- Lindsay (10/5): - Great location, close to train station and water taxis. We liked that it was in a quieter neighborhood but still had excellent dining options within easy walking distance. It was nice to retreat back to the hotel after visiting the busy tourist attractions.
- Michael (6/5): - Not much to say good or bad. This isn’t really a hotel. It’s a room with a code used to entry. There is no front desk. No one to call if you have an issue. Communicating leading up to the stay is basically zero. Expedia also can’t really do anything to help communicate as the Grifoni doesn’t really respond to Expedia either. That said, the room was nice but small and once we got the instructions on how to get into the building and then the room, it was fine.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Okay place to stay - The check-in was easy did not have to meet with anyone, we were given codes for the main door and to rooms. It advertised that there was AC, but the thermostats are locked and it was pretty warm in the room. The main bed was fine, but the extra bed was very hard. Was located in a good location.

- Karen (2/5): - Disappointing Stay at Hotel Grifoni Venice I recently booked a stay at Hotel Grifoni in Venice, expecting a decent hotel experience for the $420 per night rate I paid. Unfortunately, my stay was far from satisfactory. From the moment I entered the room, I was met with an unpleasant surprise - a swarm of mosquitoes. Despite the fact that I had not opened the window, it seemed the housekeeping staff had done so when cleaning, allowing these pests to infiltrate the room. I spent a significant amount of time and energy trying to eliminate the mosquitoes, which left me feeling exhausted and irritated. The size of the room itself was acceptable, but the lack of a proper table and the presence of only a small bedside table was quite inconvenient. This made it challenging to work or unpack comfortably, as I had expected from a hotel at this price point. Moving on to the bathroom, the size was adequate, but the lack of a countertop and proper ventilation made it feel quite humid and uncomfortable after taking a shower. Additionally, the towel hooks felt loose and insecure, and the towel warmer was visibly dirty. To add to my disappointment, the hair dryer in the bathroom was broken, with the electrical wire exposed, posing a potential safety hazard. Overall, my experience at Hotel Grifoni was far from the quality I had anticipated, given the price I paid. The mosquito infestation, limited furniture, and subpar bathroom amenities made for an unpleasant stay.

We called because the AC was not working, they said they would send someone, no one came. Parking says it’s on site and it is not, we had a hard time finding parking and when I reached out hours before we arrived I didn’t get a response but 2 days after we checked out. Lots of hotels in the area, pick a different one.
- John (6/5): - The central area was good. Really convenient was the grocery store right across the walk and the two restaurants right beside were good quality and price. Inconvenient was the no AC allowed at all if the outdoor temp is below 25°C. The windows open and along with the outside air comes the outside noise. But, that's Venice. The shower was small. Might be difficult for a bigger person. All things considered, was pretty good.

- Nicole (6/5): - The hotel was nice but we prefer to stay somewhere that has an actual front desk when traveling, if there are any issues its nice to ask someone in person to speak with, we also noticed there were no hooks for hanging things & there was a family next door with a baby & several small children that were very active so & we could hear them speaking, crying & running up & down in the room & the stairs, we asked for a fan or to turn on the "fan" mode on the a/c system to help tune out the noise but that was not allowed, so I would say bring ear plugs but the place was clean & the restaurant across the street was EXECELLET, its not high end but is VERY GOOD!

- Jessica (8/5): - A lovely 4-night stay at this hotel. We didn’t have any problems with the key codes for the building and the room as they were sent through to us in advance. The room we had was large, comfortable and freshened up daily. The location is great - close to the train station and near lots of great shops, restaurants and cafes. The only negative is that the walls of the hotel are really thin, and so you can hear people coughing and walking around in the rooms nearby. We didn’t find this too much of an issue, however, but something to bear in mind if you’re looking for a really quiet hotel!

The first link they sent was obviously broken, and they didn't respond to a request for a correct link for almost 3 weeks. I finally had to call FIVE times the day before check-in- their Whatsapp wasn't working, they weren't receiving emails, they weren't receiving text messages. They didn't respond to hotel.com messages either. Finally hotels.com called their number and got them to send an actual email with the correct links after I told them I would cancel the reservation if it wasn't received (remember, no way to enter the hotel!). Upon arrival- their advertised air conditioning didn't work, and the thermostat was dead. I called their support line- the lady on the phone, who couldn't have been more unhelpful, demanded proof that the thermostat was dead, and asked for a video. So I sent a video- she was supposed to call me back, and did not. At that point I wrote it off. Do NOT stay here under any circumstances if you wish to actually enjoy your stay in Venice.

