• Diana (6/5): First time visitor to Maclean experience has left us not wanting to stop over again. - Easy walk to eating facilities. Roadworks make it difficult to get to. A heads up before we arrived would have been appreciated. Staff at front desk were not welcoming, very gruff and felt like an inconvenience no information about places to eat or go. Note two story with no lift. Hard lugging gear up stairs.

Air con and TV where great, no microwave in the room but that was made up for when I found the communal kitchen (downstairs) which has microwave toaster etc and also had a FREE washing machine and dryer for guests to use. Incredible! The bowlo Chinese is really good as well. Would highly recommend staying here- super comfortable, lovely staff and you can even heat your Chinese up and do your washing at the same time 😆🙏

• Julie (7/5): Except for a disturbed sleep maybe due to being near the stairs the room was comfortable and quiet. - The room was clean and relatively comfortable. It was quite large with a table and chairs for a couple. It was close to the club for a meal and a short drive down to the main street. The reception staff may have been busy as they did not seem interested in talking. The room was quiet but I did not have a great sleep. It may have been because I was near the stairs to the 2nd floor rooms. I woke a couple of times and could not work out why so I am only presuming. Other than that I was happy with the room and my overnight stay.

• hill-smith (8/5): Maclean holiday - The staff were very helpful, kind and obliging. The Manager was wonderful. The mix up with the room. My name is Robyn Hill-Smith and another lady Robyn Hills also booked in. This was a huge mix up with rooms, communication and even with reviews as we were receiving her messages. She arrived the day before us and left the day before us. She was booked into our room. We were given another next door, but I have difficulty with stairs, to get to our Executive room, and so the Manager gave us a room downstairs that helped us greatly, we were very thankful to her. Unfortunately we paid more for the executive room than the one downstairs so was out of pocket. The room was a lot smaller than the one we paid for as that's all they had available. I did ask for ground floor accommodation.
