- Alex (8/5): - Stunning location, 10 out of 10 for the views. The lodge was nice albeit quite basic in facilities. We had two issues with our stay, one was that in the run-up to our stay I wrote two emails to the owners with requests for information and didn't receive any replies which was quite frustrating and poor communication. Secondly, one of the guests brought their dog and then left it in their room whilst they drank downstairs so we were kept up from 1-3 am on one of our nights by the dog's crying and pawing from within the owner's bedroom door. I was unable to find a member of staff to assist with this and needless to say it ruined our night's sleep!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Deutlich schlechter als erwartet - Lage: JWD ca. 50 km bis zur nächsten Kein Blick zum Meer sondern zum Parkplatz. Im EG hört man die oberen Stockwerke. Zimmer: Größe ca. 15m² alte und sehr einfache Einrichtung im Stil einer Jugendherberge. Kein Fernseher.Kein Kühlschrank. Zwei Einzelbetten (zum Glück). Doppelbetten dem Vernehmen nach sehr schmal und weich. Technik: WLAN ok. Kein Zimmerservice = Betten selber machen. Frühstück wurde nicht nachgelegt also pünktlich dasein ...es geht schnell hier. Gelegentlich (wohl Mi-So) Abendessen 25$/Person zubuchbar. Positiv: gemeinsame Mahlzeiten an einer großen Tafel. Aber insgesamt: stimmt Preis/Leistung nicht.

- Maureen (10/5): - The lodge is on a bluff overlooking a majestic white sand beach. Although it is an older property and guests must share a bathroom, it is a unique and fun place to stay. The rooms were clean, and the beds very comfortable. The views of the beach were amazing. The staff were very kind and helpful, and our stay was supplemented by them with free coffee/tea and cakes on arrival. Food was excellent. I will stay here again!

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wir hatten einen wunderbaren, leider viel zu kurzen Aufenhalt. Das Hotel befindet sich auf der abgelegen Insel Lewis, wunderschön gelegen mit Blick auf einen Sandstrand. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommen. Es wird versucht einem den Aufenhalt so angenehm wie nur möglich zu gestalten, ohne zu aufdringlich zu sein! Das gemeinschaftliche Wohnzimmer ist wunderschön eingerichtet, ein offener Kamin wärmt einem auf den schroffen schottischen Inseln. Das Frühstück wird frisch zubereitet mit köstlichem Räucherlachs aus der hauseigenen Räucherei! Tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, auch im Vergleich mit dem Angebot auf der Insel.