- Tommy121378 (2/5): Unfortunately a failure. - Unfortunately a failure. The hotel has a reasonably good location, but you won't meet any staff here. Everything is only given for a short time. You can only complain via WhatsApp and that usually doesn't work either. The room was cool and partly unusual. The bathroom was not clean, full of dust. The radiator didn't work. Unfortunately it was pretty cold in the room. The furniture resort wasn't even permanently attached to the wall, it was just standing loose in the closet. All in all, we absolutely cannot recommend the hotel. It is way too expensive and offers zero service. The rooms are very noisy, the lights in the hallway are constantly on and the doors also have no seals. As a result, the sound is completely transmitted into the room and you can't find a quiet minute to sleep. All in all, I would absolutely not recommend the hotel. It's actually a shame for Venice.
- Dennis (2/5): - If I could give a 0 I would. They kept sending broken links to upload documents. It took forever to get that sorted with them, but eventually we did. Then come check in time and they never sent the codes to get into the room. I had to find another hotel at 10pm. I texted and called them at 7pm (was supposed to have the code at 3) and no response. The next morning they casually text, sorry we forgot to send you the codes. They wanted me to then come at that moment. I said no. Completely unprofessional to leave people stranded because they forgot. Expedia eventually did a refund. The relocation service on Expedia though was not good. The only thing they could come up with was a hotel 45 minutes outside of Venice. I did a search at 10pm and made one phone call and had a new hotel. Not sure why Expedia had such a hard time.

- Catherine (8/5): - We really appreciated where it was located, within walking distance to lots of things, and easy access to restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Having a keyless entry was great - no keys to think about. It was very quiet at night, making up for some bad sleeps that we’d had in Florence!

After getting broken links to upload our documents and pay the city tax we called them and after a long exchange on WhatsApp we supposedly resolved it with the hotels confirmation. After that, they never sent our code to access the room. They do not pick up the phone, answer WhatsApp, email or anything. We had to book another hotel at 10pm after prepaying for this. Avoid this place as it is a complete disaster. If I could give 0 I would.

- Nomechompski (8/5): Decent, clean base for Venice stays - Loved our stay at Grofoni hotel. Our room was a good size and very clean. The location was really good too, about a 10 minute walk from the train station and 5 minutes from Sa Toma. it was about 10 minutes walk from Rialto and St Marks too. It was a quiet area, very local and not too ‘touristy’, with a couple of restaurants outside and some really good trattorias close by. We heard no noise from the restaurants outside. We could hear the people above us walking around sometimes but it wasn’t anything we couldn’t handle. If this might bother you, just bring earplugs. The room had air conditioning too but we didn’t need it as the weather was quite cool. There is no lift in the building so bare it in mind if you’re less able as you’ll need to carry luggage up the stairs. The hotel doesn’t have a check in desk so everything is done via links send in email. I had issues with this on hotels.com as they seemed to redact the emails that were sent from the hotel. I called them a couple of times before we were due to arrive and had to pay the city tax in a link, and then check in with a Google form. You then get codes to enter the building and your room via WhatsApp message the day before your arrival. I’d suggest calling them if you don’t receive your check in links. Our only improvement would be there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. There were items in the downstairs communal area but we weren’t sure if we were allowed to use them! - Véronique (2/5): - It was a freaking nightmare ! Don’t go there! The hotel is clean and well placed BUT no service at all !! You are not able to speak to anyone. You have a phone number to text but only from 9:00 to 18:00 Monday to Saturday … outside of this time frame you are on your own. No emergency number. Nothing. So if you have a problem like we did … good luck. You arrive, you have a code for the front door and a code for your room. Around 18:30, the power turned off in our room on our second day. Which also caused the number pad to our room to not work. We were stuck outside our room… The door would just not open. We tried calling the owner but no answer, no emergency number, nothing. We tried to call for help until almost midnight, where we figured out that the owner is only available from 9:00 to 18:00 Monday to Saturday... Luckily some friendly other resident (who also had issues with the service) offered us a twin bed that we took down in the lobby where we slept… Honestly if I could’ve put 0 stars I would’ve.
- M8343LYkatieb (2/5): RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN!!!!!!! - The entire experience at this hotel was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. From the check in process to the lack of communication we have never been so disappointed. The beds are literally like sleeping on cardboard, the maid is a nightmare and not helpful at all. TO TOP IT ALL OFF…. We met fellow Canadian travellers in the common area at 10:30pm on our first night here. They had been locked out of their room since 6:00pm with no access to any of their belongings. These poor people were in their honeymoon. We waited with them for HOURS and tried everything from calling to texting the hotel to assist them in getting in their room with no avail. We finally decided to give them a twin mattress from our room and had my 2 children sleeping together in the other twin mattress in our room. JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT IT COULDNT GET WORSE…. The following day I requested new sheets for my kids bed after donating a mattress to STRANDED STRANGERS…. I was told we can’t have new sheets as i was not authorized to move the mattress. Are you bloody kidding me?!?!? If you think the location of this TERRIBLE PLACE will make up for the awful experience you are out of your mind. RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN. This place is a nightmare.

