713hadjerm (6/5): The hotel is good but service is deteriorating ! - I visited this hotel twice. The first one was in September 2020 and I had a very good impression. The service was excellent, room and swimming pool were all very good. For this reason, I went back again after one year. However, the service is not the same anymore. The room has not been cleaned properly (some Hair behind the bed), the Lunch menu is so poor and no variety provided. The food was not as expected at all (quality vs price) and there’s no menu provided for clients to check and be able to choose whatever they like. When we arrived, the TV was not working and when we requested to be fixed the technician only came when we made another reminder after almost 2h. Also, for the swimming pool there was no towels and we were not even informed that we should book as early as possible (Fortunately we came before and we know). The hotel is well designed and it’s a waste if the service is poor and clients are not having their best impression every time they visit.

• pserice (10/5): Incredible - The best hotel in this category, and with the best staff of all the hotels i have been to in Algeria. Prices are very competitive and you can have company contracts. Room service is great, a clean and well equipped gym. Beds are very good ans it even has a pool/dinner area on the roof. I highly recomend it when in Algeria. They have several other hotels , all with the same installations
• KhaledK793 (10/5): Excellent Hotel - It is my favorite hotel in Algiers, because of the excellent services overall, especially the very polite reception team , Sonia, Mohamed, Achraf and the rest. The rooms are extremely clean with nice decor. Next week will be the opening of a new building with SPA facilities and roof swimming pool, the access will be granted to all hotel clients. I would like to thanks AZ hotels group GM Mr. Sadoun who welcomed me warmly when I arrived and he didn’t leave before he was sure that everything was OK. I strongly recommend AZ vieux Kouba.
• meriouma_alg (10/5): Nice hotel - We had a flight to catch at 2am the following day and so we needed somewhere not too far from the airport, comfortable so we could have a rest ready for the journey ahead and which was not too expensive and AZ Vieux Kouba ticked all these. The room we had was very spacious, the bed was comfortable and the powerful AC was perfect as it was a very hot day. We were able to have a nap in the afternoon and then went out for dinner in the evening. Staff were very friendly! I can't comment on the breakfast or the restaurant as we didn't use the facility.

Chambre propre et une literie digne des grands hôtels on y dort tellement bien et c est un hôtel calme ! Dommage que il n’y a pas de terrasse ni la piscine qui étaient encore en travaux. Hôtel bien situé.
• rktravelling (8/5): Comfortible stay Vieux Kouba Algiers - On a recent business trip I stayed at the 4-star AZ Vieux Kouba Algiers which is part of the Algerian Hotel group AZ Hotels. The hotel is situated in the bustling neighbourhood of Kouba, which is about 9kms from the city centre. This hotel offers modern updated rooms, all amenities that one can expect and good wifi. The minibar is not stocked, so you can fill it with your own consumables if you so wish. Dining here is all buffet, depending on occupancy, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you stay here during low occupancy, the options to choose from are very limited, but delicious. The buffet options are standard, but tasty. No alcohol is served here. This is a business hotel, so weekends are extremely quiet. Currently they are extending the hotel, so the pool and hammam are closed. So if you are not into training at the small gym, you can walk the quaint streets for some shopping or try the lovely nearby restaurants frequented by the locals. The only annoyances that I had were that the room access card was not always working and the construction work being done on the extension of the hotel can get noisy, especially when they work at night pumping cement! The fitness club was not always kept clean as there were sweat stains on the tiled floor and gym equipment on some days. The best part of my stay here was the excellent staff. The staff compliment is young, vibrant, professional, always smiling and going out of their way to accommodate you. I got upgraded to an executive room, seeing that my stay was for 3 weeks at no extra charge which was great! This hotel is competetively priced when compared to other business hotels like the Sofitel or the Aurassi, which is double in rate. I will stay with the group again when I come to Algiers.

On apprécie le plateau de avec eau chaude, thé et nescafé ... Le personnel est très serviable, le petit-déjeuner est impeccable, du sucré et du salé, et ça change d'un matin à un autre ... Il est situé dans un quartié populaire et animé où l'on trouve plusieurs restaurants et des cafés et des taxis qui passent souvent. On est un peu loin du centre ville, mais c'est un détail vu le niveau de tranquilité avec lequel on peut séjourner. Je recommande sans réserve pour séjourner à Alger.

A little far from the city and a kettle in the room would have been nice, but the morning coffee service was friendly and nice once we realised we could order. Some lovely little eating spots around the hotel and fairly easy to find a taxi Don't let the hotel order you a taxi. They have a local who is expensive. It is quite easy to venture outside and find one yourself. Lovely little local snacks at the cafe next door (below) and a very nice coffee shop and burger joint in the road down from the hotel. An enjoyable experience. The aircon was great!

• jcaulum (10/5): Great visit to Algiers - Was booked here by a good local travel agent (Omar, Fancy Travel Algeria) and found it to be absolutely great. Small hotel but big enough to have a restaurant with nice food for breakfast and dinner; small pool to relax in; friendly check in staff who spoke Arabic, French, and English- or who were motivated to understand. Really great front desk staff. We had a dinner-inclusive rate so we ate there most nights, after sightseeing, and it was great. Friendly waiters, and good food, though selection was limited since it's a small restaurant. I'd return for sure to eat. As for the neighborhood, it's a great place to walk around and be the only tourist-- it's a nice walking neighborhood with dozens of local shops and restaurants, supermarkets, coffee shops, etc. We stayed here twice (first for two nights, second time for one night) and both of us loved it. Algeria is still a secret destination for tourists! Such a nice trip.