The staff in the morning during breakfast, Teressa, had have provided excellent service, met our requirements for the food even for next day when we had to check out early in the morning. Highly recommended for a family or anyone to enjoy Venice island. It was very easy to walkable to major attractions.

- Filippo (10/5): - Once we booked Grifoni, I have to be honest, I saw some reviews and was upset that I couldn’t cancel my reservation. I expected the worst and was anxious leading up to our stay. However, there is absolutely nothing wrong with this boutique hotel. We had no problems finding it. I used Apple Maps because Google Maps gave directions over nonexistent bridges. Apple Maps provided two routes to get there from either the Ferrovia (train station) or Piazzale Roma (bus terminal). I was under the impression that finding the hotel would be a huge task, as the reviews had suggested. To my surprise, we arrived after only a 12-minute walk with no problems. Keep in mind, my young children, husband, and I had five pieces of luggage to haul in the incredible heat. The room was spacious and perfect for my family of four. The bathroom and shower were also excellent and larger than many of the bathrooms in 4-star hotels we stayed at in Italy. We didn’t opt for the included breakfast since there are plenty of cafes nearby that offer breakfast options. Let’s face it, as another review mentioned, you don’t go to Venice to spend time in your hotel. The location is great, just a 15-minute walk to the Ponte Rialto and St. Mark’s Square. This boutique hotel is exactly what it claims to be: a quaint, accommodating place that serves its purpose.

We ended up having to pay a hell a lot of money for another hotel for a single night so we didn’t have to sleep on the streets. I arrived to Venice with my family and two children, we did the check in 9th July, I filled in both forms that consisted of check in and to pay for the tourist tax before the check in time which was 15:00 on the day of arrival. When we got there they still didn’t send the code for the room or room number that should have been sent hours before. Also when we arrived the hotel didn’t even have a sign of its name anywhere, only a door number, when we went inside there was no contact information to reach the owner anywhere in case something was wrong, which is terrible as not even a phone number was disclosed on the listing!This made it really stressful as I was left on the streets with two children. Previously Agoda sent us directions and a separate code to access the main building and storage room. We didn’t get given any contact information to the owners at all, so when we got their phone number after asking around, they did not answer us!!! It was getting late and we were left with no accommodation at all as they did not even send a room number or code to the room to us. we contacted Agoda costumer services and they responded the next day after our check out telling us that they will respond to us in the next 24-48hours, when they did, they didn’t even try to contact the hotel owners instead have us their number and told us to do it ourselves, there was a lot of back and forth with customer services until they finally contacted the hotel for a refund. The hotel declined and told them that they had a correct code (that they didn’t send) and that we never gave them ‘feedback’ which was a complete lie as we did on the day of arrival. Costumer services on both the hotel and Agoda were absolutely terrible!! As this hotel owner did not follow procedure or even disclose all of their information.

- triciae957 (8/5): Great Hotel in a good location - My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights and were very happy with the hotel. Regarding other reviews, I’ll try and be as honest and truthful as I can be. You are provided with a code and room number via WhatsApp prior to your visit. With this is also a code to the luggage store as you cannot access the room until 3pm. There’s also a toilet in the luggage store. The room we stayed it over looked the side street where the hotel is situated and it was fine for what we required. Yes the lights change colour; you can have this or press the switch again and the colour lights go off and normal lights work. Not an issue, just press the switch again. Yes the walls are not soundproof. We could hear other guests moving in the room above and coming up the stairs. However, this was in the day and we heard nothing at night. Given the location and the fact there are two restaurants right out side the hotel, there is a little noise, but again not at night.there’s also a little shop opposite for water etc. No tea and coffee facilities in the room, but many places did not reintroduce these after Covid and there’s cafes open for coffee if required. So this was not an issue for us. Pillows were a little soft, but this is a personal preference and the hotel have no control over what people prefer. We were disappointed that we could not access the roof for the view, but it’s not a deal breaker. Breakfast is available for a fee and the lovely lady at breakfast was always polite and friendly. Communicate from the hotel was excellent so personally we are unsure what guests are not happy with. We cannot stress that you are in your room to sleep, you’re not on holiday in the room!
- Guide64326910431 (4/5): Disappointing and expensive - Unwelcoming and uncomfortable place. No-one in reception- you are sent codes to the hotel and room. The deluxe room we stayed in was sparce and tacky with a disco light and no class or comfort. You could hear everything through the walls of the adjoining room. The beds and pillows were hard and uncomfortable. Positives were- it was clean, well situated and WiFi was good. For the price at over £200 per night without breakfast, it was too expensive and did not reflect a boutique hotel.

The best part of the stay was interacting with Teresa in the mornings and enjoying her breakfast and amazing cappuccinos to start the day! She’s very hospitable and extremely helpful for tourists who aren’t familiar with the area. I would suggest packing lightly because Venice doesn’t have roadways that vehicles can travel on, the walk from where you’ll be dropped off to the hotel is a little under 3/4 of a mile and includes several sets of stairs and small bridges that need to be crossed. I would highly recommend the location as it is in the center of the city yet not on the main canal so you avoid some noise from the lively city. Enjoy!

- Heather (10/5): - This property was in a great location. Easy to walk to from train station. There is grocery store right next to it. It included a nice breakfast. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was clean and had a large shower with a hand held. Although there isn't a front desk the property provides codes so you can access the property's main floor and a storage room where you can leave your luggage before check in and after check out (that room also includes a toilet). My husband had left his medicine in the room when we checked out, and we were so thankful that the cleaning staff found it and contacted us shortly afterwards just as we were about to leave on the train and we were able to run back and get it. There is zero real time communication, it’s all done over email and takes about 24 hours for a response back. But they only ask you questions and never respond to your questions. If you want a cheaper place to stay that has great service. Fantastic rooms, breakfast and views. And can book a walk in for 4 people go with hotel Ca’ Noble Corner. Just don’t stay here.
- johnnyv1959 (6/5): Mixed feelings, but I should have researched better - The hotel was nice and clean, but the shower was really small and hard to take a good shower in. The hotel has no front desk- all communication done through text and response was good for any questions we had. There is no lift and sadly we were on the top floor, so hauling luggage up 8 flights for an older man was not easy. The search showed that breakfast was included, but I guess you have to click somewhere and then pay which I thought was confusing- the site should state breakfast available at an extra charge. Weird thing was our room had a mosquito problem- We killed probably 20 mosquitos in the 2 nights we were there and left with many stings that made us itchy- so in my opinion, not the stray one or two that got in. Location was great and if you are planning on visiting Venice for the first time as I was doing, be prepared to walk a lot, up and down stairs, over bridges and such. So if convenience is paramount due to age or ability, look for accommodations closer to the train or bus station.

The cleaning staff was very rude. Whoever was responding on Expedia wasn’t clear about how to pay taxes since the links they sent didn’t work. Finally they said to pay with cleaning lady so we did and she yelled NO, NO, NO! Like we were children, when tried to pay for the taxes with a card. I gave her cash then she didn’t have change so I had to overpay not by choice. Will not recommend this place to friends or family and will not consider this hotel again.

- Rosanne (4/5): - My friend and I travelled North of Italy and Venice was our last stop. It was unfortunate that Grifoni Boutique was our least favourite stay. We weren't comfortable and were looking forward to returning home. The good thing was, we were only in Venice for two days and maximized our time exploring that we were only in our room to sleep and shower. Pros: - Right across the grocery store. We stocked up on fruits and water - Away from the tourist crowds but within walking distance to the main attraction. If you haven't been to Venice before, the streets are always congested and we preferred a quieter area. Cons: - Not comfortable! Our room was very humid and we didn't have control of the a/c. We visited in the spring and keep in mind, it will get hotter if you're visiting in the summer. The bathroom was very moist and you can see the condensation on the walls. - We were spoiled from our other stays and had cleaned towels everyday. Grifoni only provided one towel per person the entire stay. Since the ventilation in our unit was poor, we were drying ourselves in a damp towel. - The bed was very springy and pillows are flat - You can hear everything. We can hear every step from the person staying above us and their conversations. - Since there is no front desk, I contacted staff by WhatsApp. We asked if there was an iron in our rooms. As well, we inquired how to book a porter to take us to the train station. They took two days to respond - after we checked out.

Had to reach out to get the correct link to an online form, which was later sent through WhatsApp. I also had to pay the city tax through a site, and this could have been due to my check in date and time being Sunday at midnight. I was given a form with pictures and directions on how to arrive but Maps was able to direct us as well (we compared both) the code to enter the building and then enter the room was very easy.

- Dorian (8/5): Good quiet stay - Very clean, comfortable new room. If you are after a quiet out of the main part of Venice spot this is perfect. It is a bit of a walk to St Marco, however it does have restaurants and bars close by with a small convenience store right at front.
- Guillermo (8/5): - The place is nice! The bed a bit hard, only 1 pillow per person you can ask for more but since is contact less you will get what you need next day. Don’t follow the directions they give you! They make you go grow a lot of bridges that are not adécuate with ramps for luggage. Follow google for me was easier on the way back!

A few things to improve: fridge wasn't cold, safe wasn't fixed in the closet and once the shower had only cold water for us from morning till afternoon. But the friendly Teresa made everything perfect. ;)

- moira1555 (2/5): Horrible Customer Service - I booked this hotel with 3 of my frineds. We unfortunately were not able to visit Venice due to travel restrictions because of the Corona Virus. I reached out for a partial refund, and they blamed it on me as if it was my decision to not visit the hotel. There is a travel ban in Venice. I was not expecting a full refund, but was shocked when they did not give us anything back. DO NOT STAY HERE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERICE- ONLY CARE ABOUT THEIR MONEY.
- ereklel2020 (2/5): disrespectful and careless behaviour - recently we wanted to visit Venice but because of Coronavirus, we decided to cancel our trip, and hotel refused to refund even tho they understand how Dangerous it can be for visitors and it is possibility in case of getting infected spreading it even more. we had a trip from 6 mar to 13 and all the hotels were kind enough in other cities (bologna, Milan) refund (even though all was nonrefundable) and this one refused.

- Michael_H_GR (2/5): Not recommended - terrible smell, no reception and unhelpful staff - We planned to stay there on November 13th, 2019. Since Acqua alta was hitting Venice we called the provided telephone number and asked if it is ok to stay at their Hotel since the authorities of Venice told tourists to stay away of the City. The staff told us that everything is fine during Acqua alta. When we arrived, we realized that the whole Hotel smelled like excrements and chlorine which poses a potential health risk at this concentration. Since the Hotel has no reception and the only person there was the Italian only speaking cleaning personnel, we had to look for a different place.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Venice for 4 - Nice location! Away from the busy area of the square, but easy access to all activities. Had no trouble with a late night check in. Just note that if you have large luggage, you have to carry your luggage over several bridges. There is no elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs depending on your room. Also no place to store luggage when leaving, so we did find a storage place near the train station that wasn’t too costly for the day. Room was very spacious and slept 4 comfortably. Bathroom was nice size and shower was large. Room and facility was very clean! Had trouble with the safe and turning on the heater. Since we checked in late, there was no one to help with these situations even when we called the phone number provided. Breakfast was very good and fully supplied. Hostess was gracious and kind. Good location away from the business of St Mark’s Square, yet close and within easy walking distance. Found many quaint shops and great restaurants when walking to get to our destinations.
- dond421 (8/5): Good place for the Price - We arrived very late and did about a 10 minute walk to the hotel. Be aware that there are several bridges to carry larger suitcases if you are walking from the train station like we did. Also you have to carry up all luggage to the room. However, check in was easy and quick online and we found the hotel easily. Room was large and had plenty of room for the 4 of us. However we couldn’t get the safe to work right or figure out the heating system. The remote for the unit was without a battery and a maintenance light kept blinking off and on all night. However, I just covered it with a bandaid since no one would answer the service line- again we were a late check in. Bathroom and other amenities: TV, Internet, Room lighting were fine. Breakfast was enjoyable and readily available and fully furnished. Hostess was very nice and accommodating. Another warning that there is no place to store luggage, so we found a storage site near the train station that cost us for two storage bins because they only hold a certain number of pieces of luggage. But it was a great location once we left Venice and boarded our train that evening. Had a great time visiting and got to really see and experience a lot of great sites- especially the gondola ride.

It was super clean, tidy spacious and it was sooo centraly located! The breakfast was very simple and I loved that!! See you very soon!!

- gwynmic (8/5): no frills but clean comfort& good location - Yes, it is a little bit of a bother to check in ar Piazzale Roma BUT at the same time, if you are coming from the airport on the service bus, as we did (do not be persuaded to go for taxis and transfers, the bus is E8 and gets you as close as would anything else), you land at the Piazzale anyway so it's no big deal. You do not have to check out again so that makes things easier. This is VENICE - it is a series of islands - no cars etc so you are going to HAVE to walk a lot ANYWAY! This is the fun of it, the place is full of people pulling suitcases behind them. Griffoni takes about 20 minutes' walking. It is not a posh hotel, hence the reasonable price, but it is a very comfortable, very clean small hotel and the signora who looks after it is so sweet. It must be clear that there is no lift. The breakfast is basic - coffee or tea with croissants. The location is superb. A fairly quiet part of town with an excellent choice of restaurants and little shops of every description. You can pick up a gondola ride just around the corner and Marco will give you an excellent and informative tour in comfort. To our shame, he has excellent English. Would stay there again.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Hotel is in a good location in the middle of main attractions ( rialto bridge and st marks square) however I was extremely upset with the fact that no one mentioned that there wasn’t a reception at the hotel and that you had to check in through a third party agency. We lugged our bags all through the streets to the hotel only to be told we need to walk somewhere else to check in. There was no mention of the agency at all nor the signs you need to follow to find the area to check in after we found out that we needed to go somewhere else. We needed to call 3 times on our journey just to figure out where to go, completely unacceptable! I was in contact with Elisa days prior to the trip in which she asked when I would be arriving and failed to mention the fact that checkin is not at the hotel location. Infuriating when it’s nearly 40 degrees outside. The rooms are very basic. Only provided soap and 1 small container of shampoo. The breakfast was also very small. Cereal and croissants are your only option. We chose for a hotel over Airbnb since it was only 1 night that we were staying however if I was to do it again I would go Airbnb. Less complicated and you know exactly what you are getting. I would never stay here again.

The staff were all very friendly, and they give you clear instructions on how to get to the hotel. The room itself is nice - I love the bathroom! It's very very clean. Read some reviews before and people were complaining about the bed but I personally did not see any problems with it. Also, theres a supermarket right across the hotel so that's very convenient if you want to grab something. Breakfast is included and it starts at 8am but unfortunately I had to leave before 8 so can't comment on that. Overall a great stay!
- Sulabh (8/5): Clean Rooms but frustrating check-in process/fees - The hotel room was nice and breakfast was good with freshly baked croissants. The problems are with the check-in process. After the booking, we got a text that we have to check-in at a different location than the hotel and that they will charge 5 euro for every bag that you leave with them in case you arrive before the check-in time. The hotel is about 2-2.5 km away from the place where you are supposed to check in with both the places not having any elevators. The actual place of stay had very clean rooms but there was no one to assist in case you need anything (as there was no reception desk). After a long day of walking and sight-seeing, I didn't appreciate going all the way back to the check-in place to pick up my luggage in the night and then having to travel for 2.5 km to get to my hotel room, which wasted a good 1-1.5 hours of my time. Also, the fact that the 5 euro fee for holding the luggage is not mentioned at the time of booking especially if you are traveling with family or kids.

However did not enjoy the distance in having to check in from my room, no elevator so we had to walk with our heavy luggage to the 4th floor and limited breakfast. Not one of the most comfortable place to stay with all the money I spent one night.
